There's talk of Andy Halliday playing left back on Thursday night if this happens I think we are in for a long night can not remember the last time this guy had decent game never mind a good one for us Tin Hats on.

Funny how our fans have this unhealthy obsession regarding Halliday but are pishing their frillies to bring back Kyle Lafferty. For a start even I know Halliday is not the best player in the squad but he is reliable and solid enough to do a job. As far as I can remember Halliday has never let us down. Lafferty on the other hand is f%#@£n hopeless. Granted scored a worldey on Saturday but other than that he was dug sh*te! I truly hope Halliday has an absolute stormer on Thursday and ram it right up you all!

Colster I don’t think you can compare the two! Lafferty scores big goals for us, I don’t particularly want him back I would rather we got better but he was successful in his time at us before. When was the last time Halliday never let us down the guy is taking a large wage and is only at us because nobody else wants him! He must have a good attitude and is happy to be a squad player hence why Stevie likes him but if he was reliable he would be playing simple! Away fans don’t sing your name if your a good player and that’s a fact.

Colster, never let us down? The guy is a bombscare, can you not remember he got brought of after Celtic last year only 30 mins in because he was so bad! He’s rank rotten and a complete liability. If he wasn’t a rangers fan you’d be saying get him out the door. You can’t even compare him and lafferty in the same sentence. Lafferty is classes above Halliday.

Albeit Lafferty is not the most talented player in the world, he's played around 70 games for his country, played at a Euro finals (because his goals helped them get their in the qualifiers), scored goals in every title decider (titles 52, 53 and 54).
I'm not bashing Halliday, but what has he done in comparison?

Tbf that game against them I think you could have easily taken off anyone. Everyone in a light blue jersey let themselves down that day, to put the blame soley on Halliday is a little harsh. Obviously the manager must know something you critics don't, strange one that and whilst I'm not suggesting Halliday is a world beater it just seems folk are too quick to try and find a whipping boy. He never put a foot wrong when he came on at the weekend.

Yes everyone was rank rotten that game, so that makes it even worse that he was the one that was brought off. He’s not rangers quality and it’s as simple as that. Barjonas is a better player.

Halliday should do OK slotting into LB for this one, granted he's not great but he's experienced enough just to stick to his task and see the tie through.

Halliday attitude is 100% spot on and Stevie G loves what he’s bringing to the squad esp around training ground. He’s not the most talented but he gives every ounce to the club. He deserves the fans to back him, if his own fans can’t do that then it’s embarrassing. Every player that’s pulls on the jersey deserves full backing! FANS need to get off his case.

Great performance yesterday but need to momentum going by going out getting two more strikers and defender if do that we will be well in the hunt come the next window.

Why do we need 4 Strikers? We have Sadiq and Morelos already so I would think we only need one more to give us options. Having 4 strikers would leave one of them collecting a wage for just turning up at training. With the current turn in form for Morelos no one is taking his place so whoever comes in will most likely join Sadiq on the bench anyway. However if we do get to the group stages of EL then we will need to rotate the squad as games come thick and fast and also the travel for Thursday games can be a pain in terms of getting a team ready for a Sunday.

2 more? maybe 1 striker (ideally someone who can play deeper if required i. e number 10) We desp need a Centre back and i'd say we need another midfield player. However if rossiter is due back soon then that could help with the depth in that position. I think we will sign another 2 players this window.

No wonder Windass has left or is leaving. The amount of abuse he has taken is disgraceful. I'll say again, where would we have finished last season without his goals? Bet everyone who has a go at him on these pages were celebrating when he scored against them at Ibrox in March. Good luck Josh and hopefully you'll not get the abuse at Wigan/ Ipswich as you did here.

Also wait to he rattles in a few goals, it will be we should never have sold him.
