Josh Doig 100% not coming to Rangers, he's speaking to Bologna and Leeds in the next days. Been told His preference is to stay in Italy.! He doesn't want to come back to Scotland. Rangers did inquire about him but was told it's a non starter.

Would be very surprised about King as he has done well for his age when called on and just signed a new contract recently. The only thing I could think that would see him leave it a good offer but I bet they would want a good amount.

These young guys need their chance when they’re 18/ 19 to have a go in the first team. Once they reach 20/ 21 and having not made any impact the likelihood is that they never will. If Lowry isn’t going to play regularly and by that I mean getting occasional starts and coming off the bench most weeks then why not loan him out? I know Wright has done well coming on recently and Arfield is a good impact sub but I’d rather Lowry/ king/ Devine/ Lovelace etc got the minutes over guys that you know their ceiling isn’t particularly high especially if we’re winning the game. King made a lot of mistakes when he was playing and to me I think he needs a loan more than lowry does. Surely a good championship team or a lower prem team would bite your hand off for a guy who’s got champions league experience (albeit a bad one)

I don't see what the big fuss is about King?! He's young, and could get better, but there's absolutely nothing special about him.
Unfortunately, King has fallen victim to this strange behaviour amongst somme of our support, where we bum young players up big style and tout them as the next big thing. Think R McCrorrie. It happens all the time. A young player shows some promise, and the next minute, he's the next Richard Gough. Or the next Barry Ferguson. And so on! King is one of those players. Unfortunately!

Kings got a lot more to give, He’s 19 just signed a long term deal in December if the case was he had no long term future why sign him? CBs don’t generally peak until later! Although he may end up a CDM imo.

It will be interesting to see King’s final position, agree it could be CDM. I’m fairly sure the reason he was so highly rated at youth level was his technique and range of passing. I think he’ll need to make it to at least 6ft 2 in to be a centre half, the way the game is nowadays.

Look, whether you like it or not, King was shown up in a number of games at CB, and posters have given their opinion on that. They're not making anything up just so they can slate him. To think differently is ridiculous!
My opinion is he is not a good CB. If he is to stay (hope he does and proves me wrong), then it will be as a CM. Time will tell.
My biggest concern is the way some fans bum these young players up as if they are the next big thing. More often, than not, they fail to live up to these expectations. Not the players fault.

Now that the dust has settled on what was a terrific performance yesterday from the team, especially second half. questions still need answered regarding Murty. The guy for me still doesn't cut the mustard, he really doesn't seem to have a clue as to what changes to make to improve the team when it's needed. He seems to just hope the team he picks does the job and if it doesn't then we're screwed. Yesterday for example, everyone could see Niko was done yet Murty keeps him on till 70 odd / 80 minute mark. This is a recurring theme for every match, he either doesn't know the change to make or leaves it too late. Granted you only have to look at our bench to see there's not much as far as extreme talent goes but there was young fresh legs he could have put on.! As much as that was a fantastic display it really does paper over the cracks. Murty will get a big pat on the back for his point and rightly so, but let's not forget we have been absolutely rotten with him in charge, Celtic and Aberdeen x2 aside. his win percentage is the same as Pedros was after 12games in charge but Murty has lost more games. I hope that yesterday is a start of things to come but I thought the same after we beat Aberdeen at home and look what happened after that.!
Pessimistic I know but that just how it is.
Anyway hope everyone has a lovely new year when it comes and hopefully 2018 we (Rangers) can kick on.!

Really can't get why there's so many fans wanting Murty!? The man has done a reasonable job thus far as caretaker manager to steady the ship so to speak, but is he really the man that's going to help close the gap on Celtic!? As football fans we're all a fickle lot, I'll I've heard is "aye but we took a point at Parkhead" forgetting that we lost to ICT and Dundee the last time he was in charge and now this time beating Aberdeen home and away people forget the previous two games to that where we lost to Hamilton at Ibrox for the first time in 90 some years then lost to a bottom of the league at the time Dundee team. Murtys record at Caretaker has been P12 W7 D1 L4, if that was anyone else in charge I think we'd all be going nuts with a record like that, now I'm not meaning to criticise the man as he can only play the cards he's dealt as the saying goes but if Rangers have real aspirations of being number 1 again we have to think bigger that Murty. Sorry but that's just my opinion, who do we now go for!? I've really no clue, but if Mr King wants us all to buy into it all again with season tickets at the end of the season he better put a rabbit out of the hat.

Ok so I think people really have to calm the hell down! Personally and over 50% of the readership thinks Mcinnes was the wrong choice.
Murty has done what none of the previous two managers has done- talk sense, build a relationship between players, got players in their right positions and playing for the jersey. He conducts himself with integrity and outsmarted the ‘main candidate’ twice, second time with 10 men and a make shift defence, so I give him lots of credit for steadying the ship.
Now whether this length of time that it has taken to get contact to Aberdeen was to unsettle the sheep it worked a treat without rangers ever mentioning DM by name. The media did all the work for us. Fact is, we are 2nd in the league and we have a real chance of being consistent under Murty than any other manager at the moment.
I hope the board take as much time and get the best manager in. We are nowhere near catching Celtic, just now or in January. Work needs to be done to get the right person in for the summer while using youth rather than spending in January. Give Murty the chance to continue to stabilise and reach 2nd place. For the love of god just get behind the team and maybe just maybe we’ll have the confidence to take something off them in January.

team etc. How can we realistically give Murty and JJ the

the line. they deserve our respect and gratitude. So, if not

and had visions of managing the team I was brought up
with then guess what! . I would bite your hand off and
not think twice, even in our current state. (temporary)

I think we went for McInnes because out of everybody currently involved in Scottish football he was the most qualified. I don't think there's anybody else in Scottish football who could do the job. Murty should be offered a contract til the end of the season imo.

As much as I'd like to sign Walker from Hearts (which doesn't look like it's happening) I'm glad the club won't be held to ransom for a player we could get for peanuts in January or at least a pre contract done in January for next season and get him for nothing. Well done to the board for not backing down and over paying for a player with 1 year left on his current deal. I think the £600k we reportedly offered was a fair price but that's football.

3rd choice behind who though John? For me he’s better and more established than McCrorie, (right at this time) so would that push him down the pecking order? I’d be disappointed if that’s who we were looking at anyway. I think we need a better and bigger goalie. I don’t see Kelly ever commanding his box and taking crosses.
