Here's a wee poser to all fellow bears on here, michael o'halloran v harry forrester, who should play on the right hand side of our forward line between these two? Who do you rate the better all round player between the two and which one should play in our starting 11?

I rate Forrester higher than MOH to be honest. I do like how MOH plays but he seems to be missing the desire that Forrester shows.

HF every day of the week and twice on a Sunday.
MO all he has is speed and defenders against us sit deep so can't use speed to get in behind him. IMO MO was and always will be a waste of money.

I've openly criticised MOH on here before, however. The past few games I've actually been quite impressed. He's ran the channels well and some of his delivery shave been good. Also watch a piece on Rangers TV about him and he seemed really down to earth and if truth be told my opinion of him has changed. I really like Forrester however. I think he has a certain attitude or swag about him I haven't seen since Laudrup (not comparing them as players because Laudrup IMO is the greatest ever Ranger)

Given the opportunity, I'd actually play both of them! Forrester on the left, MOH on the right with McKay in the hole. My team for Dens would be

Wes

Wallace
Hill
Kiernan (Wilson if available)
Tavernier

Rossiter (sitting)
Barton
Forrster
McKay
MOH

Dodoo

Reluctantly I'd drop Kranjcar due to he's a luxury player and given we need the 3 points I think we need more grafting players.

Come the hour I'd bring Kranjcar and Miller on.

Given that Hemmings and Stewart have left, I really don't think we have much to fear!

HOH for me power running and very direct. I would actually put Forrester in the 3 man midfield on percent form alongside Barton and Rossiter.

Agree with you there Rafbob. I think MOH is lacking in confidence. Forester however is a cocky wee bugger and he oozes confidence. Once MOH gets a few more games under his belt he will come good.

MOH has the better pace by far but his final ball is very lacking. Forrester is much more effective in this regard. If MOH can add a final ball to his game then he will be a very good player for us.

MOH is strong and quick, Forrester takes on defenders and can score goals. I would drop McKay and play both these guys. McKay was very poor against Hamilton and he always has to check and cut back!

Forrester for me but reckon with the quality we have in those positions we can chop and change and whoever playing should be switching flanks throughout games! Everyone will get a chance.

Harry Forrester MOH blows hot and cold needs to get himself sorted out been with us half a season now!

I've never rated moh but the past few games he has started to change my mind, he hasn't been great but he looks like he's trying and is showing that maybe just maybe there is actually a footballer there.

It's hard to say oh has not played at his best since joining Rangers but does show at times he could be a good player for us
Forrester has a lot of potential but got injured that's slowed his progress down but also at times his finishing could be better.

12 Aug 2016 22:04:54
Forrester has more invention and incisiveness.

Never mind our forward line. forrester got shout for right sided mid as likes the tackle. both him an ohalloran interchanging. defences wouldn't know who to mark then turn of pace and we in.
