Hearts and Hibs out of Europe though Aberdeen won. Still, added to Septic's humiliation in Gibraltar not a good week or so for Scottish club football. Let's hope we can get back into Europe next season and perform well. I think the Europa League would have been too soon for us this season and we too could have suffered an embarrassing defeat.

Agree a poor set of results for Scotland. Don’t agree we would have risked an embarrassing result. Thought Hibs were probably better side than Brondby in both legs. Henderson out I think weakens Hibs from last season and we are stronger.

Maybe just me, but I lapped up last night! Hearts and Hibs fans giving it the big talk look like muppets now.

As for Scottish football. Well at club level at least, Scottish football can suck my wee, ginger choad! I stopped caring when they opted to put the boot in.

Club level only mind. Will always be passionate for the national side.

I'm 100% behind you Iwdawson, they will probably say, "at least we were there" so what? what's the point of being in Europe when you're out before the end of July lol the other 2 Scottish teams won't get into their respective group stages either.

22 Jul 2016 08:03:49
Well we might not be getting Champions League or Europa League next season if Scottish teams don't start improving.

22 Jul 2016 09:27:53
Poor old Lemon has had great start at Hibs, not. lol.

22 Jul 2016 09:53:59
I used to wish Scottish teams the best in Europe, except Celtic obviously.

Not now though. They have never and will never wish us the best in any of our endeavours.

Why should we take the moral high ground?

22 Jul 2016 10:34:28
Couldn't give a flying f*** about the coefficient. Get them all out as quick as possible. We will take our chances next season and I reckon we'll surprise a few folk. Couldn't be any worse mind you when you look at some of the results Scottish teams have had against mighty teams from Latvia and Lithuania as well as the likes of Molde, Warsaw and Maribor. Oh and not forgetting the red Imps! Har Har har!

22 Jul 2016 11:16:02
Terrible results last night, particularly Hearts, does the Scottish game no good whatsoever. Assume this also means Hearts have no competitive action until opening SPL fixture against Celtic more than 2 weeks away.

22 Jul 2016 11:24:25
To hell with the lot of them, I couldn't care less about one Club in Scotland bar Rangers anymore. Never used to be the case but since we went down we've had everybody and their dog sticking the boot into us.
I selfishly hope Celtic get pumped and dumped into the Europa, as I think it will help us with the league. Either way it will be good to wipe the remaining smiles off all Hearts, Aberdeen and Celtic fans' faces when we come back for our title. 55.

Rather limited and narrow minded there (again) recbob.

Their failings do effect us wether you like it or not- means we will get tougher draws at earlier stages and considering our team has no European experience that can only be a problem.

Personally I think if a team gets knocked out at this stage by a team from Malta they should not be allowed to represent Scottish football the next year. Hibs lost to a much better team but it's an outrage they even got to play in Europe after cup final disgrace.

22 Jul 2016 15:54:01
In reality we should be wishing all Scottish teams including Celtic the best in Europe remember there performances effect our coefficient. European football is embarrassing for us as a country we can't qualify at club or international level.

23 Jul 2016 08:24:19
Recbob, we didn't go down we started again. A man of your intelligence must know there is no mechanism in Scottish football for demoting a club from being 2nd in the top tier to the bottom league.
