Just watched this, surely its enough to suggest that Halliday needs to play in a more attacking role, Anyone can see that he's not a holding midfielder!

He is not and never will be a Holding midfield player / defensive midfield player and both the team and Halliday are suffering as a result. We should be bringing in a player for the defensive role and giving Halliday the opportunity to establish himself in his own position.
We are seeing the same thing as happened with Lee McCulloch. The guy is Rangers through and through and will play anywhere for the club.
Due to the ineptitude of the management they have failed to sign a player for that holding role and it is really not helping anyone

Yaser Kasim could do a job. Key man for Swindon, and one of our best signings came from Swindon, they usually have players with good potential, he'd be a freebie too.

tomusa the ineptitude, seriously the signed joey barton for that role which no fault to anyone other than joey that didn't work out.
rossiter is injured and will be a great addition once fit again so they did cover that position but thing happened and its not their fault we don't have a lot of money to go and buy players that will fit in and do well in that position.
we all know u don't like the management but seriously its getting ridiculous now u blame them for literally anything that happens at our club.
truth is no one could do better with the money we have had

James, you have made the wrong assumption that i don't like the management, (assuming of course that you are referring to Warburton and not King) .
I believe that Warburton is the best we could have got in the circumstances.
My issue and you should be well aware of this, is that we play Halliday in that role. I fully agree that Rossiter when fit will be a major asset, I, like many others would like to know exactly what is wrong with the boy and the perceived timescale for his return.
Personally I would not have got rid of Barton, I would have sorted both Barton and Halliday out, (we don't know what was said but we know that it was in the aftermath of a heavy defeat against our arch rivals; I would have been pretty pissed off after that result as well) .
I believe that Warburton identified the Holding / Defensive Midfield role as a position that needed filling which is why he initially tried to sign Eustace, unfortunately giving Halliday that jersey because there is no one else and he just happens to be a Rangers supporter is not the answer however and the team is suffering as a result.
I would not go so far as to say that no one could do better with the money he has had because I simply don't know but what I would say is that he has been let down badly by King if he was given the same promises that King made to the support!
