Billy Davies will be the next manager. McInnes is better waiting for a better opportunity. Davies wants the job and is a bluenose.

Reading all these excuses about internationals, etc. The reality of the situation is that Rangers are not as strong as Celtic, individually or collectively. RFC have played a lot of home games so far and as soon as a challenge presented itself away from home, they blew it against a team in the relegation zone. The midfield lacks any creativity and they rely on Morelos too often. Tynecastle takes width out of the game, so Arfield and Aribo had to make things happen - they never managed it and Ojo is not good enough. The centre halves are out of sync and don’t look like a good partnership, Katic is all over the place, for me - lacks composure. Celtic tend to have a strong 2nd half of the season, so RFC need a strong 1st half and it doesn’t look like that will happen. There’s no stopping 9, IMHO.

You only got one thing right in that post miko, and it was calling us RFC. Well done.

2.) 20 Oct 2019 20:18:51
I think there’s a lot right with it, but please feel free to elaborate, mate. 👍.

3.) 20 Oct 2019 21:22:31
Miko, Celtic drew 0-0 will Hibs at Easter Road who were below Hearts in the league so your logic is nonsense!

Good to see another Celtic “fan” has been studying the Rangers squad though!

4.) 20 Oct 2019 21:51:23
Hearts were 11th this morning mate. We’ve been to Ibrox and won comfortably and we wiped the floor with a top 6 side yesterday. We’ve had 2 blips, but we’ve played more away games and from what I watched yesterday and what I watched today, Celtic are the side that look more like champions.

5.) 21 Oct 2019 00:18:15
If they’re the side that look like the champions then why are they not ahead on points. The fact that you lot won the old firm and are level on points show that you’re not doing it against a the other teams.

As one of the previous posters mentioned, I agree that Caixinha is class, particularly with his post match interview. He acknowledged Scott Brown's dominant performance today and spoke articulately. I reckon if he gets about £20m he could challenge Celtic next season and take Rangers to the next level in their resurgence!

1.) 23 Apr 2017 19:13:39
Aye if Celtic give us a tap of the 20 million

2.) 23 Apr 2017 19:42:28
Our club is unfortunately rotten from top to bottom. No money, no opportunity to seek investment while ashley remains in the background and a bunch of no hopers and never will be players wearing our famous blue jersey. Early days but not convinced about our new manager and the stories about mccoist and his contract are simply disgusting. Many more years of playing second or third fiddle i suggest. Not great fellow gers.

3.) 23 Apr 2017 19:50:18
Where are we getting that money from?

4.) 23 Apr 2017 20:59:38
We don't have any real money all soft loans relying of good will of directors. That can't go on for ever. No sign of an end to this and we will struggle to get any better unless we sort out or deal with ashley in some way. He has money to burn and will sit tight snd starve us out. Very worring time ahead.

That's a poor result, it's going to be a slog in the run in! MW is not good enough, he's out of his depth and his comments after games are disgraceful, he gets very defensive and he speaks like a city trader, it's drivel. He's not what Gers need, however they say he won't walk away and King can't sack him. what a mess. They need a manager that can get results with those players, surely they're better than that!

Fair assessment miko.

2.) 04 Feb 2017 18:38:55
Just back from the game shocking it's not enjoyable to watch you work all week looking forward to your football on a Sat but I can't remember the last time I walked out of Ibrox and thought "that was a great game " it's so boring our goal difference says it all 24 games +6 the system just does not work we need to get two up we need players in the box how often do we win the ball back high up the park and no one in the box so back it comes we go side ways backward any way but forward we never change shape during a game to counter the way an opposing team just like for like MW for me is to stubborn he must see that it's not working the transfers in has been baffling few have been a success but if I was Dave King my main worry would be that there was so many empty seats today these are season ticket holders who have paid up front but didn't bother to turn up they are sick of the displays so when renewal time comes are they going to be as willing to stump up again many won't over to you Mr Warburton but you jacket is on a shaky nail

Miko

One of the best posts on here for a while. You've got the nail on the head by saying he can't take criticism. In fact I would go further and say I've never seen a manager go in a huff as much as him when he gets criticised. He is worse than a child and shouldn't be doing the job. The only thing that really amazes me is that some people still can't see it and keep making excuses for him

4.) 04 Feb 2017 20:07:09
His comment the other day was the best. He was going on about how celtic can field internationalist yet he has kept 2 guys who have played world cup/ euros on the bench for the 2 superstars he got from Wigan in tavenier and kiernan.

5.) 04 Feb 2017 21:08:07
thinkabout it, Rangers TV reported the crowd as being over 49,000 as we were looking at a half-empty stadium! It's like the Iraqi guy Comical Ali, 'there are no US tanks in Bagdhad' as they're passing by the window.

I think we must count all season ticket holders whether there or not, and all those who meant to go but coudn't make it and all those whose mammies wouldn't let them out.

6.) 04 Feb 2017 22:48:24
It will get worse think about it, I left at half time today couldn't watch any more of that crap, and a few more had the same idea I counted prob 50 people on way out same as me

The Rangers worked hard this afternoon, no doubts! A slight improvement, however Celtic had the better of the game and although statistics can sometimes be misleading, they reflected Celtic's superiority today, as does the table - 20 points ahead at half way. I thought the Gers showed a lot of heart though, that must be encouraging! That's surely a fair assessment for today and the season so far. Happy New Year y'all!

Showed a lot of fight today but if we had showed that much for all other games this season we wouldn't be so far behind in the table.

We did show that we can still rattle your team and for the best part of the first half, then we fell through after your equaliser.

The self belief must have gone with the lead because we were a different team in the second half.

Have a good new year.

The guy has worked absolute wonders to overhaul a shambolic Rangers squad and fill it with a mix of young but also high profile signings.

What?

Senderos sent off @ CP, Miller in jail, Barton suspended, Kranjcar benched.

Hardly a success mate, open your eyes!

I think that'll be it. Think this squad will do very well to finish top 3. This season will be about consolidating, win a cup and qualify for Europa. Realistically, I think this would be viewed as a very successful first season back in the PL. Think they've good chance of top 6, although not a gimme!

Hi guys, I am indeed a Celtic man, however I'm just calling it as I see it. I believe MW is a good manager, however the quality and strength in depth is not there to challenge over the course of a season. You must remember that the lower leagues are of a much lower standard. It was only a year ago that they lost 6-1 in the play off to Motherwell, it's difficult to bridge that gap in a year. I reckon they could get top 6 though.
