See the people on here moaning about bartons comments saying he's showing scottish football and scottish players a lack of respect so what scottish football has been sticking it into rangers for the past 4 years remember these are the clubs who voted us down and kick us when we were down over and over again so good on barton we are back with a bang and he's showing the spirit we need and i for one am glad of it.

I agree Cee he is box office. I think he says things so that it gives him extra motivation to prove it to be honest, he's that type of character. There's probably been more interest in him signing than there has been in Celtic winning 5 in a row, that's what kills them.
Our management team and Board knew exactly what they were doing bringing him in. They get a great player, a leader, and they increase the attention in our game ten fold. It's a win win. People keep saying he'll get sent off, but I think he may surprise a few people who never seen him last year with his new found discipline. He'll win us more free kicks than he concedes, everyone will be out to get him.
One of the papers were comparing his and Browns stats, on this occasion they definetly didn't tell the complete story. Barton is one of the most colourful characters in the game, Brown is one the most, well Brownest.

Listen not everybody likes it when players speak out in the papers, but what joey says is what he believes, he believes he's coming up to be the best player in Scotland, and he's right on rodgers not winning anything, I can't wait to see joey in a gers top, roll on pre-season.

Its all about the Rangers, Barton's clearly not caring or worrying about any other player in the premiership, he's bigging himself up and some people will think he's being cocky, but the guy is just simply being very confident ;)

You'd think that you's would be celebrating winning 5 in a row new boy (although to be fair they were all tainted) , instead your creeping about a Rangers site making pointless comments. Is being a Celtic fan really that boring?
You's should be thankful we're adding a bit of glamour to the SPFL after what you's have had to sit through the last 4years (to be fair again though most of you's didn't, did you? )

New boy we were voted down but now we r back rangers fans don't only sell out ibrox seems we r helping sellout celtic park aswel but brendan is a decent excuse for that and yous kinda have an excuse for watching our games now we are back in the spl.
