Warburton is a loaf of fresh baked bread nice and hot and tasty when just baked but after a while every slice tastes the same then goes stale and moldy and doesn't last long enough till you bin it.

Warburton is an average manager who was found out last season and is being found out this season. No wonder Brentford got rid of them.

Biffo ime unlike yourself in my thoughts on mw, i look at it the guy came to a championship club that had just failed in its hope for promotion (under ally) mw got us to the cup final, and we won it, mw got us promoted, then took us to another cup final (scottish) then we reached the semi final (league cup) we are currently sitting top three in the top league, so ime happy enough on that for now, i would have bit the hand off some if we had been offered this two seasons ago, its going to take time maybe another season or two before we honestly start thinking about the league tittle, but it will happen imho, i just wish some of our support would show a bit of patience.

Brentford didn't "get rid of him". He didn't sign a new contract due to a change in scouting that he didn't agree with, Brentford wanted him to stay, so did most of the fans too.

Brentford sign their players based on stats and Warburton didn't want to work that way that's why he left.

07 Nov 2016 10:53:17
Which is just as well for Brentford given his "success" in the market.

I don't think we should be getting rid of a manager just because we are having a bit of hard time but maybe we should put banners up saying 4-3-3 doesn't work. as it doesn't then maybe he will listen to the fans.
as I've said all year we will still dinish second and get into Europe and as for investment we won't get that until the fat rat is away.

Thepoetic, because Rodgers is amazing in the transfer market. Liverpool fans cry themselves to sleep with the amount of money he spent on wasted players. Warburton however has been successful to an extent, Gray, Odubajo, Tarkowski, Dallas, Grigg, Forshaw.

False equivalency aka the Rangers fans only hope.

Side note, how are those players you mentioned doing for Rangers this season?

07 Nov 2016 12:14:40
Warburton hasn't been that bad at Rangers with his Transfers. O'hal is coming onto a game, garner always puts a shift in, Windass and Holt are the best 130k Rangers have ever spent. Rossiter looks like a cracking player, Halliday on a free is good business too. What transfers (minus that of Barton) haven't worked?

07 Nov 2016 12:34:35
Rossiter gets better every game he doesn't play.

And you're correct, Halliday would walk into most Scottish championship teams. Windass is decent but he isn't anywhere near the level most Rangers fans think, although to be fair he's being compared with Holt, Halliday and the like so it's not ridiculous that he stands out.

The only thing more shocking than Barton getting 20k a week to train with the development squad, is paying nearly two million for Joe Garnee to train with the first team squad.

The straws you are clutching are admirable.

If your manager had (half) a clue, he could have bought Henmings, Stewart, Crawford and Alston for the cost of Joe Garner, and he'd still have had change to buy an SPFL level Centre Back. He's recruited poorly and denying the fact doesn't help you. Truth is, you're only fooling yourself.

Really sensible for a Tim I'm gutted but actually couldn't agree more.
