We've practically won the league at a canter but still 'fans' vilify players. Get a grip an support the team. Tav set the tone for our season.

I support the team with open eyes and unfortunately the defending i have seen in the last two matches has left much to be desired.
Not jumping on the negative band wagon; I don't want Tav replaced or Wilson dropped.
But, like many other reasonable fans I would hope that these are positions the management are looking to bolster.
SenioR, I agree that people saying they want the players gone is far fetched but some people feel that way.

The most annoying fans are those who come on here and can't see anything through the blue tinted glasses, every fan supports the team and wants to see the team win but get a grip, the defence has looked vulnerable all season.

Our two full backs are two of the best attacking full backs in Scotland and will give most fences problems next season. If we had a top quality defensive midfield player then I do not believe we would have the defensive problems that we have evidenced at times this season. I am sure that Warburton has looked at all the teams we will come up against next season and with his backroom staff has determined their strengths and their weaknesses and we will strengthen accordingly.

I've always been of the opinion if Eustace had have been fit and in the team we would have been far more sturdy in defence. Fair play to Halliday he's done a job there but it's the hardest role to play correctly I think, filling in for the full backs and protecting the CB's. Won't have done him any harm playing there for a season tho. His tackling has improved a lot. Add that in with his forward play and we could have a real player next year.

Biffo316, I'm not happy with tav's defending but I don't want us to get shot of him, not defending tav here but you have a look at the modern day full backs just now and you'll see a helluva lot that are terrific going forward but not so good at the defensive side, I'll say what I said in a previous post that I would like to see tav playing one position further forward not just saying because he's shown deficiencies in his defending aspects of his game to just get rid of him like you and a few others have stated on here, tav is a good player!

They did sign GMS on a pre contract mid Jan then agreed a fee to sign him on deadline day. This would be the best option for signing Allan I reckon if he does want to come to us.

A lot if good points well made. Billy Sharp is a player I think that would be worth spending money on. But as said wages might be a problem. Nicky Clark will get us goals. He is another player who suffered due to mismanagement. I think he'll benefit greatly with W+W coming in because he's a hard worker. The point about money is correct also. Now we have hopefully rid ourself of the leeches sucking the lifeblood from the club we can focus the money on players and infrastructure to help us move forward.

I can't believe how Waggy is seen by fans. Still accused of not being a striker. The guy is a class act and will get the important goals. He is a premier class player. All I can think about people who criticise him is a fat kid will always want more cake!

For me based on performance Danny Wilson is 3rd choice CB for me but he is capable of playing to a much higher standard than he has this season. Hopefully he'll get stuck in and show this as the campaign goes on. A midfield anchor type would be a good addition and also a striker but they are as rare as hen's teeth in January and always priced over the odds.
