What do fellow bears think abt setting up an account for any fans fined for being on the pitch on Saturday trying to protect our own I personally would contribute and don't care what anybody says i for 1 would've been on pitch but had my young son with me I've never been so angry in all ma life.

{Ed039's Note - There is already such a thing)

I think that idea is utterly preposterous. There was no excuse for Rangers' fans being on the pitch. Those that did made their own choice and should take the consequences.

Sorry - I love the club but cannot defend supporters who let the club down. There will be posters who disagree and consider the actions by the few who went on as being honourable. I'm not one of them.

need to stop all this nonsense about going on pitch to defend players, most of the Rangers fans who came on the park were just on to cause trouble. not stop it!

we need to stop making these hooligans, out to be super hero`s.

their thugs the club could well do without.

Probably in the minority here, but any fan who was on that pitch should be banned indefinitely. This nonsense that they were 'protecting' the players is embarrassing. Funny how majority of those seen were wearing what some would call casual attire. Who knows, perhaps there was even an agreement before the match.

The Hibs fans should never have been on the pitch either, but two wrongs don't make a right. There were some assaults in varying degrees of seriousness, but I don't think the players were getting launched all over the place. My opinion, but a small number of Rangers fans have let the majority down again.

Out of interest, why ask opinions when you say you 'don't care what anybody says'?

Ya the gers fans who went on the pitch were not provoked by hibs supporters! If hibs fans hadn't gotten on to the pitch nothing would of happened. Let's get something straight rangers fans didn't cause the trouble. Ya the fans shouldn't of reacted. Did hundreds of rangers fans get on the pitch after the old firm match. NO! Hibs fans were entirely to blame for the trouble that followed the match.

26 May 2016 21:17:52
There are security and police for that reason. No need for any fan on the pitch, it just adds fuel to the fire that people are happy to burn under our club.

27 May 2016 00:13:26
Want to know when and what will happen to Hibs! The fine better be strong enough, you get about 60k prize money for winning cup so we'll see what they get as for bans I hope it happens but won't hold my breath would luv to see their Euro place givin to St Johnstone as I don't think we'd get it?

27 May 2016 00:45:43
It is wrong to be seen to support those Rangers fans that went on the pitch even though I can fully sympathise with them given the goading they took from the Hibs fans. Of course if some hadn't gone on to the pitch no one knows whether the Hibernian Hooligans would have come into the stands to attack Rangers fans including women and children.

For me, anyone irrespective of which team that went into the park and became involved in fighting should be banned from all football.

More important, Hibs must be banned from the Scottish Cup, it should be recommended by the SFA to European Football Authorities that Hibs are replaced by St Johnstone as Scotland's representative in the UEFA Cup and Hibs should be fined. Will any of this happen, probably not, and that will just prove what a lot of us suspect and that sadly will guarantee that something much worse will happen.

27 May 2016 08:43:24
If the police had done their job properly the hibs thugs wouldn't have got so far up the pitch and the Gers fans wouldn't have gone on.

Ed's right, Vanguard Bears have set up a fund trying to raise £1,690 or something. Embarrassing if you ask me.
