Joseph dodoo 3 first team games for leicester 1 in PL and 2 in league cup scored 4 goals looks a tidy wee player and can finish if he comes he could do well and sell him on in few yrs time for a profit . exactly what rangers should be doing . these young lads need a chance even the top players started somewhere.

Agree2 Disagree1

If Onyewu had been offered a deal, our last two signings in positions we all know we need regular established players in being CB and ST would have been, Dodoo from Leicester and Onyewu.

We can be as supportive of the club and of Warburton as we want but be honest did we ever think this would have been the way we were going?

Fair enough having a plan B and C and D but this is ridiculous. If this is the lad being brought in to lead our attack then we're up the creek.

I agree I think we need better quality in those positions and if we do sign the guy from Leicester then we are way short of the quality needed. We would have 4 strikers none who have been prolific. 2 would be young guys who have no experience scoring at that level, Miller is getting on and won't score a lot of goals and Waghorn will need to prove himself at a level a step up from last season. Compared to the 2 main strikers Celtic have we are miles behind them.

Bringing joseph dodoo to rangers ain't no panic move, our management team and our chief scout frank mcparland have undoubtedly been watching this young forward for a period of time, he's very highly thought of at leicester and ranieri has actually offered him a new contract, there's even suggestions that dodoo will sign a new contract with leicester and go out on loan for a season to possibly us although there's a good few english championship clubs that have also made a move to possibly get him on loan.

Every time MW has been interviewed he's decided we need one more forward and one more centre back.

You can be as high in the sky in terms of praise and support for Warburton and Co and every fan feels that way, for now.

But a forward such as Dodoo being our last forward signed in this window is no use what so ever, any way you like to spin it. Strap for cash, young striker with bags of potential, offered a contract at the Premiership Champions and so fourth.

Replacing the Templeton, King, Oduwa role, fine, terrific signing but can see this being the last forward signed. If so, no one can make an argument for this.

Agree w15 any player coming to us would have been sounded out long before they get here, I'd still guess that we could bring another striker in as this is probably Miller's last season and are looking well set for the future! I'm buzzing for the season to start.

I'm thinking that JD will turn out to be a very good footballer. I'd be happy with us signing him.
