I was watching a film.
What's going on? BBC stating the all three have resigned?
I know people claiming it was false on the Rangers twitter account but it's a story on the BBC now?

Just read the club statement.
Looks like Warburton has made a lot of people's minds up for them, hopefully the team stick together and we can find a decent replacement!

Seems straightforward to me.
They asked to be released, the board accepted. Warbs and co then decide they are not wanting to be released (other options fell through perhaps? )
Effectively Warburton doesn't know what he wanted. No surprise there.
Well I for one am delighted the clueless one has gone and taken Weir with him.
Big DW was a great servant as a player but he has brought nothing to the club as MW's assistant picking up wages for SFA.

If story from the board is true that Nottingham forest had approached mw why did we not want compensation mw was still under contract to us.

Mw and co wanted out and tried to bargain with the board to waive compensation so they could get out quickly. They knew their time was up and tried the easy way out. Tells you everything you need to know about mw and co. Good riddance!

I can only read into the fact the board had decided that the management team were going at end of season so if we had sacked them WE would have had to pay them compensation but when their agent tried to broker a deal they must have thought they had won a watch. glad the board stuck to their side of the deal on your way MW DW

In some respects I have sympathy for Warburton, (although what he and his two associates attempted to do by all accounts this week and broker an exit without compensation from Rangers so they could move to Forrest is totally lacking in integrity), since he was given little support by King and even less support by Weir who failed miserably to either improve the defence or instal a Rangers mentality in the team.
