The 4-3-3 formation (if you haven't got the right players to play it) is quite easy to disrupt/ counter.
Play in a high line and ensure the "heart" of the formation Barton is harried constantly, furthermore unfortunately for Rangers's CHs this passing ethos does not come naturally.
Today v Ross County, Rangers need pace as an "out", hope to see MOH in the line-up.

Think we need to freshen things a little today I would drop Wallace on recent form but with the whole Barton scenario I think need to leave the skipper in just to steady the ship!

imo the reason your conceding is your full backs get caught out of possesion in the opponents third and you have no pace with your central pairing, a blind man could see it, time to move wallace in one, your 3 in mid should include windass as he is your outball, be interesting to see if your mid plays better without barton tbh.

No chance in a month of Sundays Wallace is a CB, he needs to concentrate more on being a captain. I definitely think he's been abit overawed and intimidated with the arrival of Barton maybe even undermined you could say. i always hope Rangers win but i REALLY hope they win with a few today so its harder for Barton to get back in.

yeah i understand that about wallace Blue but he's got to be better than Hill and keirnan, also gives your other lefty a chance to show if he's got it imo, you might have a point about overawed etc about barton and if that's the case should he be captain?

I would leave Wallace at left back, Wilson and the young guy on loan from raith at centre back, if warbs wants to see if he's got what it takes then give him a game.

I don't think wallace is captain material never has been but then again i don't think we have a typical captain in our team. it takes me back when Ferguson got the captaincy at 22yrs old and he would litterally be screaming at guys like caniggia, de boer, numan etc. egos and reputations shouldn't mean a jot and they didn't to ferguson but for me wallace looks intimidated.
