SirWalter

1.) 04 Jul 2018 12:25:12
All of them are class!

2.) 04 Jul 2018 12:32:03
They're all beautiful, can take my money anytime

3.) 04 Jul 2018 12:43:32
I think I see a sash in there 👍

4.) 04 Jul 2018 12:54:49
Well predicted. Bang on!

5.) 04 Jul 2018 13:08:01
Love them all

6.) 04 Jul 2018 13:08:31
Good info G unit think you also told us Wednesday!?

7.) 04 Jul 2018 13:09:29
Buzzing for the new tops, will they be available for the game at the weekend? Also does anyone know what's going on with this share issue that DK promised us? Not heard anything about his case with the take over panel for a while.

8.) 04 Jul 2018 13:34:36
ALL 3 new tops r beautiful, well done Hummel certainly done a better job than puma

9.) 04 Jul 2018 13:36:25
All the tops look smart, I'm glad they did not change our blue top too much, now to buy them asap

10.) 04 Jul 2018 13:51:34
G Unit.
You did say main strip was the one with the sash though

11.) 04 Jul 2018 13:55:31
To G Unit let me be first to apologise to you for ridiculing your post re a sash on one of our tops great info mate and again apologies 👍👍

12.) 04 Jul 2018 14:06:13
Murraysmint home the club said in twitter they hope to get the kits out in time for the start of the league campaign, apart from the orange one which has an October release date as far as I can tell

13.) 04 Jul 2018 14:46:46
Total embarrassment, orange top and a sash. Might buy the blue one but won't touch the other two.

14.) 04 Jul 2018 14:55:35
Fair play G unit on the Wednesday and sash shout!

All 3 tops are stunning, easily the best strips we've had in many a year.

OH please please please wear the orange kit in the first old firm!

15.) 04 Jul 2018 15:04:26
Theswagman well don't buy the other two then leaves them freed up for proper prods.

16.) 04 Jul 2018 15:21:24
Aye because the team is full of "proper prods" isn't it? Half of our best players in the last 30 years have been Catholics. I've been a Rangers season ticket holder more or less my whole life, I'm an atheist (though was raised Church Of Scotland) and I'm married to a Catholic. It's utter nonsense in this day and age and the marketing department and the board should be ashamed and embarrassed pandering to it.

17.) 04 Jul 2018 15:35:44
Aw boo hoo swagman get a tissue and dry your eyes. If your not happy with the tops and from the way i take it you don't want people wearing them, then don't turn upto ibrox because you will be seeing plenty of them

18.) 04 Jul 2018 15:38:25
Swagman, I can kind of see where you’re coming from with the orange kit, but why not just not buy it? The one with the “sash” is stunning and considering when I had it as a kid, I don’t remember ever hearing anyone being offended as if it was some link to the orange order.

Hummel are a wee company and considering the amount of people I’ve seen asking for an orange kit, I’m not shocked they’ve went for it. The fans at large hated puma, good on Hummel for listening to them even if I don’t agree with the outcome.

I’ll be buying the “sash” strip regardless of what anyone says it represents. It’s got a rangers badge on it and that’s good enough for me.

19.) 04 Jul 2018 15:42:40
Also Ger88, since you're a "proper prod", can you tell me what side of the line you stand on regarding Christ the Eucharist? Are you an Anglican, a Lutherist, an Adventist, a Baptist, a Pentecostal? Have you read Martin Luther's 95 Theses?

You don't even know what a Protestant (note no letter "D" in the word) is, so don't start trying to use it as some noble tradition to disguise institutionalised bigotry.

20.) 04 Jul 2018 15:47:01
Bankiebear I've been turning up to Ibrox every week for 30 years and tolerating the bigoted drivel from some because I love my club and will always support it and try to help bring it into the 21st century (though even the 20th century would be an improvement) . Will take more than a couple of honking strips to put me off. Doesn't change the fact that they are a disgrace.

21.) 04 Jul 2018 16:23:38
Swagman if you don't like it don't buy it - that's up to you, but don't judge others who do - Some people no doubt will buy it for the reasons you don't like it but that's not everyone either, my wee boy loved it when i showed him earlier and he's not a bigot its just bright and attractive to him (he even liked the pink Real Madrid top as well as the pink and yellow Scotland one), i'm not a bigot either but il likely buy it for no other reason than the fact it it winds up so many people who are anti-Rangers so its my way of sticking the fingers up at them.

22.) 04 Jul 2018 19:33:14
Thanks to all the lads for putting hands up re the sash strip. Can you just remember who gave it its official nickname in years to come 😉.

Ps Swagman chill out buddy it’s Only “The Sash strip my father wore”.

23.) 04 Jul 2018 19:42:00
Does anyone know if hummel tops are small made or more of a loose fit?

24.) 04 Jul 2018 21:01:54
swagman maybe you should go and find god because if a football strip makes you rant like this you have major issues

25.) 04 Jul 2018 21:28:59
Hummel have done a fantastic job. Can see these breaking records with sales quite easily.3 for me and 3 for the wee boy.

26.) 04 Jul 2018 22:16:13
Thought it was only a certain demographic of people in Glasgow getting hot and bothered by our kit launch 😂. You're right on one point though, it is the 21st century, so why are you branding them a disgrace and preaching your own opinions and views on others? This is for the most part a light hearted rumours site, so kindly preach your message of hate elsewhere. As AyrRanger said, if it sticks 2 fingers up to the rest of Scottish football then have at it. Just a pity the orange one couldn't be released in time for the walk on Saturday 😉

24 May 2018 07:34:16
looks like skrtel is of. quotes from the internet. "Martin Skrtel's agent says the the 33-year-old defender's move to Rangers from Fenerbahce is dead in the water becausethe Scottish club are finding it "impossible" to finance. ".

SirWalter

1.) 24 May 2018 07:59:30
well if Skrtel figures quoted in paper are true €4/ 5m fee and 60k a week for a 33yr old with 1yr left on his contract that just ain’t going to happen

Also defoe allegedly on 60-80k a week - nae chance

I wld luv to try and re-sign davis but won’t contradict myself based on the above but if hughes is new saints manager he tends to go for bigger stronger midfielders so you never know but days of rangers paying 30k+ wages a week are gone

we can’t go back into ridiculous debt paying players those kind of wages

id go for mcginn if rumours about lenny wanting halliday and MoH are true use them and offer cple mil on top see if we can deal it will be an investment the lad is quality and cld move on to England for big bucks I also like the cntr half at dons mckenna and full back boyle at hibs

but stevie g and allen will have their own targets just having my tuppence worth

FORZA

2.) 24 May 2018 08:05:36
Oh well. Not the first time we’ve been priced out a move, won’t be the last.

Move on to the next target.

Hope we use the money we were going to offer Skrtel to ensure we sign Bartley.

3.) 24 May 2018 08:32:39
Bartley would cost £6million plus £40,000 a week. So what makes you think we can get him if we can’t get Skrtel. Why even bother getting Gerrard if we can’t give him a fighting chance!

4.) 24 May 2018 09:36:12
I wonder if it's a case of won't pay rather than can't. At least that's what I'm hoping for. Doesn't look good if we can't back SG with his targets fellow bears.

5.) 24 May 2018 09:41:32
Bartley is too injury prone.

6.) 24 May 2018 10:25:40
Gerrard doesn't have any targets. The DOF already had them identified bdfore he got the job, Skrtel, Defoe and Lucas are not on the list. They ars only linkex because of a connectiin with gerrard. Pie in the sky

7.) 24 May 2018 10:33:58
Bartley ain't worth 6million gods knows where you got that from, also read an article that states he's on 15,000 a week

8.) 24 May 2018 10:37:09
How would you possibly know Gerrard doesn't have Any targets . Ridiculous comment

9.) 24 May 2018 10:38:12
Think guy well in thirties, one year on contract, irrespective of strengths, is NOT worth money being quoted. We could finance two class CB for cash being quoted. His appoinment would simply be a marketing exercise.

10.) 24 May 2018 10:40:57
colster, settle down, he's on 28 grand a week and he's worth 2.5-3m.

Transfer window hasn't even opened yet and your going off yer nut.

11.) 24 May 2018 10:56:30
If you think Gerrard doesn't have any targets lined up for when he walks through the door then you need to have a word with yourself. Deluded.

12.) 24 May 2018 11:00:55
Cannot afford him and he's not worth it

13.) 24 May 2018 11:28:05
those comments come from the guy. whos trying to get his client as much money as possible. course he's going to be saying stuff like this. SG isn't even officially at work yet . windows not open yet. relax guys.

14.) 24 May 2018 13:19:08
Hibsboy, I agree with you for a change. We can’t afford him, you would have to be daft to pay anywhere near that for a CB who will be 34 by the time the season is underway.

Need to spend wisely or we will end up in trouble again. Plenty other CB’s around for a lot less wages.

15.) 24 May 2018 13:35:57
Excactly bear love the banter but some of these clubs are total rip of merchants think they pull numbers out a hat .

16.) 24 May 2018 13:46:53
Hopefully the board don't start overpaying with wages and fees etc. Live within your means. If players want crazy money move to another option. SG will have players he wants to bring in.

17.) 24 May 2018 13:52:53
Goldson would be great business

18.) 24 May 2018 15:42:06
Definitely Hibsboy, it's the players also, expecting 60k a week to play in Scotland is farcical. Don't think Celtic would even dream about paying a player those kind of wages.

19.) 25 May 2018 11:41:50
King has got the season tickets sold so he is off the hook for a while. Now comes reality. There is no money. He has not complied with takeover panel therefore there can be no share issue so no £6mill for SG. Would not be surprised if SG walks before start of the season

See on here people saying Flanagan is suspended for tonight's game, This is NOT the case he has only been booked twice. he is allowed one more.

the difference between the others that "bailed out" on us and Naismith is that Naismith said the things he said, which were totally unacceptable and clearly a stab at rangers football club. he also suffered major injuries and offered a new deal therefore well looked after. and in many rangers fans opinions kind of owed it to the club to at least sign over and get some small fee for him.

i think the fact he had a heart problem is a big issue. and he hasn't played enough to be considered IMO.

I really don't think we should be taking a risk on Connor Goldson, barely played in 2 season and had heart problems. if on a free then maybe but i wouldn't like to see us wasting millions on someone unproven in recent years and major injury concerns

Marco C. if you had 2 serious illnesses and your company kept you on during these times when they could have got rid off you. and then asked you to take 50% pay cut, then went into liquidation but once in liquidation you knew you would still have a job in the same place but as a a different owner. the majority of people would feel like they owed it to the company who looked after them when they where at a bad time in their lifes.

totally agree Bugeyes. i think the subs were more to blame with loosing the goal. mccrorie should have been on for jack and candeias for murphy. the same poor subs choice cost us the goal on thursday aswell. We took off a worker in candeias and replaced with a lazy windass, who was not goal side for the goal. Not having a go at Gerrard as such as i think he may just have to learn.
