For all that criticize Dave King surely returning us to an operating profit for the first time in how long only underlines the fact he is doing a decent job, albeit small i'd rather be in this position than signing players at the expense of uncontrollable debt.

Totally agree, I don't think how he has handled some situations has been ideal but if you look at the progress the club has made since he has taken over its been all but positive. Including on the park, We might not be contenders but that was always going to be a tough ask this season. Let's hope pedro gets a decent budget and can bring in some players to challenge the smelly lot next season.

King hopefull that some form of resolution can be made with Ashley in order for a new kit launch next season -

Fully agree and the board reflects the culture of the club. There are lots of critics of course and the delusional wanting middle eastern or Chinese billionaires taking over but we're in good hands with good common sense thinking and realistic ambitious targets.

Whst is the hype about operating profit. The club made basically the same loss as this time last year. Lost £288k in 2015 to december, losr £238k to December 2016. The operating profit has improved by around £800k which is good but other costs of around £570k are just ignored. So another loss. So next season disposal of players will cost. Better players will cost. If Rangers don't qualify for Europe there will be a massive loss next season unless the Ashley problem is solved.
