Rangers (& hearts) linked with 19 year old Hamza Choudhury - highly rated Leicester youngster - Any truth in this.

Caution to be exercised when the source is HITC. Their report on a bid coming in for Barjonas from Norwich turned out to be true right enough.

Are Rangers in for Domingos Quina on loan? Portuguese "Wonderkid" @ West Ham.

Would just like to congratulate the Celtic fans, for their prophetic banner the other night "champions laegue, you're having a laugh". Exactly what I was thinking when I saw them play, today. Rumours that Brendan Rodgers actually made it, and it was aimed at their board, have yet to be confirmed.

League it should have read. for once they did actually get their spelling right. Sutton dogsick on b t sport today - raging Mcginn got an assist for villa. Hope we get 3 points in style tomorrow, and sicken big stubbsy as well. C'mon the Gers!

2.) 11 Aug 2018 20:36:05
Brilliant boys brilliant . I think I’ve died and went to heaven.

3.) 11 Aug 2018 21:49:06
Where are all these obsessed,
rebrobates of celtic fans tonight,
who usually scour our pages? I'll tell you where, they're under their beds hiding, getting biscuits flung into them every now and again, from members of their families! Don't let them kid you fellow bears, they're worried about our closing the gap!
There's major disharmony within their camp and they know it! let's go!

1 mill for a 30 yr old with a year left on his contract. Hearts are a f#@##ng joke. They called our offer for Jamie walker insulting, and then sold him for the same price. We can't do business with scottish clubs in the premiership; They are all at it. Unless we can nick their youngsters, or get people on pre contracts, then we should just stay away from them. They all tried to kill our club (Kilmarnock excluded) . We should hurt these clubs whenever we can, not provide them with any further funds, because the attitude that voted us down still prevails, and if you think I'm being petty, fair enough, but I don't think we can afford to stick our head in the sand, and pretend this isn't happening. Their attitude won't change unless we make it change by smart operating practices. Anyway, rant over; the Eddie Munster comment has already cheered me up; off to the brox later, with my 2 boys. Copland front, Behind the goal; can't wait. We're not great Yet, but we are improving- 3 clean sheets! is testament to that. RTID.

I have previously stated on hear That all we doing with these low ball offers to other teams is isulting them therefor the will not won't to deal with us.
lafferty may be in his last year of his contract but he also scored 19 goals last season so hearts where never going sell him on the cheap.
We should have put a fair bid off 500k in and tain it from there.

2.) 29 Jul 2018 11:52:51
I'm not surprised tbh. Think we've brought this on ourselves with the £200k offer. If we'd went in slightly higher then hearts might have been willing to talk. I'd like to get Lafferty back but I think we're now needing him to submit a transfer request or I fear the deal won't happen.

3.) 29 Jul 2018 12:03:09
Craig it’s not insulting them. You don’t bid high on your first bid.

Hes in his last year of his contact, Hearts paid nothing for him. He’s worth half a million and no more on his final year I’m afraid.

Paying over the odds for players is how you get yourself into a mess financially, mind that thing that happened to us 6 years ago?

Celtic are doing the same thing with John McGinn and they are entitled to do it, their first bid well under what Hibs want, but as per usual Hibs and Hearts will play hard and they will end up with nothing. McGinn isn’t worth 2m on his last year and Lafferty isn’t worth around 1m on his last year either.

4.) 29 Jul 2018 12:29:03
Lafferty walks out the door for nothing next year, if hearts feel our bid is unacceptable fine we acknowledge this and move on . If there is another club that matches hearts valuation sell him to them it’s that simple . please do not pretend you are insulted, Anne Budge is a successful businesswoman she never got there paying over the odds for everything. is Tom English a successful businessman no he’s not but he would appear to be the one most upset with the bid. Celtic want to talk about ticket allocations, this is the club that rubbed our noses in it at every turn and they think we should discuss things with them, swivel.

5.) 29 Jul 2018 14:22:53
So we have to put high bids in for players from other teams, yet they want to take our players either on loan or for nothing and don't want to pay us a penny, doesn't sound right to me,
When was the last time a scottish club paid Rangers decent money for a player?

6.) 29 Jul 2018 14:29:55
Lafferty is worth 500k plus add ons nobother if use think otherwise then that's your opinion and our club will never get him for 200k so they best move to next target
We have done it with every player we bid for from scotland and am yet to see a player join us after bidding so low.

7.) 29 Jul 2018 15:38:27
Hearts owe rangers nothing, why sell your 1st team players to your rivals cheaply.

8.) 29 Jul 2018 15:41:20
Yeah our board are yet again an embarrassment although Hearts haven’t helped themselves either. Rather than getting other teams backs up with ridiculous offers we should engage with them and start building bridges. The board should also hang their head in shame if SG only has £500k left to sign players, they gave PC over double that.

9.) 29 Jul 2018 18:59:03
Hollow hang your own head . leave the board alone. Stevie is the manager it’s his decision. When will people realise the board backbthe management team in decisions

They backed Pedro and they backed the magic . if dosnt work out that’s life. Onenof the worst decisionsvat ibrox in
years was to ket Darren McGregor go to be replaced by
Rob Kiernan. that was the magic hat but I still applaud the board fo backing him. . without this board we would be dead. ;;. get it into your heads now ;; cheers for that Stevie.

10.) 29 Jul 2018 19:01:49
embarrassment, you pay what your think a player is worth. if you think lafferty is worth 500k then you don't offer 500k because guess what that offer will be rejected. that's the way business works. you put in an offer, they reject claiming he's worth x amount and then ideally you meet somewhere in the middle. Embarrassment is really strong for a board who has forked out an absolute fortune over the last 3 seasons.

Those of us who stay. and or work, in Glasgow; look out for this sight. Visually, it is one of the funniest things you will ever see. That wee tw*# Griffiths, driving his huge, ugly, horrible green car. It looks like boss baby driving a humner. It is f#@*ing hilarious. Absolute comedy gold. Someone should tell him. actually, nah. Everyone has to see this.

Brilliant cannot wait . hope I get a photie . he's the worst of the worst . don't know any players in the history of Scottish football Celtic or rangers behaving the way him and brown fir that matter do . ok garza but that was sheer ignorance and he wasn't slow in apologising . could you ever imagine tommy gemmil . billy McNeil John greig sandy jardine wiping their snot on an opposing teams corner flag or any of the other stuff he does. he is nothing but a pure ned and can't be surprised when he attracts that culture. and when he does it's poor me poor brooney
And more. To point he gets away with it Scott free. whatever happened to the ungentlemanly conduct. he should get the book flung at him. Rodgers should be ashamed for allowing it. . very befitting of the so called great club. don't see anyone else in world football behaving like this

2.) 03 Jun 2018 17:42:08
Too true molsgoals. It would have never happened in those days. You would have been pulled aside by one of your own team and told in no uncertain terms to quit it.

3.) 03 Jun 2018 18:10:42
Riff not even in those days . nowadays . he's the only imbecile in world football that I kn off that behaves like that and brown is not far behind. maybe The green posters on here may enlighten us but no doubt they will play it diwn as banter. . well it's dangerous banter and if any of our boys did it we would not let them away wi it. Imagine Andy Halliday up at parkhead waving a Union Jack . no I don't think so .

Andy Carroll? Omg

1.) 25 May 2018 10:13:17
If we can’t afford Skrtels wages we can’t afford Andy Carroll’s, thank feck.

2.) 25 May 2018 18:28:46
This issue about ticket allocation is a dangerous one. We know we can fill Ibrox every home game but if reduce Tic allocation they will simply respond tit for tat and we'll end up with 5000 allocation for piggery. The only positive is that the St John stones and Killie will be sweating at massive loss of revenue if we vote with feet and don't go.

More chance of Celtic signing him; he did proclaim his love of them when he left us. Ridiculous and embarrassment to suggest we should sign him.

Buy out clause is 3 mill, isn"t It? So we'd be nuts to sell for less, if as you say he is looking for the move. If he isn't I wouldn't sell him.

Looks like your going to be right about the 1st two, 123gers; but Windass leaving? For 2 million? That reminds me more of that Dutch player We were linked with - Bloiin ootyererse.

Reading between the lines; if Eddie Howe has agreed to this loan, I suspect he has been given some assurances re potential game time; i. e. we are going to play 3 at the back; maybe not every game at first, but I've always thought this was SG's overall preference; purely based on my own interpretation of some of his comments.

Strange Stevie G never mentioned it when quizzed by the press 're buying LC, because of his impact. There ain't no (sanity) clause, I fear.

Watched it back @ half time - it's a kick, and it's a sending off. What a fool. Aberdeen fouling at will, though. Both shinnie and the wee drowning rat should have been booked, by now.

McKay will be a massive success. He was a player in amongst journeyman when he was with us. That can do terrible things to a player's confidence and consistency; and affect even those with a great attitude/ appetite for the game - the area in which, I suspect, BMcK needs most managing. I watched Davie Cooper suffer in the same way in the early eighties.

Those of you who are on here saying he is rubbish, I understand why, but have to totally disagree; to me, it shows you are looking at football in a completely one dimensional way, and failing to understand the dynamics of what is, after all, a team game. No one player can make a team. It is an outrage that we sold him and something that will always irk me. He was sold by a man who brought in Dalcio, Cardoso etc. Enough said.
