The naismith rumour really gathering pace now, personally i'd take him, what a difference he'd make up front, we just have to shake hands and forget what happened but the rumour is definately that he's coming.

You might want to forgive someone who not only desertered the club but then had the audacity to hold a press conference and declare the club dead but I can't. Don't want that kind of person anywhere near the club and as for the so called rumour gathering pace he is still under contract and I'm sure they would want a sum we can't afford to pay

If naismith comes back there's going to be people split obviously by the history we have with him with his injuries then stabbing the club in the back but I'd forgive him at the time I was raging about everything that was going on but when you look now the guys that left they have short careers and family's to feed but we take naisy back he bangs in the only goal of the game in a old firm it won't be long till the haters start loving again lol

Sorry I can just just about forgive him desert club but holding a press conference and spout all sevco pish I can't

I'll never forgive any of them that left that way but apart from that don't think he would make a great difference.

Why do people keep coming up with the phrase he has a family to feed? Steven Davis had a family to feed yet he made sure the club got a fee. Lee Wallace had a family to feed but he stayed. You make it sound like Rangers were paying these players minimum wage. All he needed to do was ensure Rangers got some sort of fee and no one would have thought anything less of him moving. If he had agreed to leave for £500k he would have still got his move. Instead he walked out and then pronounced the club dead at a press conference. The same club who had helped him get over 2 serious injuries

What are you on about, making sure the club got a fee?, Who would this 'fee' have benefitted exactly,? the spivs who were plundering the last dregs from the club.
Its time people moved on from all this 'i'll never forgive ' sanctimonious bull .
get over it,
can he improve the team? if so, its a no brainer, we're not really in any position to be unforgiving . Move on people. It's that simple !

I don't agree with the way that these guys left either. I believe that they were i'll advised to take the press conference in relation to the club. But take a step back and look at the situation, remove your personal feeling that as a fan you'd play for Rangers for nothing due to love for the club.

These guys were relatively young footballers whom took a pay cut of up to 75% to enable the club to see out it's fixtures until the end of 2012 season so that in itself is a sacrifice. As a young Scottish international player, why would you want to play your football in the doldrums of Scottish football, picking up a far smaller wage than what you could get elsewhere in a relatively short career. The came to Rangers to be winners. The club let them down by financial mismanagement in the background. Two sides to everything.

Yes, self interest made them opt not to sign for the new holding company, making them more attractive to clubs to sign on bosman deals. That was wrong but they must have been advised by their agents to do so. The agents and players would be picking up hefty signing on fees due to this. We all know agents are greedy bassas.

Look at McCoist, he made sure that his big wage was honoured to play patsy and get the fans to buy into Green's charade. I blame these people for the financial bleeding rather than these players, all the while ill advised, who chose to leave.

I would take Naismith and Lafferty back. No one is saying we nee to make it comfortable for them but if their men - they should be able to take a bit of flack. In comparison to Waghorn and Garner it's like day and night for ability. If anything we need a continuity of what Rangers are about - the winning mentality that's lacking at the moment. Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace are the only current players who carry that batton but the rest of the squad aren't listening. Its of vital importance that we need this under Caixinha.

Other guys like the Americans transferred there contracts these players weren't getting paid there wage at the time Lee Wallace an Lee mccculloch wher the only two who took a pay cut at the time and these guys have short careers. Hence why I said they have family's to feed . They play till there 33/ 35 then retire some are lucky enough to coach or go in to punditry but not all of them. You make as much as you can cause you don't know what's round the corner. And Kenny Miller played for celtic the worst thing a rangers player could do but 99.99% have forgiven him after beating celtic and I'm just saying that would probably be the case if naisy was as successful on his return if he comes.

Lafferty is a possibility.

At the time no one knew what was going on and who was going to hoover up the cash. It's easy to say now about who it went to but I defy any fan or player to say they knew where the money was going. At the time it could have been the difference between the club going under and surviving. Naismith and others chose to turn their backs on the club and supporters who had shown them great loyalty

lafferty is mince and nowhere near good enough in my opinion
