Reported in the Record Rangers unable to play in Europe next season due to breach of UEFA financial fair play rules. that's the Euro money plan down the lavvy then!

That's not quite what the article said. It states that the SFA's view is that special dispensation would be granted by UEFA. Rangers' situation is far from unique. I suspect you are a troll from the east end and that you'd believe anything the DR rag might print.

not quite witagoal, we can still play in Europe. we haven't breached any rules. All we need to do is prove to UEFA that we can reduce our losses and continue as a going concern if we qualify for Europe.

Quote from the super amazing "SFA Source"

He said: “I suspect that UEFA would grant special dispensation to them because there have been several instances of other clubs, in similar circumstances, being permitted to participate.

“What they would certainly do is ask Rangers to provide independently confirmed, detailed information about their finances as well as their plans to become financially sustainable. ”.

But can we supply such information to uefa.? . we find it difficult to get audited accounts fully signed off. without an ongoing concern being attached!

what u on about johnnyg?
ovcourse we will be able to get documents confirming that if we get into Europe then that would help stabalize the club.

and that's only if uefa ask for it we don't need to provide it because sfa said so.

Didn't Derry City fail in some such scenario?

How can you guarantee Europa league money would guarantee the stability? Definitely over estimating the money on offer, and that's assuming qualification to the group stages. Rangers are over the threshold by about 10 million so i think UEFA would definitely ask. Dynano Moscow and Galatasaray both banned for similair.

It might be a bit difficult to prove you have a plan to reduce your losses particularly when king told shareholders at the agm they would have to spend more than they make for some considerable time which would indicate the losses will increase, you can never really tell if anything that man says is true or a lie. Suppose that's tobacco be expected when you have a convicted criminal at the helm.
