Do fellow bears think we will get Walker before the deadline tonite?

Ulsterbear

1.) 31 Aug 2017 21:28:30
Yip 11.59 deal done

2.) 31 Aug 2017 21:39:14
Doesn't look like UlsterBear. Looks like we will need to make do with what we have got. DK put the cheque book away after progres game. Also happy we are not being held to ransom by Hearts.

3.) 31 Aug 2017 21:49:07
Just can't see it, hope I'm wrong. we need to sign walker come on rangers

4.) 31 Aug 2017 22:22:29
No singings . can't even sign walker . forget your course at uni pedro . try sign a decent player

5.) 31 Aug 2017 22:27:09
Can't see walker joining until January transfer window. Really disappointing despite the fact we have had so many bids rejected dunno why PC can't come up wi the 1mil

6.) 31 Aug 2017 22:56:28
If you want him to sign a decent player, why do you mention Walker? Bang average.

7.) 31 Aug 2017 23:10:26
alves, candeias, morelos, dorran, jack. just saying

8.) 01 Sep 2017 00:21:26
JCgers have a word in the mirror mate. Why pay over the odds? 90% of managers ain't in the building when deals are done. So no harm in peadro being in portugal with muriniho etc. Some folk are definitely never happy.

Im reading on here about us brining out new tops? how is this working,? . does this mean we can buy tops now.? . can ed please shed some light on this if he can, i'm just a bit confused. thanks.

{Ed039's Note - there is nothing official on the retail deal and wouldn't expect there to be while there is an ongoing legal battle, nothing has changed in that sense

Puma and 32RED must put pressure on Ashley to renegotiate. They are not getting good value. When they signed up they believed the shirt sales could be in the tens of thousands not in the high hundreds. Good business practice that suits all must prevail.

2.) 04 Jun 2017 21:28:22
Negotiations going fine. New top this summer and profits to Rangers.

3.) 04 Jun 2017 21:46:39
In my opinion:

As far as Ashley is positioned in this situation, he has enough money to dig in and refuse to budge whether it makes sense financially or not.

He gets more than enough income from other sources and can happily sit on his erse laughing while no real revenue is generated from our club merchandise for any party involved.

32Red – They agreed a package for three seasons starting from July 2014. So that is up.

Puma agreed a five year deal starting 2013 so they haven't got long to run either.

Unless the board go against a contract (not a great idea usually) and sort a different kit out then we are stuck in limbo in my opinion.

It's annoying because our club is losing a source of revenue and because I want to be able to buy strips again!

what a bloody joke this team is. Sumthing has to be done. unless serious money is brought into the club I think this is what we are going be like for some time to come. I know Ashley is hated by us, but at least he would make sure a winning team was on the pitch and we got into Champions league. Okay it would be for his benefit ie sports direct. But if I saw a winning team on the pitch I couldn't care less.

What are our chances of signing the lad Jack from Aberdeen,?

Ulsterbear

1.) 14 Apr 2017 13:12:40
He's out of contract so money won't be the issue. Would think his wages would be OK too. Some in the media suggesting he's a bluenose so there's got to be a chance. Don't think he'd want to come as a squad player though. Given where he plays if he did join would that men Pedro reckons neither Rossi ter nor Crooks are going to make the grade?

2.) 14 Apr 2017 14:08:31
The only reason rossister won't make the grade is if he can't get fit other than that he would be taking the defensive midfield slot i would think

3.) 14 Apr 2017 14:34:41
I would rather have Jack than Crooks to be honest, hopefully Rossiter gets back to fitness soon and we could see a great midfield next season.

4.) 14 Apr 2017 20:18:05
Hopefully he leathers Garner when he signs 😂

5.) 14 Apr 2017 20:23:21
Ryan jack would be a regular starter at ibrox i pressume. Pedro seems to favour 4-2-3-1 and with the players we're being linked with kind of gives the impression he'll go for that

6.) 14 Apr 2017 22:34:00
He won't sign so we can forget about him

7.) 15 Apr 2017 22:46:20
I would love to see us revert back to a solid 4-4-2 or a 4-1-3-2. I think having 2 sitting in front of the back 4 is too defensive. Caixinha knows what he is doing and I really like the guy comes across as someone u do not want to get on the wrong side of and hope he has a relationship with the players that make the want to run through brick walls.

Warbs may have had that but lost it, If Caixinha had been there instead of Warbs the Barton issue would have been dealt with differently massively! At the end of the day I just want to see us playing with 2 up front and a midfield that can pass killer balls FORWARD either through the middle or seeing our wingers taking players on AND beating them. I know its not going to happen 100% of the time but we want to see the lads going for it.

If our manager was to get his p45 at the end of the season or sooner. Who would fellow bears like to see as new manager ??

Ulsterbear

1.) 02 Feb 2017 11:24:34
Who would we like and who we could get are two completely different things. Especially when we have no clue of the happenings behind the scenes to what's available or what could be available . I've been too busy checking up in the availability on centre halfs and defensive midfielders I've not had a chance to look who's available . But if we do get someone they have, have to be of a high standard and I don't think we could get anyone of that caliber. Mcinnes and Davis have been mentioned but I don't think any them could produce a great team for us to be excited about .

2.) 02 Feb 2017 12:20:39
Out of the realistic options? I would go for Tommy Wright.

In the more outlandish world? Who knows. Maybe De Boer or AVB. Never going to happen though.

3.) 02 Feb 2017 15:29:39
Jim Duffy far morton cld do a job for us, l

4.) 03 Feb 2017 13:17:00
Jim McIntyre and Billy Dodds. The Ross County dream team. I think they are very good.
