Ally mccoist makes a very valid point in the record by saying what rangers need more than anything is a club well run and well funded and getting a director of football is not going to take these problems away

After hearing about us being intrested in berra mccoist may have a valid point as yet again berra would be another freebie we don't even have a manager but yet we are still wanting another free player our squad needs serious investment not freebies i feel this is reall reason wilson never came cause he wouldn't have big enough budget and mitchell will be the same

Mccoist only done what anyman would do if they have a family to support when he was put on gardening leave and maybe the reason he didn't back king is because he doesn't think king has held up his end of the bargain to invest like he promised there is both sides to the story

He wasn't shy lifting his wages while on gardening leave though was he the amount of money that club has given him in his life a can't believe the hard neck of the man. doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell you there was a back hander from green and co while the sh""t was hitting the fan!

A think you's are been a bit harsh on coisty I doesn't matter if u have £1 or 1m in the bank if u where put on gardening leave u would still be looking for your wage yes coisty took the rains at a bad time not just because he was a bad manager because he loves rangers and he tryed his god dam best for the club when u think of the mess the club was in coisty will never manage a club again he nows he's not manager material so troops don't have a grudge on the man and just remember him for the player he was

Strange timing for McCoists comments just after Ashely's. McCoist was an overpaid waste of space as manager and is just another one of the rats like Ashley and his/ her cronies that took as much as they could out of the club without giving anything back!

Got to admit it is strange timeing but the points he makes about funding are very valid and this is something this board are going to have to address this summer no point bringing new manager new director of football to scout and a buy players if your not going to fund this with serious investment in scouting network and transfer fees for players if this does not happen and we are this amount of points behind celtic again next season then you can be sure there will be massaive pressure on the board from the fans

Like McCoist or not this DOF is nonsense. Rangers have no money zero or almost zero transfer funds. New manager on £800k so DOF on £1m. So combined £1.8m then Rangers will be lucky to give them £2mill to spend on new players. What can the DOF do with that? So why go down the DOF route? It works in clubs actively buying and selling players usually supporting a quality manager. that's not Rangers. Mccoist is right. Stupid idea.

We have no income, no manager and a board who aren't likely to give us enough money to match Celtic.
