Thats the bar been set.

The exact same as what was said after the Aberdeen games.

The players need to match that desire effort passion determination that they showed today in every game.

Candeias was flying into every tackle like bomber brown. What a performance going forward and back from the boy.

Lets get as close to celtic this year as we can lads!

I said in the live chat that i think they might of finally found their balls and faced up, we could and should of beaten them comfortably second half but that will come hopefully if they show the desire they showed today, i said before they aren't brilliant especially defensively and we agian went for it, just wish we had an experienced striker i like el buffalo but even naismith would of been great today, overall really happy but gutted with a draw as we should of won

2.) 30 Dec 2017 19:13:13
Delighted with how we played today! Disappointed we only drew. well worth a win. Anyone else astounded by how long kranjcar got on the pitch?
As for Alves and his wee delicate leg taxi to airport first thing Monday for flight back to faro! We need warriors not cowards! Whole team were excellent apart fae kranc. tav excelled as did candeias. FIRB BEARS

3.) 30 Dec 2017 22:31:09
not another one slating alves i really am losing the will to live our player gets injured and all the fans turn on him. alves was clearly injured and would never bottle out of any game. get a grip you lot. alves is a class player and will be going to the world cup next year he has played all over europe in top games so why the hell would he bottle a old firm game. seriously. ed what do you think?

4.) 30 Dec 2017 22:21:11
Couldn't agree more! If both sides had taken there chances - well its all ifs, buts and maybes. Good to see them competing and showed up Celtic for what they are, currently the best of a bad bunch.

28 Dec 2017 13:11:47
For us to guarantee second place and finish as close as possible to celtic this year we need the following:

Left back (allowing d. john to push forward into LM)
LW/ RW (a player better than windass and candeias)
Centre Mid (we have no real creative quality of leadership there at all)
Striker/ attack Mid (need more goals from midfield and our strikers other than morelos)

I like big herrera he loves the club and is totally committed. Last night nose burst and still soldiered on. Second goal when in and he was going mad buzzing. Just wish he could score a few more.

der-goalie1

1.) 28 Dec 2017 14:36:39
Was last night not the big mans first start for us? He’s only got two goals but he normally only comes on for 5-10 mins if you are lucky.

I think him and Morelos could make a decent partnership if we can supply them with some quality service, unfortunately that’s a big problem for us just now with so many midfielders out.

2.) 28 Dec 2017 14:46:30
We have a left back. Club Captain.

3.) 28 Dec 2017 14:58:58
people need to realise Herrera isn't a goal scorer he's a target man which did really well last night I thought. Unfortunately he's not going to get 15 goals a season he's there to hold the ball up give our other players space to run into

4.) 28 Dec 2017 15:00:00
Herrera was absolutely woeful last night

5.) 28 Dec 2017 15:35:31
Totally agree campbell what game are people watchin his hold up play waa non exsistant his pace the same doesn't seem a goal threat only thing he done was run himself into the ground which any of the fans inside the stadium are capable of doing, he's nowhere near good enough

6.) 28 Dec 2017 17:33:30
I think big Herrera is a better option as support for Morelos than Miller is. I think given a run in the team he could be useful but unfortuneately no better than that. One of the guys sitting next to me last night said he thought Herrera could be as good as Dado Prso. About 20 people around us all burst out laughing. You sometimes wonder what others see. What i would give to turn back the clock and get Prso back.

7.) 28 Dec 2017 17:51:57
The boy needs a chance. 5 mins a week proves nothing. A run of games before end of season will let us see what he can do and if he does not meet the demand at least he has been out there for others to see and stop him losing value on the bench. I saw his reaction when morales scored. He was stood in the box fist pumping and genuinely had emotion to be winning. Broken nose and all he fought last night against a team of animals.

8.) 28 Dec 2017 23:55:36
People need to realise that herrera is absolute single fish. He can't pass, he can't run, he can't score, he is so bad it hurts to watch him.

9.) 28 Dec 2017 23:57:04
Penarcade, Herrera isn't a goalscorer he is a target man?

Mark Hateley 165 games 87 goals
John hartson 146 games 88 goals
Chris Sutton 130 games 63 goals
Dado Prso 94 games 31 goals
Nikicia Jelavic 45 games 30 goals

Just a few target men statistics for you mate.

Herrerra needs to add goals to his game if he is to be a Rangers striker, its not enough just trying hard. Hopefully he starts more games and can add goals.

10.) 29 Dec 2017 00:08:49
Herrera as good as Dado Prso? Stay off the drugs!

11.) 29 Dec 2017 00:09:45
He jumped an hour early for every ball he's no target man he won't do there's a reason he's been on the bench

12.) 29 Dec 2017 06:09:33
100% agree he needs proper minutes on the pitch he’s came off the bench 15 times and that’s for 10 mins at a time at the most guy needs too be given 5 or 6 games with at least 60/70 mins on the pitch then he can be judged. You can see he’s a player that gives his all and wants too make the most of his chance at the club the same can’t be said for some of the other singing from the summer.

13.) 29 Dec 2017 09:04:57
Sorry lads no matter how many minutes you give the guy you can’t force him to get better as coldo said he’s absolute single fish - and I’m sorry no matter how many Fist Pumps 🤔🤔😆😆he does or has his Heart in the right place will never merit him a rangers jersey - for me he’s in the same class of players as Kevin Kyle, faure, argyriou, sandaza, to name a few!

14.) 29 Dec 2017 09:28:41
Herrera isn’t suited to the Scottish game and he like Pena shouldn’t have been bought. Hopefully both will go back to Mexico during the January transfer window.

15.) 29 Dec 2017 23:32:10
Should have brought Lafferty back when we had the chance.

17 Dec 2017 14:05:58
Jamie Murphy would be a great signing if we pull it off in january. Fingers crossed on that one.

Im more excited for the january transfer window than i am for christmas.

I wonder who santa will bring us in January.

der-goalie1

1.) 17 Dec 2017 15:21:18
Nobody, no money and no manager - simple.

2.) 17 Dec 2017 15:29:57
Even if Santa brought us Jamie Murphy that's hardly massively exciting is it.

12 Dec 2017 14:57:34
We need a new goalkeeper. I know some might say its not priority and ill say fair enough to that.

Wes for me lacks so much of the physical and mental attributes required to be a goalkeeper. He is so weak in the box at crosses. Last minute vs ross county he fumbled the ball after bouncing off alves. He should be screaming for the ball and taking everyone in his path out. he's no where near commanding enough.

I will add he can make a great save but being a goalkeeper is more than making saves.

Even Alnwick seems to lack that physical and mental side of his game.

Who would you like to see come in as replacement? Within reason of course. Heard Casillas wants out of Porto. "rolls eyes".

der-goalie1

1.) 12 Dec 2017 15:11:10
I personally think fods is a good keeper. Yes he isn’t the best at crosses but he is a really good shot stopper.

2.) 12 Dec 2017 15:18:54
If Robbie McCrorie is as good as his twin brother, then in a couple of years, we will have him as our first choice keeper.

3.) 12 Dec 2017 15:30:05
Wes epitomises modern Rangers. Some fans pointing out a quality or two of a player to try to justify and being divided over a player who couldn't lace McGregor, Woods, Klos or even Charbonnier's boots.

Hate this period in our history.

4.) 12 Dec 2017 15:59:42
I agree fods the best player we've had in a while, can't blame him for catching the ball for that freekick and Wilson jumping into him to make him spill it

5.) 12 Dec 2017 17:05:58
There are so many keepers down south that are not getting a game I would look at them. Take Krul, Stekelenberg, Lindegaard for example.

6.) 12 Dec 2017 19:43:29
Liam Kelly for me is an absolutely fantastic goalkeeper and definitely one for the very near future. been out on loan a couple times and just waiting for his opportunity, very much like McGregor did.

7.) 12 Dec 2017 21:09:57
Got to agree with the o. p, the stats don't lie, we have lost something like 62 league goals in 55 games between this season so far and last season. That's a really poor stat, I know the defence need to take a share of the blame but Fods has let in goals he should never be letting in. He is dodgy at crosses, a bombscare with the ball at his feet and doesn't command his area. I would be happy to see a higher standard of keeper brought in.

8.) 12 Dec 2017 21:59:00
Fods is an average keeper who let's in 2 many soft goals. Nearly cost us 2 points on Saturday with that mistake late on. He must have known Wilson was in close attention so why not punch the ball rather than try and hold it

9.) 13 Dec 2017 20:37:31
Thanks for keeping us in the game Wes before Windass and Morelos put us in front!
Hope we are up for second half! Come on the gers!

10.) 13 Dec 2017 21:48:42
A new goalie, aye ok mate.

11.) 14 Dec 2017 08:11:04
Take a bow wes, outstanding.

12.) 14 Dec 2017 08:20:09
If it wasn't for Foderingham last night we could have been murdered by Hibs! Think there are far more obvious areas we should strengthen before we need to look at he keeper

13.) 15 Dec 2017 00:30:44
Seriously? . Thankfully most of you won't ever get any say on team selection or just any say. He's probably the best keeper in the league when it comes to ball at his feet and distribution. He's improving all the time. Yes, he's no Goram, etc but he's good enough just now. Pig sick of such fickle "supporters"

10 Dec 2017 21:01:29
Whats your thoughts on Joe Dodoo and michael o'halloran coming back in january?

You think they will come in and make a difference or go straight back out?

der-goalie1

1.) 10 Dec 2017 21:30:14
Dodoo can't get a game in league 1 and is terrible and ohalloran is a decent player at st Johnston level so if we are to finish second and then kick on next season both of them nowhere near good enough.

2.) 10 Dec 2017 21:30:39
Ohalloran if played as a striker could be a useful asset in an open game but limited when the other teams park the bus, that's why he is successful at a diddy club and not at Rangers. Doddoo, not sure
but could be handy, if fit, and we suffer injuries to our main strike force. However I don't think either player has a long term future with us.

3.) 10 Dec 2017 22:03:01
don’t know about dodoo or MoH or forrester and halliday are their loans for 6months or a year . i wonder if murty would consider recalling any of them?

Id have them in ahead of herrera pena dalcio hodson etc

Given our injuries to wallace rossiter dorrans etc and looking at our bench yesterday it was very thin and if money is tight maybe recalling a loan or two might be worth considering

just sayin

4.) 11 Dec 2017 17:54:01
Would get Dodoo back and in the first team squad. He has had injury problems whilst at Charlton and has not played much, but his pedigree is strong as an explosive goal scorer. Don’t think MOH is good enough so would let him stay at SJ in hope he can find a club and we can recover some money.

5.) 11 Dec 2017 18:05:07
Moult should have been bought in summer and not herrara. He is murder. Prob struggle but why not offer him contract and see what happens, nothing to lose. Guys on loan maybe deserve another chance. Pena s driving me nuts, definitely a player in there but needs the right manager to get him going I think.

End of.

der-goalie1

1.) 25 Feb 2019 12:01:08
I might get shouted down but don't think Hallidays heart beats Barisic skill. Believe he will come good after injury and think he's still being bedded in.

18 Feb 2019 22:34:34
All I'm going to say is this and its a FACT!

Since Ejaria has left we have STRUGGLED MASSIVELY.

He got absolutely slaughtered off a good majority of rangers fans.

His composure, vision, movement and ability to play passes that would split defenders allowing for us to flood the box with players is sorely missed.

If we had Ejaria I gaurentee the games we've drew and lost where teams just sit in and defend for 90mins we would have taken something from them.

If anyone disagrees with this then please explain why.

der-goalie1

1.) 19 Feb 2019 00:26:51
Is this the same Ejaria who got 1 goal and 1 assist in 14 premiership games? He was rotten mate. Could do a few nice turns to hold onto the ball from time to time but did feck all with it after that. Most of gis passes went sideways or backwards.

2.) 19 Feb 2019 00:33:55
Are you for real?

We drew and lost games when he was in the team aswell!

1-1 at Dundee?
Semi final vs Sheep?

I could go on. He wasn’t the problem but he certainly isn’t the answer. Another transfer window should see us improve again.

3.) 19 Feb 2019 05:31:14
Wow.

He started ok, then his confidence was hit (liked the praise, couldn't handle fans on his back) .

From then it was receive the ball, turn, turn, side ways or backwards pass.

His head was down, and did not even want the ball towards the end of his time with us (deliberately) . And for me at this moment in time does not have what it takes to play at Ibrox.

4.) 19 Feb 2019 06:30:15
Bearmode, you said another transfer window should see us improve again, imo not if we have a repeat of January bringing in Davis. Need young players, this idea of bringing in "experienced" players doesn't work - senderos, Barton, kranjcar etc.

5.) 19 Feb 2019 10:59:25
Ejaria needs time on the ball - something he will never get in Scotland. Also too slight in build for the game up here - easily knocked off the ball.

6.) 19 Feb 2019 11:43:15
I think Kamara is a better player than Ejaria - and will do all the things you say above, but with one difference, he WILL dig in - he has experience of playing up here and knows what to expect and what is expected. He is one worth watching,

03 Jan 2018 00:35:17
I hope this transfer window we get our main targets in ASAP. I know Murty says he wants them in before the trip away so heres hoping!

Murphy is a good steady start. Hard working skillful player who knows the league and has had a great education over the past 5 years or so playing down south.

Id like to see MacArthur but i can't see that for the life of me. Only way would be a loan and we don't need that we need a steady solid squad so we can move forward.

After murphy i'd say maybe another 2-3 signings. Followed by 1 or 2 young guys coming in on load as squad players to give us a boost not to be relied on for 90mins every week.

To free up some space some need to go.

Rossiter it just hasn't worked out he may well come good but unfortunately we don't have the luxury of carrying a player on such a high wage doing nothing. A real shame for the boy but its time to move him on.

Pena as well if possible i would move him on, A potential cult hero at Ibrox who has a lot of ability and great movement but will never have that hard work ethic required to succeed which is a true shame.

Herrera again i'd love him to come onto a game but i can't see it happening, If we can get a new striker in then i would try and offload him.

Kranjcar is 50/ 50 for me he has bags of class but is expected to play a more physical high energy role which isn't really his game. Keep him or sell him i really don't know. Surely if he stays its to come off the bench and play last 20.

Halliday Forrester Dodoo and ohalloran i'd put into the reserves and put them on transfer list.

Dalcio, Nemane cancel loans with immediate effect.

This is only my opinion and i'm aure some will agree and some will disagree.

What would you like to see happening with players in and players out?

der-goalie1

1.) 03 Jan 2018 10:40:11
I think that's a decent assessment of where I'd like us to be by the end of the transfer window, der-goalie. I've already said there's enough money to bring in two players on permanent contracts right now, and others will depend on who we manage to offload. I won't speculate on who might come in, there's enough experts on here with far better 'contacts' than me to do that, but I reckon that in having good attacking skills, Murphy would be a good addition.

I still think we need a midfield player with both fearsome tenacity and an eye for a forward pass, plus a marauder up front beside Morelos, but it's exciting to sit back and watch developments. If Murty wants new players to travel to Florida, maybe we can expect some action by the end of this week.

2.) 03 Jan 2018 10:52:57
I would begin by offering new contracts to Wilson, Bates, Thompson, Beerman and Hardie.

Players I would sell or release are:-
Foderigham or Alnwick – Don’t need both and I would promote Kelly and McCrorie.
Hodson – Not good enough, would replace him with new RWB
Alves – Too inconsistent, injuries are mounting and a high earner, would also promote Aidan Wilson, done well last year when he broke into the team.
Wallace – This won’t be a popular decision, but he isn’t the player he once was, and after signing John I fell we have enough cover here in Thompson and Beerman.
Halliday – Not needed, for the DM role, and if going for Murphy, not required for LW either.
Kranjacr – Not the player he once was, out of contract in the summer, not fit enough yet for the run in. I would recall Forrester to fill his position for the run in.
Pena – I like him, but not suited to Scottish football
Dalcio – Cancel loan and return to club
Nemane – Looks a player in the u20s but if not getting a chance, cancel loan and return to club
Dodoo – Never really fulfilled his potential
O’Halleron – His attributes aren’t suited to playing for Rangers with teams sitting back
Herrera - Not suited to Scottish football
Miller – due to injuries and contract being up in the summer, i'd offer a coaching role the now

Positions we need to strengthen would be a RB, a LW, a ST, and a creative playmaker for the middle, be it a no.10 or deeper

GK – 1. Foderingham/ Alnwick 2. Kelly 3. McCrorie
RB – 1. Tavernier 2.?
LB – 1. John 2. Beerman
CB – 1. D. Wilson 2. Cardoso 3. Bates 4. A. Wilson
DM – 1. McCrorie 2. Rossiter
CM – 1. Dorrans 2. Jack 3. Brajonas 4. Holt
AM – 1. Forrester 2. Burt 3.?
RW – 1. Candieas 2. Atakayi
LW – 1. Thompson 2.?
ST – 1. Morelos 2. Windass 3. Hardie 4. Rudden 5.?

Players I’d like to see us go for would be Cadden, Hendry and Morgan. Good young Scottish talent.
I am happy with potential of experienced players like Murphy coming in, but until its confirmed by Rangers, no point in getting hopes up.

3.) 03 Jan 2018 11:03:41
Pena has go no ability whatsoever!

4.) 03 Jan 2018 11:43:26
Pena does have ability, you don't get 20 caps for Mexico (plus goals) with no ability. His movement and finishing is very good, he just looks like it's too late in his career to have played all his days in Mexico and all of a sudden change to Scottish football, it's too fast paced for him.

Mind boggling signing, but again, that's what you get when you sign a manager who has never managed in British football.

5.) 03 Jan 2018 14:35:59
Pena, is an enigma. maybe not well suited to the Scottish game. but you can't say 'no ability'. I doubt you would say that about many Scotland Internationalists and our FIFA ranking is a long way off Mexico's? 9 Rangers appearances and 5 goals? Morelos claims he is the best player he had played with? I thinks he has bags of skill. but slow and lacking aggression. On his day one of our best players

6.) 03 Jan 2018 15:02:13
Morgon is signing for Celtic.

Hendry is no netter than the young centre halves we have.

Jack is a DM and Dorrans is an AM.

Declan John can't defend so I'd move him forward as we don't have a left winger and sign left back cover for Wallace for when he's fit.

If bruno goes we need a centre half. I'd take Martin, always thought he was the best of a bad bunch for Scotland. Danny Wilson is rotten.

Murphy would be a good signing as would James Macarthur.

Looks like we're bringing in a young guy from QPR he will likely be cover for Jack.

I can't believe you're debating whether we keep Wes or alnwick. Wes is the best keeper in the league and has saved us loads the last 2 year's. Ok he's not excellent at commanding his area but that seems to be the case with most keepers nowadays. We won't sign a better keeper than Wes if we let him go.

7.) 03 Jan 2018 15:03:08
That was aimed at Gordon83

8.) 03 Jan 2018 15:20:07
Wison isn't that bad, the boy from qpr is a left midfielder / left back. Dorrans is definitely not a defensive midfielder. I don't think we'll pay a transfer fee for anyone playing in spl. How many players will murty actually get to sign though?

9.) 03 Jan 2018 15:46:35
Hes murder and i don't care how many caps he's got. there's been players over the years that have caps for better countrys than mexico that are crap as well. it doesn't mean because you’ve been capped you’re all of a sudden a good player

10.) 03 Jan 2018 16:18:46
Hi SG34, I don't quite agree. What you are saying is the exception to the rule and therefore I don't see why any reasonable person can't use the capped player scenario as a general yard stick with regards his ability. What you say is irrelevant.

11.) 03 Jan 2018 19:16:54
“Bags of ability “hahahaha. i think saying a player has been capped therefore has ability is just plain crap. TJBB let me ask you, have i never thot a player is crap that has caps for whatever country?

12.) 04 Jan 2018 08:39:20
Stuart AC you will find that Jack and Dorrans have both played more in the CM positions for us this season with McCrorie playing DM in the diamond formation. and before this in a 4-4-2 partnering each other. Hence why have them both as CM's.
Hendry would be decent cover.
Until Morgan is confirmed by Celtic why can't we put a bid in, plus all I was saying was that I would like us to go for these guys, so wind your neck in.
Wilson has been our best CB this season, if you don't think so, please explain who has.
Im not debating who goes out of Fod or Alnwick. i'm simply not fussed as I feel both are adequate, as Alnwick has proven with his shot stopping also in the cup games, but we could get more money for Fods. (something apparently we need according the financial experts on this site) .
I fail to see how McCarthur would be a good signing now tho.

13.) 04 Jan 2018 14:16:40
Gordon it doesn't matter where they have played this season Jack is a DM and should be played there. Dorrans is an attacking midfielder so should be played there same position as kranjcar and pena.

Alnwick has played 3 or 4 games in the cup only one of these games was he really tested.

Wilson is rotten. At fault for 2 goals against st Johnstone and one against killie. I'd rather Cordoso got a run in the side.

14.) 04 Jan 2018 15:07:26
So by your rationale McCrorie shouldn't be playing DM as he is a CB. But I'd move him there permanently.

Move the players about all you will, CM DM AM, its all relative, but I suppose you know the players better than our managers, who have chosen where they play, wait who do you manage again?

You have still not answered is Wilson is so rotten, who has been our best CB?

If you ain't impressed with Alnwick then sell him, I don't care which one of the two goes, as I feel we have cover.

01 Jan 2018 11:43:31
I think the reason Niko didn't get hooked yesterday was because Murty felt even though he wasnt playing well the system was working and we where all over celtic.

Maybe he thought if he changes it and celtic scored he would regret it. Just a thought. i can understand why he didn't take him off even though he was shattered looking.

der-goalie1

1.) 01 Jan 2018 13:18:41
100% disagree . he never hooked him off because he doesn’t know the changes to make, “the system” would have worked better if you took a guy off who never ran and never gave it away constantly. Niko was a waste of a jersey so don’t give me that nonsense.!

2.) 01 Jan 2018 14:25:55
He brought on Pena who was fecked looking after 30 secs. Again who does he bring on then. The young lad who unlike bates has nevered sampled that game. At 3-0 up or down aye. At 0-0 each and out playing Celtic naw. We have no depth in experience to alter games, thus why the loans are coming back. I wanted Kranjar pulled especially before those fecking awful corners. If he had brought on Pena earlier, he would have been asking for a tea break. 😀. This window will let us see what Murty the new manager has in mind.

3.) 01 Jan 2018 21:09:48
Those corners he took were up there with the worst ever eh? 😂😂 couldn’t believe he continually took them ! Woeful

4.) 01 Jan 2018 22:34:52
Forrester for Kranjcar or Halliday for Windass and Windass cutting in for Kranjcars may have been the difference or even the speed and directness of O'Halloran although life is not built on what ifs

18 dec 2017 18:54:34
i feel so bad for graeme murty its unbeleivable what this guy is having to endure.

i feel with a good group of players he could be a good manager for us. the players at are there are simply not good enough. and the ones that are doing well are only the best of a bad lot.

the only players who are good enough to wear the jersey and know what it take to wear the jersey are :

mccrorie
miller (although he is past it)
jack

other than these 2 i am struggling to think of anyone.

tavernier john nemane
candeias wallace dalcio
wilson pena
windass herrera
alves bates

all need to go they simply don't have yhe quality to play for us.

sick to death of average players and an inadequate board.

clear out from top to bottom is needed again.

we have been set back another 2-3 year again after this year.

do not renew season tickets until we have clarification regarding our cluba future. its time we took a stand and stopped getting took for mugs.

Say what you want about the board for performances on the park. From a business perspective they have done an extremely good job. We are not 2-3 years back, behind the scenes we are well on our way to being extremely stable.

2.) 18 Dec 2017 20:22:53
Morels is one of our best players he just can't get decent passes

3.) 18 Dec 2017 21:09:07
Der-goalie1' you don't need to renew your season ticket if you don't want to, but as always I will be there next season and the seasons after that. You say we are set back another 2 or 3 years how so? Listen I'm as frustrated, angry, embarrassed and at a loss as to how things have transpired this season but to suggest we hold back funds from our club that's still recovering from the brink is poor in my opinion. And still we follow on.

4.) 18 Dec 2017 22:48:17
Only miller and Jack? miller is way past it and jack is shite Every time he plays he messes up the shape of the side and the midfield not to mention the amount of read cards already is shocking.

5.) 19 Dec 2017 02:17:04
Sorry pal. I have 2 season tickets for myself and my son. I’ve seen Rangers win everything domestically all my life and the past 5/ 6 years have been brutal but we will follow on. Glory hunters can get a cab across the city. We are bang average and don’t have a manager and still hanging in so better times to come. You can watch the famous on kodi

6.) 19 Dec 2017 02:18:21
Ryan Jack’s discipline would be better if he appreciates what it means to play for our club, just because he’s a Rangers man, a fan, and at times a good player doesn’t mean he escapes criticism.

He has been comparable with some of the names cited as being below par and at times has performed worse.

Kenny Miller has hardly been consistent at any point this season, Caixinha is gone and surprise surprise he’s no better than the reasons we hear on here for him getting dropped.

McRorie has been excellent, a great prospect he has a bright future at Rangers. To suggest only these three know what it means to represent a club of this stature is maybe a bit daft for me, can’t imagine hearing 50,000 of your own booing you off the pitch doesn’t in some way represent the severity of not getting it right.

We have been set back 2-3 years because we have brutal players that all need moved out.

Then the process of bringing new ones in AGAIN.

I wrote that last post in pure anger last week if i could change 1 pr 2 things i would and i can hold my hands up.

Morelos - great potential done brilliant for us and trys his heart out.

Regarding the board fair enough they invested but their initial investment into Pedro shouldn't have happened in the first place. They have dealt with the new manager situation like a junior team committee.

As for season ticket renewal I said that out of anger in all honesty lads. Weve all went and supported the club through the worst period in history why quit now. Although i will add i think the board know that no matter what we will all buy season tickets. That was my point.

It annoys me when folk say set back, we are at the stages of trying to build a team failure after failure you can't go back on that.

9.) 19 Dec 2017 05:59:19
I can understand your frustration der-goalie1!I have followed rangers everywhere, for the best part of 42 years now, just like a helluva lot of our loyal supporters, out there! I will always go to see the famous GR, 'till the day i'm no longer here! Shareholder, season ticket holder, merchandise buyer, everything rangers, buyer, that's me! I worship glasgow rangers! I can honestly see where your coming from, der-goalie1!Sometimes we say things out of sheer frustration, about the club we love, because we care my friend! We will always be the people! Onwards and upwards! We'll get there! We'll have our day once again!

Cant say i know to much about the boy from Hamilton.

I always think though like the Jamie Walker scenario. why is it only Rangers interested.

Why are celtic and a host of championship teams after him if he's got so much potential.

Jimmy nicholl is right out of the blue.

Out of every person to choose from its jimmy nicholl. Definitely something weird about that one IMO.

Has Murty worked with him before?

Penarcade, Herrera isn't a goalscorer he is a target man?

Mark Hateley 165 games 87 goals
John hartson 146 games 88 goals
Chris Sutton 130 games 63 goals
Dado Prso 94 games 31 goals
Nikicia Jelavic 45 games 30 goals

Just a few target men statistics for you mate.

Herrerra needs to add goals to his game if he is to be a Rangers striker, its not enough just trying hard. Hopefully he starts more games and can add goals.

Someone like Mazzarri would be class.

Unfortunately he's being linked with west ham and ac milan with both managers under pressure.

Score Mazzarri off the list it won't happen unfortunately.

Dont know about you guys but my arse is making buttons waiting on the announcement!

Pena makes me want to cry every time i watch him. there's so much potential there for him to become a cult hero and be at the club for years but.

Hes just missing that something that can't be coached and i'm afraid that's why he will never be a success at Ibrox.

If you cast your mind back to last season.

Celtic v st. mirren

St. mirren literally had them on the ropes.

Brendan Rodgers said its the best team celtic had played all season.

Jack Ross. Great shout
