Jesus christ lads. Vydra is 20x the player Kamberi or Dykes are. Would be a great option for us.

I saw Sturridge backstage at UFC239 on Saturday night. He was standing around with three of his mates as all the fighters and staff were leaving for the night. He looked in pretty good shape to me, not sure if he's had much of a pre-season in him or any training at all, but he was in Vegas and didn't look too far off physical shape, at least that's how he looked to me from a couple feet away.

Maybe unlikely to move for Marcondes, but there’s some cracking players in that league, including Jores Okore who is back at Midtjylland after a tough couple of seasons. I’d be keeping a close eye on him if I were Mark Allen. There’s definitely a player in there and he’s a mega athlete.
Scandinavia is full of good players, on fairly reasonable wages. Norway especially.

Serious question here lads, at what point do we stop caring about youth development and start caring about having the best and most suitable players, regardless of age and nationality?
I see a ton of comments about bringing through our own, but to be honest, if they're not the very best available to us, they're not the standard we should be accepting.
I'd happily have a top-tier loanee from Chelsea than a mid-table SPL player from our youth setup. Maybe it's just me, but I feel that the "loyalty to youth" aspect of the game is almost irrelevant now, we should continue to seek the very best at all ages and build around what's available to us.
