After the old firm game, pedro should look at giving zak rudden and doodoo the strikers positions as garner and waghorn just ain't cutting it.
And should get the young lad atakayi on the wing and give burt and windass a run of games in midfield with either mackay or beerman as other winger.

Agree13 Disagree2

I think we should definitely get those boy in this season but maybe not blood them in the Old Firm game. Could knock their confidence to he'll if they play poor on the debut

Get what your sayin Matthew but I think win or lose putting these young guys in would benefit them long term. Also say we look at building a tight team that we definetly think can push for the title nite nxt year but the season after! Then to me players like Beerman Bates Atayaki Burt and Rudden there was another lad that was on bench against the Sheep his first name Aiden.

Anyways these lads do have potential and I'm sure most do then we must give them game time. We are not expected to win the Lge nxt yr BUT we will want not only 2nd but to see an improvement on the pitch. We cannot drop these players just because of a bad performance as some of the current squad have been given chance after chance.

We must show dome belief in these young guys and let them play together over nxt season with obviously a mix of experiance, but we find ourselves in a position Financially that fate has it these lads could be our answer. I KNOW its wishful thinking but give them a chance! These lads along with Rossiter AND Dodoo could become a top team and save us Millions!

So with Bates Beerman Atayaki Burt Rudden Aiden in squad with Fods Wilson Wallace Rossiter Holt Dodoo and poss Windass Crooks add Nico and Miller for only nxt season then Caixinha has to fill the positions with signings of a certain level and not 7-8 £200-300k players and rather 3-4 £1.5-2m ones.

Again I'm lookin at Season 2018-19 and a team they has grown together and knows how each other plays and are determined to knock the tic off top spot. Always bringing in new players sets us back AND at end of the day there's no point bringing in some of these foreign players that are no better than what we have at Auchinhowe!

We are too scared to put some of these lads in due to their age and in my opinion when it comes to age and a physical presence then the back line does require it but to have pace and technical ability down the wings up front and an Att mid it differs hugely!

Look at the size of the lad at Chelsea which won EPL player of the year plus we are in this financial situation so let's believe in these lads and give them a DECENT chance and not buy a dozen players from 2nd Division sides from Europe not saying not buy any but what's the point of Auchinhowe and Development Coaches!

Andy1872. You are so right. I've been banging on for months about giving one or two youngsters a chance and always get shot down. The old adage if you are good enough you are old enough should apply! Warburton's useless signings have had their chance so let's turn to our youngsters for the rest of the season. Believe me, Celtic are not brilliant, they are having a free run right now but that must and will change next season. If Rossiter and Kranjcar are fit they will be like two new signings and don't forget about young Hardie out on loan. He is a goalscorer.

26 Apr 2017 09:13:57
Hardie hasn't really scored that many for Raith Rovers this season. Don't think the young players you mention are ready for a game against Celtic especially after the semi final. It would take a very brave manager to play them

Bengy25. I've watched with despair the efforts of Waghorn and Garner and they are useless, as have been Halliday and Kiernan. Look at how well young Bates and Beerman have done coming into the defence. I couldn't fault Bates on Sunday. Beerman was left exposed but that wasn't his fault. I'm not saying play half a dozen youngsters all at once, just maybe play Burt from the start then bring on one of the forwards later in the game. If Toral plays the holding midfield role then Holt, Hyndman and Burt can make up the midfield quartet. Dodoo also deserves to start as he looks capable and lively.

It's all good in theory bringing all these young players through to the 1st team Andy and I agree with you to a certain extent, but let's face it I don't think we will win the league with a team for of youngsters right away it could take 3 to 5 years minimum in my opinion for them all to gel and be strong enough for the demands of the Scottish and premiership and that's before you take into account the demands of our fans.

I think for now getting young Beerman and Bates used to playing in the 1st team is a lot for us as a club at this moment in time with maybe adding just another 2 at most just to slowly integrate them into the first team for next season, but yes I would love to see all the younger players getting their chance but as I say I just don't think we have the time for a full team of younger players.

Andy1872 aiden wilson think he's a centre half.

26 Apr 2017 16:10:56
Notice u say waghorn is useless but he has more goals in less games than the precious Miller.

26 Apr 2017 16:13:14
we are not certain to finish in a european spot as our results against the top half have been poor to say the least so i wouldn't blood these boys in at this stage of the season.

i always think that the cup games are the best for that (not the scottish cup)
because the league is no.1 priority to us and we need to get back to the top i wouldn't blood these youngsters untill we have cup games to see if they are any good

Cee

Waghorn's goals have come against poor opposition. Miller has scored against Aberdeen and Celtic. Something Waghorn has failed to do and he has missed a good few sitters against both

26 Apr 2017 21:21:41
Cee

Waghorn has scored 5 goals against Hamilton, 7 against lower league opposition and 1 against Motherwell, St Johnstone and Inverness. Hardly the mark of a top striker. He has probably ballooned 5 times the amount he has scored over the bar and most of the time is from 5 or 6 yards out

27 Apr 2017 13:03:28
Still more than Miller what's your point?
