Ed, as you know there is quite a lot of rangers supporters on here, wanting derek mciness to replace mark warburton as the new rangers manager. I'm a big fan of warburton myself and think he should be given a lot more time in his total rebuilding job of our football club. Regarding mciness, i think he's an ok manager, nothing at all special, imo not the man to be the next rangers manager whenever that position comes up. Where do you stand regarding derek mciness ed, do you rate him highly as a manager and a future glasgow rangers manager?
{Ed039's Note - I think McInnes has done a cracking job at Aberdeen, but I am also of the opinion that the talk of Warburton getting the sack is ludicrous, but I would encourage him to go back to his original signing policy, players of a decent age who have maybe lost their way a little and have something to prove rather than some of the drivel we have seen arrive since June this year)

Agree with the ed %100.
I don't think there's any manager that could guarantee success at Ibrox in the short term. For me we were lucky to get Warburton and we'd be mental to get rid of him just now. We have a tendancy to heap pressure onto ourselves in these situations and i constantly hear "the rangers way" being passed to suggest we have a god given right to beat every team in this league, we dont. We have to earn our place back up there and every team along the way is going to dig in and make it difficult.
