I may be shot down here but what about Andy Halliday being pushed up as a centre forward? Because he does have an eye for goal and he's never a DM.

Shot down!? Put down more like! he's just not good enough full stop he has no technique or control and he can't pass! We have dodoo garner miller waghorn who can play center forward so sorry but halliday will never play there!

How bout he play further up in centre where he would be more productive and can get closer to goal to have shots I he certainly has the power to unleash drives on goal and we make a move for the young forward at morton jai quitonga who looks a good player and go for Matthew knox from livi instead of fulling team of loan players again surley these lads are withing our reach

If Halliday was half as good as he thinks he is we would all be delighted but if his articles in the press are anything to go by then re really is deluded. As a defensive midfield player he is very poor and indeed my own personal opinion is that he is not good enough for this league. His passing is poor as is his tackling and his positional sense and he lacks guile.
I doubt he would be any better further up the park but at least it is worth a shout since that is more his position however this is all academic since for some absurd reason Warburton won't drop him!

exactly stewie25 we could bring these players in on a fraction of the wages that we have spent on others there is plenty of talent in scotland if you look but warburton seems to favour the english market we can not compete down there but we can compete in scotish market so we should switch our attention closer to home
