So many people saying we won't sign anyone until Gerrard officially starts. Do you honestly think he's not gave a list of targets or at least talked about who he wants so the person who's job it is to secure them can start work?

Yes! It is mark Allen who has drawn up the list of targets! He told Gerrard who the targets were an he approved. He has had no input on transfers or targets as yet. We were scouting people before Gerrard was evdn under consideration.

SG input from here on in as he packs his toothbrush for D day has to be final. Maybe having daily contact with Mark Allen but from now as manager in waiting his input is final.

Rangers look to have been very smart in this window and getting deals done . Hopefully we can get a good forward a centre half and another midfielder and I would be more than happy for the coming season #letsgo.

Got to admit, I was thinking Gerrard would do what previous managers have done and underestimate what was required in terms of players. Thought it would all be youngsters from down south on loan, or people looking for one last payday. But a good bunch of the players so far will do what others have done before and use us as a stepping stone to or back to the epl, which is what we should be looking for, as they have to impress to do it. Scottish players will come to us for the name, others for a payday or Europe and get themselves in the window.

I agree we need some more defenders but strikers for me should be priority we need a minimum of 2 strikers in asap then worry about back up defenders possibly even another decent cm.

Don't think the world cup will hold up our targets can't see many if any will be away playing in it so should be be able to get business done

I would pay 1.3 just for someone to take him he's dreadfull. All funds should be going towards midfield and strikers. Not sure how a feel about the big boy from roma from that interview he looks as if he struggles just to be able to talk never mind score goals
