Scotland manager Gordon Strachan will not risk throwing inexperienced players into tonight's friendly with France.

Barry Mckay might as well not have been selected for these games?

No rangers players should even consider playing for that mob, mon germany.

Stuzo that is crap Scotland is our country but I would say not to play for Strachan as he is not interested in playing rangers players but his arrogance especially when things are not going his way will always shine through and be his undoing so Wallace, Mackay, Holt and anyone else from rangers should just wait because when the post mortem on his stint as Scotland manager is carried out, playing and not playing certain players will always come into it.

Ffs It's a friendly game surely this is when you field your inexperienced squad players to see how they react, if this is true then every new call up should aswell chuck in the towel right now as long as wee Fanta pants is in charge, or are you speculating? Who knows what wee ginger balls thinks.

If Strachan can not play fresh blood in a friendly well do you do it?

If he plays the same old faces and loses its time for Strachan to leave. I don't expect us to win, but to lose with the old guard would be a complete waste of time. Strachan started off well enough but has been shocking for the last 7 or so games, bad team selections time after time. It's about time we had a manager who can work with what we have AND be positive with it. Stop greetin about not havin a Bale and perhaps start playing players like McKay and Gauld!

Stuzo any of our players playing internationaly can only be good for rangers as any future transfer we can command a higher fee due to the player being an international as price always higher for international players.

Due to the fact we aren't in the euros I believe we should be blooding the younger lads that will most likely be used for the world cup qualifications. The old guard shouldn't be used in these matches, it's embarrassing sending the youth with them for them to not get game time. Also I reckon Mckay, Ritchie and Phillips in the midfield would work nicely in a 4-2-3-1 formation, but then again what do I know.

Stuzo its france our country is playing in the friendly tonight, not germany mate, try supporting your own country, I don't like the sfa etc either but I support my national team as its a separate issue, rangers players will be playing for scotland so let's support them and our country.

Who cares who he picks or doesn't pick he is a dead man walking and will be out the door once we don't qualify for the World Cup.

Im sick of listening to Strachan speak. The quicker he goes the better. He made us marginally better than the mess Levien left us in but in my opinion has actually took us back to that level again. How can he say that it would be detrimental to Mckays progress to play against France. I've never heard anything so silly in all my life. If a player has played well enough to gain a call up surely playing them is the natural step to take, even just for a cameo at the end. The Italy game was crying out for the wee mans pace and trickery at the end.
I've never been a massive fan of the national team but I still always wanted us to win. Now I couldn't care less to be honest.
