Guys,

The click bait from DR is in overdrive regarding Veerman. I see no substance whatsoever in this deal.

1.) 16 Jul 2021 12:37:48
Except for multiple dutch media outlets reporting it as well?

2.) 16 Jul 2021 12:52:05
Rangers won't be signing veerman unless someone goes its what I think I said lundstram wouldn't sign but I knew he was more likely to sign than veerman as he never cost anything he was a free transfer rangers won't pay 10 million for veerman i would be surprised.

3.) 16 Jul 2021 13:03:00
Blue bear apparently its 7 million. We could probly afford that rid off a couple squad players and couple loans out maybe I dunno. It would be great to see him at the famous!

4.) 16 Jul 2021 13:10:30
I’d love to see him here too, however I’d like to hear about it from the Club. And I also agree we have to shift dead wood. Ross Wilson knows what he’s doing so time will tell chaps.

5.) 16 Jul 2021 13:32:19
Someone yesterday said it was on sky so it must be true 🤯.

6.) 16 Jul 2021 13:37:03
I think it's going to be Kamara out for 10m plus and Veerman in for around 7-8m. Still banking a few million to clear some debts. I don't want Kamara to go but if the moneys right I'm sure he's off.

7.) 16 Jul 2021 13:58:13
MOCBear it's being reported that ayer is going for 13.5 million with 1 year on Contract why would we sell kamara for just 10.

8.) 16 Jul 2021 15:21:48
It all depends on what someone is willing to pay?
And how desperate they are to sign a certain player.

9.) 16 Jul 2021 15:31:04
Mocbear if everyone was fit Kamara is on the bench.

10.) 16 Jul 2021 16:37:44
Blue bear on a few posts you have been very adamant that rangers ain't signing any1 any time soon. Tell us all why your so adamant.

11.) 16 Jul 2021 16:50:45
Livi bear kamara should never be on the bench when everyone is fit.

12.) 16 Jul 2021 16:57:54
Storm trooper why? Whos he replacing. We lose less goals with davis and jack.

13.) 16 Jul 2021 19:18:40
Kamara 10 million honestly wish yous lot valued houses 😂.

14.) 16 Jul 2021 21:06:28
Some of the absolute nonsense you see from some of the folk on these pages are laughable, guys thinking they know stuff when they know jack, guys constantly moaning about anything, you’d think this was a celtic page at times! Geez peace! Especially folk like “optimizm”, I think you’ve got the wrong name as your handle!

15.) 16 Jul 2021 21:11:25
Paul kamara starts for me every game he is the best midfielder we have just my opinion.

16.) 16 Jul 2021 21:12:02
Also Paul Jack missed a lot of games last year and we were unbeaten with kamara playing the majority.

17.) 17 Jul 2021 06:19:05
Only if we sell Kamara for around 12million then I could see it happening if the player wants to come that is. That would be 7million for Veerman and 5million to help go in to balance the books, to me that's the only way I see this happening. But don't want Kamara to leave would love him to sign a new deal but fear Goldson is leaving or he would of signed the new deal on offer by now.

18.) 17 Jul 2021 07:25:19
@Paul86 Kamara is the twice the player Ryan Jack is.

19.) 17 Jul 2021 08:44:48
Stormtrooper I’m with you mate he’s by far the best technically and and I don’t see any premiership clubs sniffing around our other midfielders.

20.) 17 Jul 2021 11:29:08
Technically he and all our midfielders are a mile behind Davis. Kamara is a great player and for me we should be looking for 15 at least and that's a C.V. value. He has shown domestically, in Europe and also on international duty that he is a good quality player. If he was even in the championship down south they would be demanding 20million+ for him. Don't know why we keep undervaluing our players.

21.) 17 Jul 2021 11:51:45
Glasgowranger jack more valuable to the side tho. 1st name down when fit the gaffer has confirmed this. Also when all 3 are fit kamara finds himself on the bench. Has a had a great season tho and if he stays would easily be able to replace davis when he hangs the boots up and be starting week in week out. don't think he will be here that long tho. Possibly it is due to bei g in and out the side.

22.) 17 Jul 2021 12:24:01
I am definitely with the Kamara camp on this one. I believe him to be one of our most gifted midfield players alongside Steve Davis. This is not being disrespectful to Ryan Jack. When fit Jack is a very good player but he isn't as good as either Kamara or Davis and worryingly his fitness is always an issue.

23.) 17 Jul 2021 17:31:56
For the guys who prefer Kamara to Jack can I ask what u think Kamara does better than Jack? Think both are great players but Jack is better for me, Reasons He’s the best in Scotland at breaking play and Recycling the ball, Better tackler scores more, more of a physical presence? Only My opinion just wondered what everyone else thought?

24.) 17 Jul 2021 17:55:11
G-bone,

It shows your fragility calling me out for my “ handle” when instead of discussing my post all you care about is 3 letters in my username. ( which I chose when we were demoted) .

Rangers have six weeks in an open transfer market. Veerman will not be joining.

55🇬🇧.

25.) 17 Jul 2021 20:18:34
With Ofoborh having to go see a specialist that's us a cm down at least in the short term, if you're so sure Veerman isn't joining may I ask you to look into your crystal ball and share the lotto results with us all please? Wealth shared and all that.

26.) 17 Jul 2021 20:32:21
R1 no one sniffing about Jack to buy him is there? Kamara by far the better footballer and I like Jack but he ain’t as good a player.

Paul that’s was a long long time ago SG said that things change.

27.) 17 Jul 2021 22:25:55
They are 2 different players to be fair kamara is better in my opinion and will go on to play in the epl at one stage probably sooner than later Jack does break the ball up more but technically kamara is above Jack and is younger
Also think lundstram will replace Jack as they are similar players.

28.) 17 Jul 2021 22:30:56
That’s because A jacks injuries and B his age, if he’s 24 with no injuries it’s a different story, Question was why do u think he’s better what’s he better at than Jack I literally can only think carrying the ball (which he’s class at) someone Else pointed it out when everyone was fit Kamara as in the bench Jack was 1st in the team sheet. SG n Gary Mac 2 of the best CMs of my era favour Jack.

29.) 18 Jul 2021 01:29:10
R1, they favour a fully fit Jack, which is totally different. You cannot plan a season hoping some players might be available for some of the time, and sadly I really don't see Jack ever being reliable enough.

30.) 18 Jul 2021 11:49:33
My thoughts exactly tavson, I think lundstrum and Jack will battle out that position down to jacks fitness issues.

31.) 18 Jul 2021 12:20:32
Kamara far more technically gifted, better on ball also.

32.) 18 Jul 2021 17:32:38
Kamara is valued at £5.4m from transfer market. com which would suggest £10m+ would be a fair price for him to be sold.
Incidentally the same site has Rangers full squad valued at £97m and Celtics at £75m including Edouard who is valued at £15m.
This is 1st time since I’ve been using their page for past 5 years that our playing squad is valued higher.
It’s interesting especially as we have a number of important players who have little market value due mainly to their age like McGregor, Defoe and Arfield.

Guys, bit of a different post ( I am delighted however about us keeping Jermaine, he is THE example for our youth) .

Had Sky Sports on earlier and watched in disbelief as “ Journalists” quizzed Phil Foden on his haircut for 20 minutes? .

No wonder Sir Alex banned his teams from wearing coloured boots. he saw this nonsense coming.

BTW, Sakala interview about Rangers on Twitter is fab!

1.) 08 Jun 2021 19:24:50
Hopefully Jermaine gets involved with all the teams that train at Murray Park.
What a privilege that would be for any youngster getting coached by one of the best professionals and goal scorers Britain has ever produced.
The guys in our first team will be learning from him never mind the youngsters.

2.) 08 Jun 2021 20:15:58
I'm happy for jd signing but just hopethisdoesnt come from our player budget as can see him playing a couple of games only.

25 May 2021 18:14:11
Just a question to throw out there guys. Now Glasgow CC have said clear up bill for George SQ debacle is £58,000, including damage repairs. What's your thoughts guys on The people who disobeyed the messaging from our Club, and the Police, and arrogantly posted about organising this March on the City Centre. Do these people have Rangers Football Club at heart? Or are these so called fans just as rogue now as the other mobs " Brigade"

Optimizm

1.) 25 May 2021 19:46:27
In my opinion those who broke lock down rules are a disgrace to the club the way they behaved was an embarrassment to RFC the days of singing sectarian songs should be left behind our manager is RC and a load of our players are RC the club are trying hard to rid us of this but some will not move into the modern world as for certain MSPs they should think before they post on Twitter all they have done is fan the flames of hate but the behaviour all the way to George Swuare and in the square was a disgrace and only those who caused this damage need to answer for it.

2.) 25 May 2021 19:56:24
Thanks twacoos. you can’t stop someone buying a footbal strip or a flag and attaching themselves to a Club externally, however, you CAN identify those within UB’s who drag our club into the gutter and then think it’s ok to start coming back into the stadium next season.

3.) 25 May 2021 19:56:52
Anyone denying they damaged statues, and pissed everywhere, are as bad as them

The people hanging of statues which are a very very important part of our city’s history, are not real Rangers fans

I would be very surprised if the cost isn’t far more than that

These people know exactly what they were doing, they knew there’s was going to be running battles, stabbing and rangers name would be dragged through the dirt,

They didn’t care,

4.) 25 May 2021 20:13:57
Optimizm : sorry I agree I’d like to know how many actually attend games and if any who are found guilty in a court of law should be banned for life to show people like that are not welcome inside Ibrox we need to get away from all this we have a squad from all backgrounds and they deserve the respect of the fans.

5.) 25 May 2021 20:19:01
Agree Tomthumb12.

I just don’t want Rangers to get in a position like that lot across the road where they accommodated a vile mob who pose as fans. Rangers should be better than that and I hope work is going on behind the scenes to identify and expel the offenders.

6.) 25 May 2021 20:30:20
56 grand utter lies it was 4 guys way brushes and a street sweeper a wonder how much it will cost to clean Glasgow green fan zone.

7.) 25 May 2021 20:36:44
Additionally, with a European campaign coming up and those scenes in George Sq going world wide, we can’t give UEFA a single reason to hammer us due to our previous. . you can only communicate with these people with action because they never listened to the plea by The Club the claim to support.

I agree with you twacoos. If proven you were in George SQ which was illegal in itself under the level 3 lockdown laws, and you are convicted of a crime it should be a lifetime ban.

8.) 25 May 2021 20:55:21
East Belfast

58k includes damage to statues. Did you personally see the 4 street cleaners?

They should not have been there behaving like baboons attaching themselves and the vile sectarianism to Rangers Football Club. Our Roman Catholic Manager stood shoulder to shoulder with Glen Kamala when he was racially abused AND YET, these muppets who DO NOT represent to proud traditions of RFC don’t even seem to be potty trained never mind capable of understanding basic instructions from Rangers or the police and that is because THE ARE NOT FANS!

9.) 25 May 2021 21:00:45
So snp have came out and said if Glasgow is still level 3 there still going ahead with fan zone couldn't make it up.

10.) 25 May 2021 21:15:35
How much of this is passed down from generation to generation, the and whole Orange order rhing? I was naive as a teenager and sang those songs but eventually grew up. The Protestant Catholic thing is ingrained in Scottish society starting with segregated schools. If kids see their parents spouting Sectarian bile then they will too.

11.) 25 May 2021 21:29:59
The majority of songs a can hear fans sing is ever sat we follow but am sure if u look hard enough to find ones were or other add ons u will find them.

12.) 25 May 2021 21:57:06
I agree East Belfast, the problem we have is that the media and the other mob and the SFA and the SNP are not interested in the 95% sensible law abiding fans - they want to portray the other 5% of idiots who cannot drag themselves out of the dark ages, as being THE NORM. I’ve got a cousin with a life ban because he couldn’t sing a song without inserting an “” - he’s been banned for 15 years now and it has still not taught him a lesson - so if guilty of an offence which could damage our multi-cultural, multi-faith club. keep them away from official RFC events, Games etc.

The threat of Strict Liability (Guilty by Association inside or outside the Stadium - with the liability on the Club ) can never be enforced or proven in a court of law. If it could you’ll have fans buying rival strips committing crimes to get the other team in bother. . but let’s not give the SNP any more independence ammo.

Represent Rangers with dignity whether player or supporter. You represent our club. Just think on that fellow Gers fans. When those colours are on, you represent Rangers Football Club.

13.) 26 May 2021 00:49:23
Not that it matters, but our manager is not an RC. He chose to go to a catholic school for football reasons. As for the rest of it, most of you are correct. How can we possibly call out the east end **** when some of our so-called fans behave that way? I have faced them up in places from Barcelona to Munich and even on planes, and it's time we all did.

14.) 26 May 2021 05:39:00
Otimizm if the club banned everybody at george square we may very soon find our selves bankrupt again. U have no idea how many ST holder were there. They may all have been. It was always going to happen. People out with glasgow were celebrating in beer gardens up and down the uk. Just cause you were at george square or ibrox does not merit a ban.

15.) 26 May 2021 07:07:15
100% correct Paul as the majority of fans behaved as well that day it was a minority that didn’t.

16.) 26 May 2021 09:23:21
Stop rising to the bait .

£58000 is equal to 250 guys working for a day along with 5 street cleaning machines and 10l of bleach.

It didn’t happen but the headlines it made has Rangers fans in a tizzie.

17.) 26 May 2021 10:55:53
Ya son loyal your statement re Gerrard not being a Roman Catholic is wrong mate. He is.
I had a debate with 2 others on the site over a month ago and went away and done my research and he is. His whole family are, and so are his wife’s. As u say not that it matters? It kind of does matter mate as some “fans” can’t stop singing about F the pope and feni** b’s and awe the rest when the guy in our dugout who they all claim to adore like a god is a Catholic. Along with his whole family and many many of our current squad ie borna and Alfie just to name a few. We’ve had Catholic captains in amoruso so tbh mate it does matter. It’s beyond hypocrisy and beyond a joke.
Gerrard was married in a Roman Catholic ceremony, I previously typed the exact date and place this took place, to be married Roman Catholic u must be Roman Catholic. End of point really.
However I delved into his family and how his older cousin John-Paul (named after the pope of the time) who died in the Hillsborough tragedy had been an alter boy at the local Catholic Church, other cousins with names like Anthony and thingswhich to me are Catholic names. There was more to it than that but I looked right into it.
Gerrard atrended a Catholic primary school which I named, this was prior to the “sports academy” which he later attended and although he chose that on the advice of his p. e teacher for its superior football teams he would have been going to a Catholic high school regardless. Go do your homework mate 👍🏼.

18.) 26 May 2021 15:02:49
I don't have to do any homework, I interviewed him in November 2000. I also read his autobiography which confirms my previous post. To be married RC you must be RC? What does that even mean? I have family and friends who were married in RC churches who were not, and still are not, RCs. Gerrard attended Huyton with Roby Primary, a Church of England school. He left there to go to Cardinal Heenan RC school because he was advised to do so for football reasons as it came under the Liverpool authority while his local secondary did not. The rest of your post hardly bears comment. Go do some real homework mate, instead of trying to pass off your notions and nonsense as fact.

19.) 26 May 2021 15:05:36
Paul 86

Read my post mate, I said if anyone was convicted of an offence they should be banned - or would the Lawyers defence to the judge be “ My Lord - you simply cannot ban my client in case Rangers go skint again? ”

Football fans are subject to the Laws of the Land like everyone else - there cannot be an exception.

20.) 26 May 2021 15:05:41
By the way, ingerrardwetrust, he never attended an 'academy' as he was not selected for Lillieshall.

21.) 26 May 2021 15:11:52
DK19

2 questions:

1. Does the 10l of bleach in you cleaning estimate repair physical damage to physical property in George Sq? Including restoration of statues?

2. You say “It didn’t happen”. What “didn’t happen? ”.

22.) 26 May 2021 15:19:44
Well researched and explained Ingerrard mate.

This sectarianism is a Scots and Irish thing, I've said before I worked Down South for several years and never ever encountered Catholic or Protestant sectarianism .

I did meet some anti Scots racism and my name was the statutory "Jock".

Things changed after a few days when we got to know each other on first name terms (my real name is Billy) Bill by the way guys.

23.) 26 May 2021 16:00:17
Blubilly, 'well researched'? You're having a laugh, it's completely made up fantasy! Even a desultory wikipedia check will show you that in about 5 seconds. It quite clearly says that although NOT a Catholic and living outside the catchment area, Gerrard attended Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School upon the recommendation of his primary school teacher, whose husband was a PE teacher there, due to its superior football reputation over more local schools. There was me thinking every real fan would have known that, it's our great manager's life we are talking about here.

24.) 26 May 2021 17:23:43
FACT - Gerrard is not a RC, not that it matters anyway.
FACT - a report confirms the statues required repair work as far back as 2019.
FACT - Rangers already punish all fans by removing their season tickets if they have been found guilty of misdemeaners whilst "representing" the club.
FACT - 2 other gatherings in George Square ( both in support of Palestine ) the week previously and the following day to the Rangers celebration show these demonstrators climbing statues and standing on raised flower beds.
OPINION - it wasn't the big bad UB's fault.
Now none of the above makes the action of a few ( 28 arrests ) ok.

25.) 26 May 2021 18:47:05
Ok guys, so I'm wrong again (nothing new there) .

That's what I get for not doubting a poster's post that looked like it was well researched to me.

Ah well, spose just have to not believe a word of any posts.

He sits deep amost as a third centre back. We didn't press high because of thursday the players were shattered. Ibrox will be a different game.

2.) 03 Sep 2018 17:47:22
We were totally overrun in midfield and outhought. Ejaria and Kent perhaps overhyped as they are young and still learning their trade although Ejaria looked good against the Russians. I think Stevie G realised were still a long way behind the mhankis and that's why he set up with such a defensive formation. Hope this Albanian guy can beat a man as, despite having two wingers, Tav is the only guy we have that can beat a man and put a cross in.

3.) 03 Sep 2018 18:28:13
Tav's crosses are murder usually well overhit.

4.) 03 Sep 2018 20:15:50
Cris is totally right we were shattered . how many teams do you hear of . major teams who come back from a massive journey away then lose to a lesser team never mind the Manks. I think it will work in our favour and only make the team work like demons to take the smirk from their coupons . If any of the team including Stevie saw the goings on after the final whistle they now know what it’s all about . and will vow never to let it happen orbput our fans thru that again . Rodgers should be ashamed for condoning brown and griffis.

5.) 03 Sep 2018 21:19:25
Don't agree with you whatsoever DEEB! Tavernier's deliveries are usually terrific! I think you've been watching his brother marcus tavernier's deliveries, instead of our captain james tavernier's deliveries!

03 Sep 2018 09:08:34
First post guys. Just wanted to put a point of view across. SG has had quite a learning curve. 13 games, 1 defeat. He's endured arguably a seasons experience in 10 weeks. 8 Euro qualifiers undefeated, 2Draws and 1win and 1 defeat away from home in the league. Player problems with injury and discipline.

He now gets a breather with his staff to analyse what has to be done between now and January. I have every confidence he will learn, adapt and change.

No matter what any other supporter in Scotland says, NOT ONE of them would have believed he could have made such a start all things considered

Fellow Bears, remember it's not how you start, it's how you Finnish.

And a message to te other side of the city, "you must really be taking RFC seriously if you do a lap of honour after beating us. sometimes life comes back to bite you".

Optimizm

1.) 03 Sep 2018 09:52:49
Agree, if we're being honest this has probably been a better start to the season than we could have hope for.

Still think SG got the tactics wrong yesterday though. I've heard fans say that Walter set up in a similar fashion at Parkhead during the 90s and we would frustrate them and then sneak a winner.

That's true but Walter could rely on guys like Hateley, McCoist and Negri to take any chance the team created. Morelos is a very useful player but whenever he gets a chance against Celtic you would never put money on him taking it.

2.) 03 Sep 2018 12:12:23
Agree Geronimo, with all your points, but SG was a winner on the park, and I’m confident he will have taken yesterday too heart personally.

After the emotion dies down I’m sure he and his team will adjust the plan.

“Quietness and Confidence Shall be our Strength “

Last time I checked they give out the prizes in May.

Stewarty. If you track the nonsense that appears in the DR and Sun about Rangers and their players and targets it’s total guff.

The fact is they have no access to our club anymore, their constant yo-yo reporting of Morelos is shameful, unfounded and is used only to get clicks on their website.

It’s time we stopped “clicking” on these rags headlines which are mostly made up by spotty sub editors.

Now they realise where there bread was buttered for years, and so do Rangers commercial department which is why we should get behind Rangers News and send these cretins a message

Having watched him play and listened to some of his team mates he is perfectly suited to manage the hammer throwers in our game and also play at a higher level in Europe. He’s a cut above our SPL and Stevens squad is starting to look formidable. I also believe we are starting to look lean, mean and physical. Great addition to “ The Machine”

Chaps,

The Daily Record has been making up all sorts of lies (and The Sun parrots them out a day later) They do not get official comment from our club so they make things up.

Billy Gilmour, no proof or quote from anyone at Ibrox.
Morelos, his agent was in Porto, then he was discussing someone else, now it’s back to Alfredo. No comment or quote from Ibrox.

This is why the DR and BBC get nothing from us and it bugs the life out of them!
