Warburton claiming he has King bang to rights. Warburton is perusing King for £2.1 million, which is for loss of earnings and half a million which is still owed to him for getting us promoted last season.

14 out of the last 19 players signed by Warburton, their agent was Warburton's Daughter. mmm

17 Feb 2017 20:04:47
Why hasn't King paid him the win bonus for delivering the 1st division title and promotion? Hmm. Why the halogen heaters at the bottom of the marble staircase? Skint

17 Feb 2017 20:15:41
Smith2d, total nonsense, maybe 4, certainly not 14.

17 Feb 2017 20:27:49
Garner, Waghorn and Tav are listed as being represented by Key Sports Mngnt. As well as Zelalem. But when you add that to the number of players he's signed because he's worked with them before it really does beg the question as to how much scouting ability and football knowledge the man has.

17 Feb 2017 20:58:01
Aye Campsie Bhoy because Halogen heaters are the cheapest way to heat a room 😂. Other than burning actual cash I can't think of a dearer way. Numpty.

17 Feb 2017 21:14:11
TheFuturesBright, just telling what I heard my man, suppose we'll find out soon if it's true. Decent source though!

17 Feb 2017 21:08:44
this will be settled out of court there is faults on both sides and an agreement will be reached

Well let's just see if those facts and figures are accurate Gor - I highly doubt it.

So far all we know are 'facts' by way of the statements from the club / D King and Warbs which are contradictory.

I would highly doubt DK would completely fabricate the actions of the agent who allegedly tendered resignation on all 3s behalf

Add this to Warbs alleged attempts to engineer a move to Notts Forrest (neither of which I note he has denied) whilst in gainful employment. I reckon DK will have made sure that's reasonable grounds for accepting the resignations allegedly tendered.

just my opinion but let's wait and see. If either are true I'm behind the board 100%

I think this only highlights what a poor inferstructure we have, he utalised what he could to get players in. I don't think this is anything underhand as it seems to be out in the open however who knows.

Heard lawyer tonight say that as MW has under 2 years continuous employment there is not a thing he can do about this. I also own a company and am aware of this. Does not matter if it's somebody in a low paid job or the manager of the world's most successful club, the rules are the same. Don't shoot the messenger guys

18 Feb 2017 09:52:10
I'm sure what you are referring to is that he was still technically in his probationary period so the club could terminate his contract at any point they wished with only a notice period having need to be paid.

18 Feb 2017 14:04:17
Campsie Bhoy, realise you lot know a lot about fires but your tripping mate. Just worry about keeping Brenda. we will be back where we belong . It's not an if, it's a when!

18 Feb 2017 14:15:13
Correct. Rules are the same for everybody

18 Feb 2017 15:45:06
Will a lot not depend on what is in his contract? I say this because I am assuming that at that level the two year rule would be overruled by the t's and c's in the Employment Contract.

I guess it also depends on what level of authority the Agent has since if this includes the authority to act on behalf of the Client, then he would have had the right to tender their resignations. Problem is that it was perhaps inferred rather than expressed, so the burden of proof would fall on Rangers.

It's all a bit murky but it sounds to me as though Rangers took their time to make a decision which hopefully means that they took legal opinion.

Personally I still believe that it will be settled out of court. No Employer wants to employ someone that makes a point of going to an Industrial Tribunal. They are just trouble!

18 Feb 2017 16:41:15
Geddes I'm 30 will it be in my lifetime? More chance of being another new club than challenging us mate

18 Feb 2017 19:21:50
It's a 2 year probationary period Tomusa, no matter who you are or what job it is. Or so I've been told.
Campsie Bhoy - it's a gey big wheel that doesn't come back round. Desmond is not getting any younger and I hear his family all support a certain English club. They couldn't care less about Celtic. When Dermot shuffles off the mortal coil, what will happen then In any case investment is coming very soon. Things can change very quickly and when you are the world's most successful club investment is certainly a realistic possibility. We will be back in our rightful place soon enough
