Daniel Sturridge 4/ 6 odds.

jim09

1.) 01 Jul 2019 19:17:25
So was RVP.

2.) 01 Jul 2019 19:27:32
So was ibra to celtic hahaham all it means is that's who folk are putting there money on. Only due to liverpool connection.

3.) 01 Jul 2019 21:54:42
Just watched the gaffers analysts of friendly sounded good but last comment was the best a few more signings coming through the door who knows another gem.

4.) 01 Jul 2019 22:57:02
I know wat it means I've been going to the bookies for 38 years .

5.) 02 Jul 2019 09:01:16
Aye rvp was short odds but we didn't have stevie g then n if we can get defoe then we can get sturridge.

6.) 02 Jul 2019 10:19:51
Not quite the same Brogie. Were only paying half of Defoes wages and he's 37 in 3 months time. Sturridge will go to a team like West Ham for wages of 80-100k.

7.) 02 Jul 2019 11:45:25
4/ 6 for what? Not joining Rangers? Worth a bet that.

8.) 02 Jul 2019 12:41:44
Sturridge would never take 80k a week pay cut. Never.

9.) 02 Jul 2019 14:28:14
Pay cut? Sturridge wouldn’t be taking any pay cut, as he’s out of contract. Apparently on £120k per week when he was at Liverpool, meaning he’s made £12,5m in the last two years, if that was the case. Wouldn’t you take a lower wage to play, when you’re already a millionaire?

10.) 02 Jul 2019 17:47:26
Scottyger he'll take a lower wage but it'll be at West ham probably who have a habit of signing players of his type. And this lower wage will still be 5 times what we could offer.

11.) 02 Jul 2019 17:47:33
Sturridge is a waist of time you’re talking about a guy who’s never started 10 games in a row in his entire career we’d be mad to even consider it he’s lightweight won’t play with even a minor niggle we need players that run through walls for the cause he’d get injured running through wet toilet paper .

12.) 02 Jul 2019 17:55:04
Would love this Sturridge rumour to be true then again I'm a dreamer. He could kick on up here. No smoke without fire would frighten the mob across the river.

22 Jun 2019 08:21:26
According to Gary McAllister Rangers are first in line if Kent doesn't get a permanent move .

jim09

1.) 22 Jun 2019 15:24:10
According to the rags Aribo sign next 48 hrs if true think no more signings till near end of window asses where we are and do some business then my opinion.

2.) 22 Jun 2019 18:46:36
Hope we can sell morelos soon where have all the club's who were breaking ibrox doors down to sign him gone.

12 Jun 2019 07:32:04
Sorry it was a landrover black not BMW.

jim09

1.) 13 Jun 2019 10:25:42
There's a pretty big difference - could it have been a Jeep potentially? That's a whole new can of worms - could it finally be the return of over-priced journeyman, ALAN HUTTON? LOL.

2.) 13 Jun 2019 15:11:36
Naw prob the local drug dealer .

12 Jun 2019 07:30:30
Just passed Ibrox 7.28am a black BMW 4 guys heading in the main door no idea who it was anyone else knows comment.

jim09

1.) 12 Jun 2019 10:14:57
Maybe a coach or player using the gym.

2.) 12 Jun 2019 17:07:06
Hmmm - Black Landrover?

That narrows it down.

3.) 12 Jun 2019 17:41:30
Did the guy who got out the driver's seat have glass eye and a wooden leg by any chance?

4.) 12 Jun 2019 20:48:12
My mistake it was a black landrover I don't know who it was I was in the distance was 4 that got out.

5.) 13 Jun 2019 10:26:23
Maybe a Volvo? Some of them are pretty big? Seems like massive transfer news, either way.

10 May 2019 20:13:37
Guys I told you last week rangers were set for a 15M transfer budget my 4th time correct before the press got it.

jim09

1.) 10 May 2019 21:18:51
Haven’t actually read anywhere about that size of budget mate. Where’s it saying that?

2.) 11 May 2019 00:54:28
Fantasy.

3.) 11 May 2019 02:46:59
I think Close brothers have issued a statement, saying they have very reasonable loan deals, just within, or thereabouts government guidelines, and they are happy to fund The rangers transfer activity, and then there is the usual small print and disclaimers about paying the installments back on time, unless you want to forfeit something or the other, anyway I wouldn't worry if you supported The rangers, I mean, what could possibly go wrong?

4.) 11 May 2019 10:27:13
When were the other three times you were right? I don't recall anything you have said actually happening.

5.) 11 May 2019 12:18:13
Still paying back the Co-op loan Aidan, businesses need both long and short term finance all the time to free up cashflow, it would be nice if everyone just stood still and didn’t try to grow however, wouldn’t it?

6.) 11 May 2019 14:21:32
I’d imagine Alfredo Morales leaving and the fee received will have a huge bearing on transfer budget. Remember just because players signed on bosmans have no transfer fee to pay doesn’t mean there’s no signing on fee.

I’d imagine the budget will be around the £10m mark with Alfredo staying with him leaving for day £15m then I’d say our budget would increase to £15m overall.
I think there’s £15m set aside for fees and wages from season ticket money so if we don’t sell anyone or make group stages that’s our limit.

Getting to group stages and selling Alfredo would give the club that money back but don’t expect us to sell Alfredo and all the fee to be reinvested in playing squad in addition to season ticket money.
I’m just excited we are progressing each window under Gerrard and look forward to another 2-3 big players being added hopefully to our squad.

7.) 11 May 2019 17:06:49
Glasgowranger It never occurred to me until recently how costly some free transfers can be. I think because there's no transfer fee the players/ agents often demand massive signing on fees so the club still forks out a sizeable sum.

As Rangers being the top elite European side in Scotland who should we play up top on Thursday defoe or Morelos? As we are already 4-2 up and can get the job done in Europe is there anyone else you might exclude from this match we must keep winning in the league .

jim09

1.) 14 Aug 2019 07:02:28
He knew they are a sinking ship, so did rodgers that's why two 'good celtic men' jumped at the first chance they got👍.

11 Aug 2019 14:46:06
2-0 I'm going for today katic to score .

jim09

09 Aug 2019 19:48:16
We should test Aberdeen that boy Cosgrove could be our 3rd choice striker he offers something different obviously he wouldn't be a starter but would be decent to bring off the bench Rangers could probably lure him in just by Ibrox and fans working for Gerrard and fighting for top spot plus it weakens Aberdeen more .

jim09

1.) 09 Aug 2019 20:35:12
I'd certainly keep an eye on him Jim as he had a decent season last year and started this season ok. Only 22 and a big unit but would like to see how he does this season or at least until xmas.
We do need a big hitman up front for when the majority of the teams pack their defences, not sure why SG hasn't bought or loaned one yet.

2.) 09 Aug 2019 22:38:38
would love a punt on him but can't see them parting with him for the money we would offer. been saying i'd like a big bully cf to complete the rangers jigsaw for a while now.

07 Aug 2019 09:53:41
Bournemouth have signed harry Wilson on loan 2.5M fee he has more chance getting into the Liverpool squad then Kent does so why are Liverpool refusing to loan out Kent?

jim09

1.) 07 Aug 2019 11:05:06
Because they think Wilson has a future at the club. Kent is now 22 and they’ve made a call on him, so trying to take in some money. Common sense.

2.) 07 Aug 2019 11:13:04
Liverpool don't need the 10M for Kent f@ck they made 10x times that last season with CL money so why not sell for 6M or so get him off the books and still make a bit of money this hard ball stuff makes no sense its not like there Dundee or Celtic penny pinching for there players they won't miss Kent .

3.) 07 Aug 2019 11:50:19
Jim, Liverpool run the club properly and like a business and do you expect them to sell Kent for peanuts?

4.) 07 Aug 2019 12:46:59
Jim, the rich don’t get rich by giving hand outs. It’s the same for big clubs. And when folk say “oh well they should just do Stevie G a favour”, it doesn’t work like that. Football clubs are a business at the end of the day.

5.) 07 Aug 2019 13:19:58
Jim, it’s called financial fair play. That’s why they want a big fee.

6.) 07 Aug 2019 13:20:57
Wagsman Wilson one month older than Kent, fact is Kent is not standard Liverpool require.

7.) 07 Aug 2019 13:45:14
Thank god you don't run a Business Jim09

You are literally saying Liverpool should throw away £4M. I think their accounts department would have a few words to say.

The youth system and the associated sales and loans from the top clubs in England are a big percentage of the new Business model.

The big clubs regularly send out dozens youth players on loan to smaller clubs and can ask for £1m+ a season. Eventually they make a decision on these youth guys, Kent and Wilson are a great example, Wilson has proven in the championship which is harder league than the SPL, so let's send him out on loan at a higher level than he played last year, Ryan Kent is now obviously not going to cut it in the EPL, but they now they can get anything up to about £10m plus sell on fees for him. Regardless, they're constantly making money out their youth system. There's no way they'll just go. "Aye ok since its you Stevie G, we'll give you a 40% discount, mates rates"

06 Aug 2019 14:12:39
Very pleased the start of the season got a win but there's some serious issues why is Ojo drifting in and out of matches and tavernier doesn't look like he's in form aribo was ok but expected better and why is the team dominating games but no end product its concerning people will say its early give them a chance but if I could spot the errors so can Gerrard our play is slow yes we have possession a lot but no product bigger teams will hammer us for this we have to kill teams off not sit on 1-0 even against Dundee its dangerous i'm glad we won but we could of paid the price big time.

jim09

1.) 06 Aug 2019 15:11:24
The overall performance was not good enough to win the league, ojo is young and a typical winger some games Brilliant other games disappears, too passive with our passing crab football I call it side to side Aribo was too deep Davis and jack never did enough, when we lost that late goal the managers reaction was poor slumped in his seat, his changes came too late, he should give Hastie, Docherty and jones a go at least they take people on.

2.) 06 Aug 2019 15:24:17
I would read very little into the Killie game, it's not football as we know it on that surface.

3.) 06 Aug 2019 15:55:41
The Hibs game will be a better indicator of where we are.

4.) 06 Aug 2019 16:54:34
About time the players were encouraged to have a shot from outside the box. Trying to make 6 passes inside the box ends up in failure MOST times.

5.) 06 Aug 2019 18:17:15
As much as the performance against killie was disappointing, we did win the game. It was our first league game on a sh*te playing surface, let's not over-analyse it.

9M or no deal Aston villa are rich now tavernier could do a job for them that's how I got the 9M figure his assists and attacking attributes are worth that kind of money it's realistic to believe that sum.

I'm as much optimistic as the next guy I really have high hopes every time Rangers play but IF we get wolves my blood pressure will go sky high I watched this wolves team last season there play is very slick neat n tidy there clever splitting a defence with 2 or 3 passes from midfield they get in behind extremely dangerously quick that's what worries me but on the flip side I do believe anything can happen at ibrox.
