OK after much soul searching and a sleepless night I have to ask the forum
We were poor yesterday (and have been so for the last 2months apart from celtic game) and complete rebuild needed with so many players leaving. I think we need about 6 not including the 3 new lads already signed
Now free agents won't fill the void so will king come up with some money real money?

Well put it this way if he doesn't mw will take the first job offered down south. The look on his face yesterday after the pitch invasion and the assaults on his players I wouldn't be surprised if he left. king not getting his wallet out will hasten his departure. He has been clear he wants players in before pre-season starts so we won't have to wait long to find out.

Looking at our bench yesterday it was going to be hard to change the game, definitely missed big ball, zelalem is good on the ball but couldn't tackle a fish supper, our defending of corners has been terrible all season and needs to be attended to by signing good defenders which I'm sure the manager will also our failure to score from corners is concerning aswell, eg away game against alloa which we drew we had 23 corners, but now that the dust has settled if I was told at the beginning of the season we would win the league and beat Celtic I would have been happy with that, the players put the tools away after the semi and that was disappointing, but in the light of the day were are in a much better place than this time last year, so let's trust the manager in sure he will do the right things and bring in the right staff to do us proud next season.

Doubt King will spend more than the bare minimum required and in all probability Celtic will massively outspend us. Saying that we know Warbs spends wisely.

As for this season as a whole. Much improved, just think back a year to when we were being humiliated by a poor Motherwell side.

A cup win would have been sweet - and I did have a tenner on us at 9/ 1 so am doubly gutted about yesterday but since we beat Celtic in the semi, at least we had a very enjoyable campaign.

Mullad I am grateful for what David King has done for the club but in all honesty I don't think the guy has the "real money".

For Rangers to compete they must find investment from the right investors who are willing to dig deep. There are investors out there with interest in football and it's up to the club to sell themselves the best it can.

I don't think it's about money as such, just getting the right players in will do me. There are plenty players to be found without massive transfer fees. I'm sure MW has his transfer targets lined up, and getting beat in a one off game won't change that.
This squad was put together to win the championship. They did that and now a squad will be put together to challenge for the title. It can be added to in January as well if it's falling short.
I personally don't want huge outlays for players, we've been down that route. As long as the manager gets his targets I'll be happy as I trust his judgement.
Maybe Rodgers will get £15m but that doesn't worry me, he blew £250m at Liverpool to replace Suarez and left them in 9th in the league. Klopp took the same team to a Europa league final.
As for saying the Manager will leave, that is ludicrous. He lost a final, it happens. DW was in the paper 2 days ago says my the two of them are 100% committed and are here for the long haul. People need to calm down.
I injuries, suspensions and players being Cup tied derailed the season a bit at the end, but it was still a great season from a good bunch of players. They've all played a lot games this year and gave everything for the jersey.

we have only ourselves to blame the talk of bar signing
then the manky mob announce 45k a week for a new manager
with a budget of 20 mill desmond certainly put king in his
place and stubbs showed the magic hat how to motivate.

Recbob yip mate i couldn't have put it better myself, though ime sometimes partial to blowing the fuse when some of our own supporters can't see this for themselfs, so well done mate, brill.

I'm sure these investors would rather put their money in down south where there is mad money to be made. Who is going to put real money in to Scotland without the guarantee of CL football? The 3 qualifying rounds aren't a given as seen across the city.

Yesterday should remind everyone it's still early days in this rebuild. remember where we came from since 2012? We have come such a long way and we should recognise our achievements, not turn on what are for the most part young players .

We cannot simply expect to win by turning up for a match and predict we will win by this or that, that's where complacency comes from. We will without doubt, have many more trophies and achievements under MW and DW . See the result for what it was and move on, it was a cup final we've won many and lost some too . Get behind what we have started and look forward to a bright future, who cares what other teams do -We are Rangers!
