Murdoch and the boy Thompson should go to a SPFL team on loan for 6 months see how the do. Hardie I would keep and play in the cups and late on in games, see what he can do. I think this year will be really competitive and the young guys could struggle for game time.

I guess values have changed over the years. Not that many years ago if you were brought up to be a rangers fan it was in your blood and there would be only one club for you. Unfortunately these days we live in a money driven culture. I would expect Scott Allan's family will be very disappointed. If only he could have waited a few months to fulfill his dreams.

Does anyone know what Newcastles plans for Vuckic - has he made their squad.
I know that it is very unlikely based our issues with Mr Ashley, but I think Vuckic would fit into the MW/DW ethos.

With a view to a safe pair of hands and getting the team going in the right direction again we require experience, therefore I would go with big Eck, Murty and Alex Rae. With a view to Murty possibly taking over in a couple of years.
