I can assure you that everything I have said is true and I know if it wasn't, then Union Jack would have been pointing out the errors.

As they say, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Therefore, it is up to you if you wish to ignore the truth.

@Punter - Does the truth hurt you that much that you need to resort to putting your fingers in your ears?

Do you think Walter would be tempted back with a budget consisting solely of ginger bottles and embassy coupons?

Stirling, no one has to explain why Rangers are in debt as it is very simple. The reason your club are in debt is because they spend more than they make, i. e. you are a loss making entity.

With regards to the current retail deal, none of us know what it is and Dave King is a proven liar so his words can't be trusted. When the old deal was allegedley scrapped Dave King told everyone that Rangers ripped up the contract but later we found out that he had paid Ashley 3 million pound, so what else did he not tell us?

By the way even the best possible retail deal will not reverse your fortunes as that will only bring about 4 million profit extra a season and you are already having to borrow more than that to balance the books.

You are probably not aware but if you read the last set of audited accounts for Rangers you will know that Rangers currently owe over 41 million in loans, half of which are soft loans to the current directors and the other half are third party loans. This figure does not include the 3 million secured loan from Close Brothers or any money Dave King said he would pump in this season, circa 4.5 million. If you add these amounts to the last known debt level, the current debt is close to 50 million.

You don't have to be a financial wizard to know that Rangers' can't continually spend more than they make or they will reach a point where they cannot meet payments when they are due. At the moment Rangers revenue for next season has already taken a 4 million hit because of the close brother loan repayment, which will be paid using next season's season ticket money. This means borrowing will increase next season, unless Rangers can find a new revenue stream, which is unlikely.

A word of advice for everyone, is don't trust a word Dave King says, as his list of lies are extensive. Only last summer he told the Rangers fans to buy season tickets and that all proceeds would go to buying players. However, he later stated that the summer signings were financed by loans from current directors. Then recently we found out that Rangers only spent 3.5 million last summer, which is no were near the amount brought in from season ticket sales.

This is what happens when you shop at Poundland. The players you can afford are usually sub par or have defects.

It was against a very poor Dundee side.

I think the best you can hope for would be Jack Ross and he would need to be given time to develop players.

It will likely be Tommy Wright though.

The problem is, no one would want to buy any of them, with the exception of maybe Windass, who you could get 500K for.

Rangers are still on coarse for second and have it in their own hands at the moment. However, it will not be easy as it is a close race for second.

My money is on Hibs for second by the way.
