Heard some devastating news today about SG, he has a get out clause after one season and is seriously going to use it he was promised a transfer budget of 15 million which never materialised and behind the scenes he is one angry man about being deceived, he himself does not like the all the loan signing scenario and he is wanting away at the end of the season no matter the outcome, the man is incensed about being lied to about budget by certain members of the board and I think we know who that will be, my source is extremely reliable and is very close to the Rangers heirachy and I don't care if anyone believes me or not, but it's a very disturbing piece of information.

1.) 26 Jul 2018 13:23:22
Your right! I don’t believe you!

2.) 26 Jul 2018 13:27:35
Don’t think he’d be signing players on long contracts if he was planning on leaving after one season, sounds like pure bullshit to me .

3.) 26 Jul 2018 13:30:23
“They have been superb, they have done exactly what they says they would when we spoke before I got the job. So yeah, really happy with the support. ”

Direct quote from Gerrard when asked about the board backing him the other week.

4.) 26 Jul 2018 13:30:33
transfer windows got 5 weeks left, how do you know there isn't money left.

5.) 26 Jul 2018 13:32:04
Seriously anything like that would be picked up by mainstream press, no way a story of that magnitude gets by them and do you honestly believe SG and his advisors are so naive that they take someone at face value saying yes we've got 15m for you
There is more of a whiff of Timothy story telling here.

6.) 26 Jul 2018 13:49:49
Talk of that boy from Man City signing today and with wages and signing on fees £2.5 mill, how much on the tie defenders? 3.5 mill. Even he loans and frees IF he was promised 15mill takes into account wages etc as well. When he’s done he probably won’t be far short of 10-15 mill.

7.) 26 Jul 2018 14:01:38
oh timmy . you really do need to get a life

still obsessed since 1888
😂.

8.) 26 Jul 2018 14:08:08
This is just utter bollocks, i'm on my lunch break and genuineley don't have the time to tear this rumour to pieces, anyone who actually believes this is crackers.

9.) 26 Jul 2018 14:11:18
OMG TOMMZZ You might have to add a few more zzzzzzzs after that comment 😁.

10.) 26 Jul 2018 14:53:54
Total bulls@#t steven gerrard knows exactly what he was getting into given time he will build a team suited to him.

11.) 26 Jul 2018 15:39:36
Tomnzz your source.

12.) 26 Jul 2018 15:47:31
I do love the 'business acumen' Gerrard gets attributed with.

'he'd never have signed up without proof' - and how do we know the guy is a smart savvy fellow? He's a recently retired footballer who was once hauled to court over a drunken assault and had never managed a day in his life before us!

This isn't someone who it appears holds a monopoly on 'business acumen' in football management. He's evidently not stupid, but to suggest 'Stevie knows what he's doing' by default is naivette of the most painful level.

13.) 26 Jul 2018 15:49:23
What a load of wash.

14.) 26 Jul 2018 16:28:02
am sure he cld still spot a decent cntr mid rfcrb.

business acumen or not.

15.) 26 Jul 2018 17:31:26
I smell something.

16.) 26 Jul 2018 18:32:45
This is worse than that Willo Flood rumour.

17.) 26 Jul 2018 18:33:49
True Trev, but spotting a player is a completely different thing!

18.) 26 Jul 2018 18:35:41
Crawl back under your rock on the dark side and stay with the unwashed. I'd worry more about an away goal conceded to Roseberg if I were you.

19.) 26 Jul 2018 19:09:18
Even if it was true there would be nothing stopping him quitting now, so that blows your rather childish story out of the water.

20.) 26 Jul 2018 19:09:28
Did ye. aye! 😂😂😂😂.

21.) 26 Jul 2018 19:12:49
anyone smell timmy.

22.) 26 Jul 2018 22:27:58
Pathetic.

23.) 26 Jul 2018 22:59:12
I am perplexed, what a load of pish.
What did you think you were achieving by posting utter mince.
If you believe that nonsense I worry for you in general.

24.) 27 Jul 2018 01:17:22
The DOF said we would be signing players right up until the end of August, qualification for the europa league has a big bearing on who we will bring in!

25.) 27 Jul 2018 01:44:38
Gerrard has spent about £6/ 7million already on fees, the loans aren’t free and even the “free” signings generally have a signing on fee for the players- so ball park figure, let’s say Stevie G has spent about £10/ 11million already! He’s secured 10 players all who he has stated he’s very pleased with. We have about 5weeks left before the transfer window closes where I’m sure we’ll add another 1 or 2 players which could take us beyond the £15million “reported” by this clown! Safe to say this rumour is utter bullshit and definitely came straight outta the mouth of one of the great unwashed- go back to selling sports socks at the barras manky person.

26.) 27 Jul 2018 09:30:50
Wasn’t manky person I typed🤣.

27.) 27 Jul 2018 15:03:45
How funny would it be if we signed Willo Flood!

22 Jan 2015 17:16:43

In my humble opinion the way every other ex Celtic player and anyone related to them rant on about this massive gap between the two is crap because rangers and just about every other team in the Scottish leagues have made Celtic look good they are by no manner of means that good either, put them up against one half decent team and there shown up every time, as for them trying to put Gerrard off or sway his decision has clearly got them rattled because they know that they will soon be toppled from there perch by a good team, how the mighty will fall and I for one will be laughing . Just an opinion from me.

1.) 03 May 2018 11:57:24
tom

cudnae care less what these jokers are saying

2.) 03 May 2018 23:02:08
The fact Tom that you're team has made Celtic look better than any team in this league should be your main concern IMO.

And as for SG. It wasn't that long ago youz were wearing bread wrappers on your heads! Fill yer boots

Hi there fellow bears . i said I wouldn't post on here again following the appointment of pedro but after hearing that Steve Mclaren was maybe being considered for the job I had to post, I believe if he gets the post it's another step in the wrong direction yet again by a bunch of no hopers who call themselves the board of Glasgow Rangers . Dave King and his cohorts should sell there shares and leave the jobs clearly too much for them, anyway rant over again and remember fellow bears it's just my opinion no need to get up in arms about it lol.

1.) 06 Nov 2017 09:17:28
Mclarens past track record does not instill any confidence to take us forward, and he will probably demand a salary well in excess of anything that McInnes would get offered if he was to become Rangers manager but presently it looks that we are not prepared to pay Aberdeen the compensation amount.
Hopefully the board will learn from past mistakes yes Pedro Caixinha.
Why don't we continue with Murty till the January transfer window and then reasses the managerial vacancy.
Only my thoughts but we don't want to make the wrong appointment.

03 Mar 2017 10:33:51
I said I wouldn't post on here again . but I feel if the Portuguese fellow is appointed then in my opinion I think we would be gifting another title to septic next year, I just think it's going to be Paul le guen all over again, I hope I'm wrong but I just think it's the wrong appointment, septic must laughing at us and really see how bad the rangers board is, it's a wonder anyone wants to come with that current board in charge, anyway rant over and I really hope I'm wrong.

tommzz

1.) 03 Mar 2017 12:46:43
If he gets the job, let him have a chance to prove himself. It may be that he is a failure, but at least allow him a chance. Who should the club appoint, in your opinion?

2.) 03 Mar 2017 13:00:26
Ultimately We know very little about him who so I can't really understand why people are automatically against his appointment. Personally reading up about him I think he could be good. He did his badges in Scotland, likes to develop and play young players, plays attacking football, keeps his backroom staff local to the club so he has people around him who know the club and traditions, supposed to be a great tactician and takes no nonsense from under preforming players. He looks pretty fiesty aswell so will be good entertainment. Just hope he can uncover a few gems and get the club bouncing again!

3.) 03 Mar 2017 15:03:26
@tommzz - after such a negative post time for you to retire again.

4.) 03 Mar 2017 14:44:34
Well I for one missed you. Please don't abandon us again I won't cope.

5.) 03 Mar 2017 15:08:55
Celtic have got the next 4 or 5 titles never mind next season!

I am open to Pedro. From what I have read he could be good for us. There is no guarantee that De Boer or anyone else would be anuy good either.

The boards position is crucial, the funds are essential and the DoF needs to be in place before any manager.

6.) 03 Mar 2017 15:15:30
Maybe we'll be laughing, what do they know anyway? Laughing is their permanent state anyway. We can't possibly ever get anything right according to them.

20 May 2016 19:56:47
Anyone thinking that other mob might go for joey Barton and try and lure him with the lure of champions league football and pay him more in wages than we can afford now that Brenda Rodgers has been appointed, please tell me I'm just being paranoid lol.

tommzz

1.) 20 May 2016 20:24:10
First time poster here. Looking forward to tomorrow quietly confident of a win I reckon hibs will be mentally drained following their oopsy daisy which will work in our favour. Would take Cummings in a minute warbs n weir will sort him out. As for the bold Brenda I think Dermot is flapping and this is just a ploy to get the numbers back up at parkhead he only finished second due to Suarez wouldn't worry about it and as for Barton if he signs brilliant if he doesn't who cares

2.) 20 May 2016 20:34:26
Their insecurities are so much that any player we are linked to they will bid for. Perfect example Scott Allan.

3.) 20 May 2016 21:03:28
tommzz i can't help but think the same thing lol, i guess we can only wait and see what happinz though, Barton is definitely a player i would love to see playin at Rangers, but if we don't manage to secure his signature, we'll just need to move onto the next target and i'm positive there will be many more targets Mw, Dw and Fm are lookin at, mon the gers.

4.) 20 May 2016 21:39:33
Aye they just might be tempted to go for Barton. I wouldn't be too disappointed tbh as I think the guy is a total ned and as such would be a good fit for them. No point in having a guy sitting in the stand at various points throughout the season. Also have to laugh at the timing of the announcement of their manager. As if that is going to deflect our attention tomorrow.

The Gers are in a cup final. I'm going for a 3-1 with wee Barrie giving the Edinburgh dhims a right old chasing. Btw I hope MW fills the bench. Even if he has to put a couple of the young lads there. Just think of the experience they will have.

5.) 20 May 2016 22:02:05
I couldn't care less who they employ in that role, it's what's on the pitch that counts.

B. Rodgers is a good manager but I think he will get bored of life at the methadome quickly after the first failure.

At least he will see a few old firm games.

6.) 21 May 2016 09:32:59
A 12 month rolling contract says it all. Either way they don't trust his ability or he don't believe they will support him in transfer market. He will be gone when we lift spl next season.

7.) 21 May 2016 10:39:49
Rolling contracts seem to be the Celtic way. Strachan was on one too.

03 Aug 2015 10:59:49
Just read there that the st mirren boss ian murray says hibs must be favourites to win the league, is it just me or is this man on a diffrent planet to us, he thinks this because hibs have the same team as last year and have more experience in the league, maybe its just me or i'm missing something but I think he, s s bit deluded.

tommzz

1.) 03 Aug 2015 11:26:01
Perfect noise up for Friday night, hopefully we show him who the real favourites to go up.

2.) 03 Aug 2015 11:41:20
mind games that's all

3.) 03 Aug 2015 13:01:34
I would have to agree that Hibs are favourites.
They have much the same squad as last season with a few additions.
We are still finding our feet and it's going to take time for us to gel properly.
I wouldn't take much notice of the cup game with Hibs. Although we won, we could easily have been 3 or 4 down before we scored.

4.) 03 Aug 2015 13:20:28
Hibs will not beat us to the title this year, infact I will call it now and say rangers will win by atleast 18 points.

5.) 03 Aug 2015 13:25:59
u maybe right but tell where goals will come from or players they have that will get u 20/25 goals a season cannae see it we have miller waghorn templeton law can all score we have fullback tavernier has 2 already danny wilson scored a few last season that's where I see hibs problem

6.) 03 Aug 2015 13:41:45
2/5 Rangers to win the league. Make your own mind up though.

7.) 03 Aug 2015 15:45:02
I don't think any rangers player will get 25 goals plus but what I do think at least 5 or 6 players will be 10 goals plus.rangers for the league plus cis or scottish cup.i think on our day we are a match for any team .cant wait till we gel.travernier for player of the season

8.) 03 Aug 2015 17:33:20
davie 1980 that's what I was meaning because if we keep playing we will create a lot of chances and supposing we only take 25/35% of them that will quite a few goals
