Could easily finish fourth but yet some people still want murty to be given another season 😳😳.

He's got his favourite 11 which is killing us. He has got to change formations and rotate players game to game. Substitutions are a big part of any game. If your formations not working try something new . change players who's having an off day even if it's after 30mins. Murty and only him knows why he will not change his 11. Every team that plays us change to combat our line up.

He’s not got his favourite 11. He has his best available 11. We have the best attack in the league due in no small part to the effect Murty has had since January. That was his priority in January. Another window to fix the defence and get injured players back will do for me.

murty is a youth coach has lack of experiance is hindering him not making subs at correct time keep playing the same players that not playing well not changing formation this is all part of beeing a good football manager rite now he is lacking in these decisions.
How would use fans feel that want to keep him if we are in this same posting next season in the leauge would you class that as a good season and progress.
We just can not afford any more gambles and i feel murty would be a gamble considering the point droped this season while he been in charge.

Sorry BB1873, are you on the wind up? We have the best attack in the league? Buff hasn't kicked a ball with accuracy for months. Windass would be used as an impact sub at best and let's just say i'm glad Cummings has a cracking personality.

bigcliff, i'm afraid we do have the best attack in the league, it's our defence that let's us. BigBear1873 is right in what he is saying.

If you have a look at the goal scorer charts and the assists combined, we have far more players in the top 10 on each chart than any other team in the league = Best attack in the league, this is a fact.

Defence on the other hand we are probably the 5th or 6th best defence.

Thanks Bearmode91. Glad someone is able to look at cold hard facts.

Rangers have scored 63 league goals this season. 1 more than Celtic but we've conceded 18 more than them. This has been caused in the most part by the losses of Bates and McCrorie at various points of the season and HAVING to play the garbage he has been left with.

So many people keep going on about making changes to the formation etc but why make changes just for the sake of it? It's not the system that is the problem. It's the players who aren't doing enough. We play with 4 at the back and 2 defensive midfielders. How is changing the shape going to stop defensive errors or give Alves any pace to be able to catch anyone?

I ask these people one question. How often did Walter Smith change his tactics or shape during a game? 4-5-1 all the way during his second spell. The difference is that he had decent defenders.

Give Murty the Pre Season transfer window and I'm certain the defence will get sorted.

The thing is murty knew about the shaky defence, in January he signed martin. I think we now know why he was available on loan. he's awful. If the players aren't doing enough (defensively) why hasn't murty been bashing some heads? Why can't he motivate the players? Why can't he get a performance out of alves? I've seen alves a couple of times this season for Portugal, he looks a different player. I am very grateful for murty stepping up and helping us but he's an u-20s coach and he's looked like one the last few games.

Because he has better players around him with Portugal and the team is more orgyI think the biggest problem we have is are midfield leaving are defenders exposed are midfield are so lightweight it's unbelievable

Ok Big and Bear i take your point and facts are facts. Stats are Stats. Your comments about giving Murty time to get the defense sorted in the summer window sound as if you have guaranteed knowledge the best forward line in Scotland is kept together? We may end up with the best defence and 5th or 6th rated strike force. We should always score more than our opponents regardless of our poor defense. Who cares if they get two goals we get 3. This doesn't happen because in an extremely poor league we can't out gun Hamilton and Dundee on a regular basis with the best forward line in Scotland.

Think anyone that wants murty as full time manager has lost the plot guy has done very average job at best points we dropped have been terrible especially at home and be honest we don't go into any game full of confidence we are still a average team it's okay giving Celtic a game now and then but you need consistency to win anything we don't have that under murty it's okay saying he's a nice guy which he is but we need better and stronger he also can't change game don't see why anyone can say give him another season we can't afford another season we need to stop them asap.

Give graeme murty a chance, to build and get in his own players! He's had ONE transfer window and that imo anyway, has been impressive! Just imagine murty and allen having another 2 transfer windows and getting rid of some of the deadwood, for by! We improve tenfold imo anyway! If you MurtynoMore don't think our manager graeme murty has improved this rangers team, in his short term in charge, then i'm afraid you're looking in the mirror when you're suggesting anyone has lost the plot!

I think any decision on if he stays or goes is silly atm. Wait till the end of the season. Calling for him to go when we could still win a cup and finish second is strange. However not winning a cup and finishing less than 2nd well that's a different story. But again don't make full hardy views on him just yet.

Although I really don't think murty is the answer. If we win cup and finish second. He'll have earned the right to be manager. I'd even give him a 12 month rolling contract!

Can we afford to wait until end of the season. Plans should be in place now for a Manager to allow the club to move forward. I don’t think Murty has lost the plot however he isn’t the answer and we need someone with more experience in. Yeah the team has improved however after the shambles that was Pedro it wasn’t difficult to improve upon that

Realistically the team hasn't improved results wise. Sure we are possibly playing prettier football but that doesn't win u games. For me Murty is on a par with Pedro and Warburton and we certainly won't stop the 10 with Murty in charge.

I'm still unsure if Murty will get us to the next level but if we finish 2 nd and win Scottish Cup the board will give him job I believe. I think we'd all love a big name but with club still trying to stabilise I don't think it's going to happen. 100 percent behind Murty.

I can't believe how harsh some people are being on Murty. he's had some bad results during his two stints in charge but both times he has had to take over a team in tatters due to the incompetence of the two previous managers with their poor signing policies and god awful football. We're playing better and been scoring freely. He might turn out a great manager or it just might not happen for him but the criticism is over the top i reckon.
