This Messi talk is just some mug in the DailyRebel getting mixed up with the Peruvian 'Messi' Ruidiaz that we were linked with and calling Pena the Mexican Messi.
Pena play style isn't even remotely similar to Messi, he doesn't dribble that much with the ball, more like a Lampard style with tidy touches, passing and movement.

Don't know where you are hearing these 'rumours' but I doubt we would be able to prize a player of his calibre and popularity away. Colombian international and has a wand of a right foot. Have watched him play about a dozen times and has always impressed with his technique, though his work rate could be better.
By the looks of it his current club Monterrey have also just loaned him to Pachuca for the season July 2017 until July 2018.

The only thing I would say is that there is a difference between celebrating a goal and goading opposition fans with 'get it up yae' gestures. You can't honestly argue that this is acceptable behaviour for any manager of a football team to direct towards the opponents fans.
Yet again refereeing decisions were laughable at times but some of the reaction like signing a petition is a bit over the top. I thought Caixinha handled it well in his post match interview by inviting the referee to have a look at the footage after the game and to hold himself accountable, without getting into any sort of war of words with the match officials through the press.

McLean can play all across the midfield, even out wide same as dorrans can. Ok not a natural winger but he is a talented footballer and versatile.

Judging a player from 1 competitive outing is ludicrous. Imagine teams gave up on diego forlan when he couldn't score for man Utd in what was it? 30 games or something? He then went on to win the world cup golden boot and best player awards as well as regularly scoring over 15/ 20/ 25 goals a season for Villarreal and athletico Madrid.

Herrera needs time, caixinha brought him here knowing he was in poor form, it was 1 or 2 seasons before when he was playing under caixinha that he had his best 2 seasons and was scoring plenty. I believe he was a little bit of a risk but one that can for sure pay off, again I'd say he needs at least 4-6 weeks to get some sharpness and confidence and if we are not seeing his best form by then I would be concerned, but please lay off the guy he has produced in the past and you are basically showing a lack of faith in the manager by not backing his player.
As for a 20 goal striker, it's not crucial if you have goals throughout the team. If we sign McLean and walker, then we will have an industrious and creative midfield with goals from all areas. Morelos and Herrera can prove to be our main men up top with the likes of walker, Windass, Pena, dorrans, McLean etc who could all be regular goalgetters between them.

I watched the highlights on youtube to see Mckays goal and that was exactly what happened going from them. The only highlights for Notts was Mckays goal followed by Millwall missing chance after chance after chance.
