Traore is too injury prone Due to his height I reckon he will be more so and the Scottish League is too physical for him in my opinion! I'd rather see Sadiq get a crack at the whip!

it pains me to say this but Celtic have made Millions from transfers in the last 10 years. We always seem to sell at a loss or even pay players to leave. Frustrating!

Is that not because they have sold their best players to good teams with money and we have sold our worst players to lower league clubs? Also they have signed lots of dross and sold them at a loss but for every 5 bad signings they make 1 good. Kouassi. Good point Huey, if u look at the amount of players they have bought and what they sold them for then celtic don't look so clever at it. Then on the other hand they have done well on the return on players like van dyjk, dembele, Armstrong in the past so I can see where gus57 is coming from.
We need to remember that we have been on a rebuild for the last 8 years, a good few years with schiesters in charge who's only objective was to take from the club.
Finally over the last few years we have made numerous shrewd signing like kamara (£50k), barasic (2m), morelos (1m) that when the time comes for them to move on will give us a impressive profit.
We are 1 million transfer fee and and approx 3-4million quid in wages invested in morelos so far since 2017 so anything over that is pure profit, we should do wellðŸ‘.

Further to my earlier post I just want to see a profit on player transfers so that we avoid any financial problems. I know we are rebuilding and there are some good young players in the pipeline. Maybe some will get an outing in the first team this coming season.

The thing here is, geo, what is the criteria that has to be met to get into the hall of "fame". It obviously can't be purely football ability, they are saying as much by blocking one of the best players ever to have graced a Scottish football park, so there must be more expected of anyone hoping to join this "elite" club.
Is it morals they are looking at? If so what is the cut off point? Billy Bremner for instance had his Scotland career cut short after being banned from ever playing for us again by the sfa, Jimmy Johnstone was an alcoholic thief but both fully deserving of the tile "Scottish football legends". Should we now be going through the list and weeding out the morally corrupt that are in there?
Very few alcoholics come without baggage! Who were the ones that threatened a boycott and are they man enough to explain their stance, perhaps open themselves and their lives up to scrutiny? I doubt it.
P.S. to our tim trolls, I was in no way having a dig at Jinky or Bremner for that matter, I'm just pointing out that they have the same frailties as the rest of us mere mortals. Both players were true legends.

I agree DOIGER, Will anyone be man enough to stand up and say "it was me that blocked Gazzas induction" opening himself up to scrutiny, I doubt it. If he has good reason then tell us the reasons and open up the debate of who can and cannot be inducted and if any of the previous inductees do not come up to scratch then remove them from the list. The press are as bad always saying "the sfa" or just "someone" blocked the nomination, they should be telling us who it was.

Tonight’s performance is exactly why he isn’t playing down south! As for him being captain, he should be made to watch Greig, Gough, Butcher etc.
Never a captain for our great club! That show tonight would have got him his bus fare up. The road never to be seen an if these rubbish games continue he might have a certain Mr G beside him!
