Is it time to cut our losses with Michael O, Halloran that 1 year now still just a handful of starts, he's obviously not catching the gaffers eye in training I say sell him in thus transfer window, your thoughts guys?

I don't think he is used in a manner to suit his game, but if he does not suit the manager, then why not.

billyb, how would you use him? At start off the season I was one who thought he was underrated and would be a big player this season. When he gets game time he does not seem to make the most of it and other than pace can appear limited, predictable and his passing not great. Also appears to be satisfied not to be involved more.

If you remember the night he destoyed us, at Ibrox, he played quite deep, in a sort of mid-field position and attacked our defence centrally. His pace and the way he attacked us through the middle tore us apart.
He is more suited to an out and out 4-4-2.

ur right billy we are back to the days of bringing in players and playing them differently.

Think he should start game tomorrow at SJ, has something to prove and players can play well against former team.
Our system is more flexible now and can see how could play on the right of a midfield 4. My concern is that his close control is not his best quality. Hope he gets game and plays a blinder, really want him to be success.

Personally for me M'oh is better suited to starting games at Ibrox or the wider longer pitches. Play him at Pittodrie or Tynecastle and his main attacking threat of pace is almost immediately nullified due to the compact nature of those parks. Guy is a decent player great feet but bear in mind he was a star of St Johnstone because I believe Tommy Wright knew how to play to the lads strengths.

Fd, I totally agree, tomorrow night is the perfect platform for O'Halloran. Two goals in a 3-1 victory.

Ger88, Willie Johnston's pace was electric, and he was used through the middle many times, on one occasion scoring 4 at pittodrie. Similarly, with Peter Lovenkrands.

The point being missed with MoH is that he exploited the space in behind when he played against us.

Playing for us, there is no space for him to exploit as the opposition tend to sit in a lot deeper.

This was obviously going to happen but Warburton couldn't see it.

28 Dec 2016 10:25:05
Who would realistically sign him and how much would you think he is worth.

28 Dec 2016 14:45:52
3-1 win tonight would be a great result. Hope MOH plays a blinder and grabs couple of goals. Critical we win tonight regardless of score.

Gosman, Tend to agree with you, but would be ideal for away games, when teams give us more space.
