Lafferty is a no brainer - he is top quality (Northern Ireland form) and a Rangers man, having him up top holding the ball up for Windass, McKay, Waghorn.
If Crooks, Rossiter aren't going to be fit a strong holding MF is required, open the cheque-book as this is a crucial position.

Does our management team not have passports? Surely there are better, more cultured players in Scandinavia, the lower leagues in Germany, Italy and Spain and in the Eastern European countries than Lafferty! Despite media comment to the contrary our Scouting System and McParland, don't exactly appear to be uncovering any real quality bargains.

Lafferty is better than we have. Fans seem to forget the uproar when kenny miller came after playing for celtic. Fans actually chanted anti miller songs when it was rumoured he was coming back. If lafferty comes back and scores all the bad feeling will be forgotten. The same as it was with miller.

It was the pfa that took rangers to court. And they were obviously within there rights. At least he didn't have a press conference like naismith and whittaker and basically say rangers were dead.

You say Lafferty is better than what we have but is he the best we can get. If that is the case then I would ask the question, what in Hades is our Scouting system and McParland in particular doing. We should be signing better players than Lafferty!

Tom we are completely skint in case you've missed it. In years going by lafferty wouldn't of got near the team. Times of changed we are shopping in oxfam at the minute. We won't spend a penny this January in transfer fees.

If we could get Lafferty for buttons he'd definitely b worth a punt as he's got better and matured since he left in 2012 and also his expeirience at playing in different countries will have made him a better player

So stewie and supercooper, if your employer was going down the tubes wouldn't you look after yourself and your family financially if u were offered another job on more money? These guys would have known better than us what was going on at time and I was angry at them at the time myself, but I for one no longer blame them for looking out for there own careers
