IF it's Gerrard all he can do, like any other manager, is sign the best we can afford and use his knowledge and skills to shape them into a team capable of beating the mhankies. That's the starting point, same as it was for Souness, for Waddell, for Symon, for Struth, for them all. Everything else follows on, positivity, European football, money, support, confidence, morale.
