it is ridiculous that we couldn't get the 75 percent needed and where 1 percent short again.
do we only get one agm a year and how long before we can try again to get this resolution 11 passed.

Agree9 Disagree2

I'm sure we need to wait another year for AGM and R11 I'm gutted that if true Mcoist is the one who could've pushed it through and didn't vote for resolution 11. Who is kidding who here.

28 Nov 2016 14:16:01
So Ally McSalary, the man who put Rangers didn't vote for the board's Res 11.

After putting us back years on the field he now seems to be choosing to hinder the club off the field too.

Club legend? Not for me.

28 Nov 2016 16:09:24
Totally agree about McCoist, how can a club legend and true blue Gers man not vote in favour of the club and board and just help the charlatans who have ruined our club for years now.

looks to me like Ally is happy to be sounded out like Cashley and all his cronies. Goodbye Super Ally you have shown yourself in your true colours now.

28 nov 2016 16:18:56
it wasnt ally that put us back years on the field .

if its true he didn't vote then i have lost a lot of respect for him although you don't have the authority to say he isn't a legend .

he won us 9 in a row with his goals and as a player he will live fondly in my memories till the day i die he was my hero.

but if he didn't vote him or sdm then for they should give up their shares in the club and take nothing to do with us.

i hope ally comes out and straightens everything out but if he stays silent on the matter then he is as good as guilty of doing his club a bad turn.

28 Nov 2016 16:37:45
James there is no excuse for what mccoist has done. Mccoist is and always will be a money grabber. He just didn't want his shares diluted and that's a fact.

28 Nov 2016 16:42:21
Ally didn't put us back years on the field?

Yeah I'm forgetting that silky style of football that he had us playing and those inspired signings like Kevin Kyle and Ian Black. Just a matter of time before a big English club brings him back into management I suppose.

As for me not having the authority to say he isn't a legend, I agree.

That's why I said he is not a club legend. FOR ME. He is though perfectly entitled not to vote and you could argue that financially it makes perfect sense for him not to want his shares diluted.

As for the veracity of the article then I would tend to trust Gary Ralston, a Rangers fan himself although coming from the DR I can see why some people might not trust the source.

28 Nov 2016 18:42:13
McCoist heaped praise on Green and every other money grabbing bastard that wormed their way onto the board in various positions for self gain at every opportunity. The fact is his silence was bought with his pay-off and we will never know the truth. Pains me to say it but seems he and the rest of that mob knew exactly what they were doing and are still looking after each other.

28 Nov 2016 19:23:44
James, ridiculous is the correct word it just sums up everything about your club lol.

28 Nov 2016 19:32:12
i its true the macoist did not vote he is even lower than ithought he was the board can have another ballot straight away but i am dissapointed they did not do their homework they ater all have the controllig share of the votes t.

Statement Released on Resolution 11

The votes For Resolution 11 were considerably higher than the Directors had anticipated and resulted in an increase of c.1.9 million votes for the Resolution based upon last year's AGM vote. This was almost enough to see the vote carried as a special resolution. The Directors will consider carefully shareholders' views on this vote, consult (where practicable) with those who did not vote or opposed the Resolution and identify the Company's next steps after that process is complete.

For - 43,454,429 (74.6%)
Against - 14,795,321 (25.4%)
Total votes cast on the Resolution was 58,249,750. This represents 71.5% of the Company's issued share capital.

We all boycott Sports Direct because of Ashley so tell me, how many also boycott McGill's buses?

28 Nov 2016 20:39:05
I boycott McGills buses, have never set foot in one, and never will. In fairness, I have never seen one, and don;t know where they operate from. Just doing my bit.

28 Nov 2016 20:50:40
Do we know for certain that McCoist did not vote or that he voted against the motion? We can assume that the dubious characters that are in the Ashley Camp voted against but before we make comment about McCoist we need to know the truth. Perhaps Mr McCoist would like to tell us himself to clear up any misunderstanding!

As for McCoist the player, he certainly scored goals for us and helped us win nine in a row but he certainly didn't win us nine in a row singlehanded and indeed I would suggest that any quality striker playing in that side would equally have scored the proverbial barrel load of goals at that time.

As for his tenure as manager the less said the better. He should never have been given the job in the first place and having been given the job he should have got rid go McDowell and replaced him with a quality number 2 that could have made up for McCoist's failings. As it was we ended up with two total failures and I don't see McCoist doing anything in the game if he comes back into football management. Perhaps it would be better if Ally just sold his shares to King and 'walked away' completely!

28 Nov 2016 23:00:38
It wasn't sir David Murray that also never voted at the agm, it was Malcolm Murray another so-called life long rangers fan.

29 Nov 2016 00:26:00
Malcolm Murray was seen for what he was in the short time that he was at The Club, Another so called Rangers man manipulated into the Club by the Green Brigade to do their bidding.

29 Nov 2016 13:30:48
naz he had to build a team from scratch mate and done enough to get us up to the championship with that team .

incase u forgot mate we where put down the lkeagues and 28 players left our great club he stuck by us when no one else would.

so no he didn't get us playing silky fopotball but with what was happening off the park sir alex ferguson couldn't have got us playing nice football in those terrible leagues.

so before you open your mouth think about the drivel that's about to spew out of it.
