I wasn't fortunate enough to have lived through some of the great era's of Rangers (I'm only 20) but I've never been more excited about a season.

All we can do now is show the board we back them. Fill Ibrox and away every week and back the team. Remember we are the only key income our club has and we need to support them now more than ever. There will be difficult times to come but only as a support can we get ourselves back to the top for 55.

RossW I'm 25 seen some good times and great European nights. Seen the worst time for our club. I have a son on the way and when he will moan about a result not going our way Ill be able to tell him that he doesn't know what bad times are.

Well said young man

We have put together a great squad, I have a really good feeling about us this year. I see no team to fear, no better squad, no better manager, no better style of play, full house at Ibrox every week, strong away support, Selik are a mess and their manager will leave a lot to be desired. I think the league is ours for the taking.

To win it first year back would top all leagues previously won!

Celtic are not a mess, let's not get over excited by their result the other night, let's face it, it might even get Rodgers more money to spend on new players, but I don't fear them or any other team in the league, roll on August the 6th, I can't wait. 🏆
Their result on Tuesday gives us a small payback about us not performing that great against part time teams a couple of years ago, but I fully expect Celtic to beat them at parkhead about 6 or 7 nil, but I don't care about them but one thing I do care about is hopefully they don't make the group stages of the cl, but that's just because I don't want them to get the 15m that comes with making the group stages.

I agree with all of the above. I grew up through 9 in a row and have obviously seen the worst. This team will take away all that pain of the last few years, even last years team eradicated a good bit of it for me. Not winning the Championship or the Petrofac, but the style. Reminded me of the Advocaat era but was put together on a shoestring. This years the same, just great management from board level down to the tea ladies! Can't say I've ever been more excited than this for a season.
On a side note, I was saying after the final that missing out on Europe this year was a blessing in disguise because we wouldn't be able to cope, but I'm seriously doubting that now a would love to have seen this squad in the Europa. Would have faired better than that other muck we've witnessed this week. In saying that though If they somehow scrape through this round and end up in the Europa, after being humiliated in the next round it could be a good leveller in the title race. I actually hope Celtic, Aberdeen and Hearts get through, would only benefit us in the league and next years coefficient, but if they get beat I will still laugh.

DelBoy you sure your not an offspring from Brendan Rodger, Selick are a mess, they have a lot of dead wood, a lot of foreigners that don't fit, to big a squad, miss mash of players, don't have a philosophy in place, manager has to ship players in and out and then try mould them into a team that works. That will not be done over night that will take 2 windows at least.

all while we are on the up and up, we have got a great core from last year and we have added quality experience and numbers along with some more promising young players.

our attack is fast young and hungry, our midfield has the bite that we missed and our defence has height and leaders at the back now, add one more defender in and we are sorted.

Selick should be very worried because they have messed up in a big way and we are going to reap the benefits. they should b light years ahead and instead they have regressed while we have progressed and I would say that we are in a better position than them now.

But this is only my opinion. will be shown over the course of the season I suppose.

I think the difference is there for all to see. Most Rangers fans are ecstatic about pretty much every player in our team. Maybe the goalkeeper, RB and choice of CB still split opinion but I would imagine most of us could name several starting 11's we'd be happy to go with against them, all with strong benches.
Have a look at the Celtic pages (I must admit I've been on there this week for pure comedy factor, I don't post) they hate their team/ squad bar a few players. If they come on here their full of bravado but secretly to themselves they hate nearly every player in the team. Now they seem to be pinning there hopes on Liam Hemderson 😂 Was the 5th best player for Hibs last year.
If we mange to get Dodoo and someone of Marriappa's quality in we will win the league imo. Without them I'd still fancy our chances with what we've got. Obviously they've still to strengthen but it's an overhaul they're needing and I don't think Rodgers is capable of it before the season starts.

Well said delboy- it's good to read posts from SENSIBLE fellow gers fans. Have to laugh at the poster who has bitten back at you- perhaps he's missed his meds this morning?

The future looks bright but let's all be realistic and acknowledge that the journey continues and we still have far to go.

Imps beating Celtic was hilarious but it doesn't change the fact that in Scotland they are team to beat- honestly guys have you not seen how teams in spl roll over and show less than half the fight against Celtic that the imps showed.

Delboy is spot on saying they will win 2nd leg and we should all be hoping they will fail in one of next two rounds. Them getting 15m plus for reaching group stage would only make them harder to catch- have you not noticed we have no cash?
