I see Mark Warburton and the other two are still claiming they did not resign.

Personally I don't think their union would be prepared to go to court if we had written proof they did resign.

It is a fact that a verbal conversation by their agent regardless of how many witnesses were present is NOT legally binding.

I do hope our board of directors end this soonest as it could cost a lot of cash we do not have if they have no proof of these resignations.

if they didn't sign anything they wouldn't go off and find a new place of work, your lawyer would advise you not too.

I think it's pretty telling that McPartland is in at Forest. There is no smoke without fire. Warburton is trying to rebuild his credibility on the back of this as he never expected it to get out. He's all about respect mind, but that's obviously only the public face. The curtain slipped and he's been seen for what he is. Davie Weir is obviously just a daftie that's easily lead.

I honestly cannot see the club having gone to these lengths unless they were confident that they were in the right. They would/ should have consulted their HR department or employment lawyer prior to accepting these resignations. They wouldn't construct such a detailed fallacy to get them out. Far too many coincidences. MW and DW will be at Forest as of the end of the season to join McPartland. Hopefully they will want to buy some of the dross the brought to us.

Think wier has already gone to villa as something to do with the youth set

Verbal ARE admissable in Scotland

Weir's only in a temporary position until the end of the season. He's helping a former coach he knows from Everton out at Villa.

Actually a verbal agreement is legal in Scots law.

With regards to MW and DW surely to goodness we did not let them go without notice etc etc as claimed. It is obvious to a blond man with dark glasses they wanted oot.
Glad that we are not getting anyone in before the big game. I think it wiuld ba a big ask to get the team tofether and would have been slaughtered if we lost. The more I hear about Pedro the more I like only prob is how long will he stay.

Woolybunnet: A resignation is when you or your representative formally tell your employer that you are leaving your job. You can resign verbally, but resigning in writing is more formal.
If you have given your resignation as you are required to by your contract, you cannot take it back unless your contract makes this possible or your employer agrees.
If you say you wish to resign, then this may be taken as a resignation. That's the law.
