After the recent 'I'm Scottish but don't support Scotland' debate (if you can call it a debate) I would just like to say that I feel sorry for those who don't get goosebumps and chills when they sing Flower of Scotland. What a chant. Makes me feel all stoneage and rebilious. Feel like grabbing a kitchen knife and marching doon to York. Hahahaha. Come on lads, get in touch with your roots. Read a bit of history. Shake off that Stockholme syndrome and sing.

Still like to see Scotland win. But going to watch a team with SFA on their badge is a little difficult after what's happened to our club the last few years.
If the next manager is Scottish then you can imagine McAllister and McGhee being in with a shout which is quite something.

I don't have a patriotic or nationalistic bone on my body. As far as I am concerned my allegiance is to my friends and family, not a nation. From my experience I would say Nationalism and Patriotism are tools used by states and other bodies, to influence people's actions on their behalf. If you want to buy into that guff I can't stop you buy I won't be joining you on the journey.

Have to agree as much as i disagree with some of the pants that went on with thw sfa i love the anthem and ultra proud scot, watched the game here in england last night staying at lake district and what a laugh i had with the guys at the bar, they knew they wouldn't turn up and i knew we would somehow mess up so all good.

Montypiefan , i support scotland in every other sport bar football. the steven hendries / andy murrays, ricky burns etc. i'm more than proud to put when abroad to let people know i'm scottish, not english. its the way the sfa, have treated there most succesful team that has me boycotting the national team.
I'm proud to be a scot until it comes to football, and my attitude on this won't stop until we have total change in the sfa, they have not got a clue. look at our ratings, look how we compare to other small nations. they are on the rise while we tumble downwards.
It's no wonder Uefa are trying to change there format. they know we won't bring competition to there tournaments. we are not good enough, there needs to be a shake up like no other.
Get people that know what they are doing (maybe ex players) to go and watch how other nations are climbing the rankings, how they are reaching pupils in schools teaching them at training how to play the modern game. the subject is a big debate, and the people running the game in our nation have not got a clue. that's not even an opinion, that's a fact.

It's the people in charge of the SFA that you're angry at. They are finite and won't last forever. The SFA and the national team will live on. Protest the people. Not the entity. Remember it's our SFA, the fans, the numpties that run it won't last forever.

The same mate was belting out flower of Scotland in ma living room last night my 2 wee boys looking at me like I was a weirdo lol, as for the sfa thing we had to take a punishment or it would have looked like the biggest conspiracy ever, the tims would never have let us hear the end of it, personally said at the time I'd have happily started in bottom league to ensure we still had a club to support.

Mallythetally, the s.f.a. had us as guilty before we got near court rooms, all they had to do was wait until all aspects of our fiction debt was looked into, but no they tried to finish us completely. this was done to benefit one mainly to help one club imho.
it was also to benefit smaller clubs like aberdeen, dundee utd, clubs that thought they would benefit them getting in europa league, and we all seen how that worked out eh. do you honestly think if real madrid / man utd clubs fell on hard times there governing bodies wouldn't have stepped in and tried to help them?
look at the state of our national team, our clubs having to play as many qualifiers, due to Scottish football going down the pan basically. until this country (sfa) get there act together we will tumble down and down. players won't want to come to play in our country because we are going backwards.
the s.f.a, are only interested in there wages for fecking up scottish football. i remember the good times when scottish clubs done well in europe; the aberdeens/ dundee utd/ celtic/ and rangers teams doing more than enough in europe. where have those great days gone? no scottish club has a hope of ever reaching a euro final again. the clubs i've mentioned should have built on their success, but they never, why not?

Bigjoh, the sfa are tosser a but, they were following the rules, as they did with airdrie, livingstone and Gretna.
It was the people that ran your club into oblivion you should be angry at, not the ones enforcing the rules.

Dishco squad, i don't know if your post about not being missed, if so i love scotland, im born and bred glasweigen (easterhouse all my 60 years on this earth) its the current s. f. a. that do my nut in, rules they make up as the grow old, I've got too many gripes with them to list them all, they have not got a clue in what they are trying to do, imho.
