Bold move for Pedro to name squad early and really like his confidence. Breath of fresh air we need. I also think it's right for him to say we have best squad and also that Wallace will be back to celebrate the cup final win as the reason being that transfers onto the squad and will make them believe because we are really short in confidence so well done Pedro.

Have to disagree with him saying we have the best squad. Clearly we don't and saying things like that just makes him look silly. We don't even have the second best squad in the league

Bengy25, when our manager said we have the best squad in the league, do you honestly think caixinha actually thinks that? Look beyond that and its quite easy what our manager is trying to achieve, by saying that! Its to install belief within the players and a bit of psychology! He's trying this to get big performances from them and making them believe in themselves!

The players need to have ability not just belief and thanks to your friend Mr Warburton we have a team low on ability. So no amount of empty words like we have the best squad will make any real difference to the current rabble parading about in the great jersey just now. Too many players simply aren't good enough and need to be told some home truths rather than be told how good they are

@bengy25 - he's hardly going to come in and say they are all garbage considering he still needs a turn out of them until the end of the season and will also be stuck with a few of them next season.

You have no credibility on here you are a Warburton apologist and you ended up looking stupid with your blind backing of such a poor manager. As for your explanation about the new managers comments isn't clearly not working and it is making him look stupid.
If you want to make bold statements like that u need the players to have ability too. Something they just don't have and if you think by telling players with limited ability they are the best it will get results then you are even more gullible than I thought you were.

Cee, the difference is that if you are a new boss at work you look at what you have and you very quickly identify the rubbish and you get rid of them and generally without much cost. Then you target their replacements and with the support f your Board you get them.
Pedro has inherited the biggest bunch of incompetents that could be imagined. From players that are constantly injured to cowards that won't get stuck in to players that are totally out of their depth or indeed are a mixture of all three and worse he has them all! He needs a total clear out and the investment to bring in a minimum of five or six quality new players! The chances of him being given the necessary funding without some fundamental changes at the top is pretty remote!
