I agree. We have a talented squad no doubt but we need a young McCoist or Boyd to regularly stick the ball in the net.

garner sets up quite a few. Kenny miller missed 3 absolute sitters against dundee.

ive seen both garner and miller miss a ton of chances some of them sitters.
id have to agree with dj we need a goalscorer.

There is not enough Muscle, not enough bite and not enough commitment from too many players. We are leaderless. Our Captain is a poor communicator on the field and instead of leading by example and driving the team forward when needed he tends to disappear! I would like to see a quality centre back and a hard tackling central midfield player with a bit of skill with one or both of them having the qualities needed to lead the team. Hopefully a fit Rossiter, (if that ever happens), and or Crooks, could also make a difference to the team. Holt was ok in the Championship but he struggles in the top league and is too lightweight as is McKay. In McKay's case he has the ability and needs to spend time with Willie Johnston to learn how to look after himself on the football park!

Eye that's right Tom, we need a Bud Johnstone. Recall Aberdeen player John McMaster had to be given the kiss of life during a game against Rangers at Ibrox in 1980 after Johnston stamped on his throat. Bud's response, "I thought it was Willie Miller".
