If it were not for my love of the Glasgow Rangers, I would stop banging my head against a brick wall.
Simple facts:
1. We are not good enough to challenge the eastenders.
2. If by some miracle we manage to achieve a place in Europe, we would last one game.
3. We will not have any "real" investment for at least two years and that is all going well. Who, apart from those with blue tinted glasses would put more than two bob into Rangers.
4. MW has an impossible job and, unfortunately, he is not the man for the job. He has this masterplan of how to play football, but it does not work against the big boys, and we haven't reached that stage yet.
5. DK is not the answer, but is there one? Maybe the big black hole that we are in, is where we will stay.
6. I lived through the 60's and 70's and we were on the receiving end of some real doings, but there was always light at the end of the tunnel, show me that now.
7. Finally, MW has been given a reasonable budget, considering our situation, but I look for some of our support to tell me why MOH and Garner don't get a run, and why certain players, although not performing, are guaranteed a game. We need changes and we need them now.

I think mw will have to go back to original signing policy young hungry players with something to prove. Most fans must agree surely that the football we play is night and day to watching macoists team a boot up the park to big Daly. I don't like it either him playing favs i agree on that but people on here saying Walter or macoll would do better really? macoll is the guy who was asked to get us over the line in championship and we took a 6-1 agg defeat. Walter wouldn't want it he wouldn't get money to spend and that's what the big problem is we need investment.

Billyb try partition walls they are softer and when you put a hole in one plasterboard is cheap.
1. agreed but I for one never thought we would finish ahead of Celtic this year
2. If we do get Europe i believe we would see investment in the team.
3. See answer 2 and I think we will invest a little in Jam.
4. Agreed tough job and to play how he wants we need far better, technical, players.
5. DK is the only show in town and at least he cares.
6. I wasn't born till the 80's but I see light from 2 years ago almost blinding light.
7. Even our enemies must admit we have been unlucky with injuries, with some of our signings this is partly self inflicted, Rossiter for one has been sorely missed.
I truly believe we can still finish second.

Like yourself billyb I started going to games in the sixties so we have known the same good and bad times. I agree with all you say, MW for me could make a good manager but his tactics at times and signings must be questioned. DK does not have the financial clout to take Rangers to the top but the present board should be commended from rescuing us from the last regime. The road back to the top could be longer and rockier than we imagined.

You raise some good points and this is new experience for most of us having to deal with knowing so early in a season we will not win the league and admitting we're 2nd best to Celtic. I think Warburton can be the right man and King too and the idea of fit and in form Kranjcar and Barton would have given us a chance to compete. If Garner wasn't seen as a better player than Miller he shouldn't have been bought and Hardie could have played that role. I say there's the managerial weakness of favouritism at play with " Barrie, Kenny, Waggy " but then again there are posters here who'd like Miller playing till he's 40 and we read his fans ravings every day. O'Halloran has never really been given a fair crack of the whip and his confidence is probably now shot. I don't know how many changes can be made to the team because too many brought in arrived injured or get injured at Murray Park.

WE HAVE BEEN UNLUCKY WITH A COUPLE OF RESULTS AND WE HAVE STARTED THE SEASON IN TERRIBLE FASHOIN .
however there is a long way to go and the players like MOH and rossiter forrester and crooks aswell as dodo will I think be given a chance and will come good.
dodo for me scared way too easily to be playing regularly up here but hope he can prove me wrong i'm still confident with the players we have we will finish second and that has to be a success at the first time back.
