Keirnan and Halliday were abysmal before the game today. After the game they remain abysmal. Next week they will be abysmal once more. And then you guessed it. abysmal to the end. We start minus one every game they play.

To be fair the same could be said about the other 9.

2.) 19 Feb 2017 21:06:26
Surely Warburton identified replacements for Kiernan, Tavernier and Halliday but the board refused. Imagine how bad the players he had in mind would have been. More players with agents from the Stellar Group by chance? Thought so.

If Alex McLeish takes the reigns at Ibrox I expect his methods to help sure up the midfield as well as the defence. I remember the night we made the last 16 of the CL and big Bob Malcolm was used in a defensive midfield role against Inter Milan where he excelled.

Does anyone else think he may deploy such tactics as he must have identified Halliday as being Rangers weakness after watching the first 5 minutes of Sunday's win over Morton.

Could Wilson be used here or even the new boy Bates? None of our current crop can pass a ball like Boab right enough even although he was a bomb scare at times, but we need an alternative in this area of the park.

Wilson is too immobile to play there unless we play a vastly different system

2.) 14 Feb 2017 19:29:53
Haha Boab Baresi. Remember the game well and bomb scare doesn't even begin to cover it!

3.) 14 Feb 2017 19:39:46
The biggest difference big eck will make is NO holding midfielder! It will be 442.

4.) 14 Feb 2017 20:56:09
I can't see where we are going to find the money for frank de boer. Not only that where are we gonny get cash for transfer kitty for a manager like him. Also can't see him working with someone above him as dof.

5.) 15 Feb 2017 07:48:05
McLeish played 4-3-3 then. His team was Def: Wattereaus, Ricksen, Andrews, Kyrgiakos, Murray. Mid: Malcolm, Feeguson, Namouchi. Str: Burke, Buffel, Lovenkrands.

6.) 15 Feb 2017 13:21:57
De Boer has always had a DoF to work with. It was Marc Overmars at Ajax. Continental managers have worked this way for many years and are quite comfortable with it, so why can't you see it happening?

I see the DR have the club self imploding and letting supporters down again. right yar. away back into the hole u crawled out of. It's time for Warbs to walk. End of.

I hate the DR, but there is truth to that story. Rangers are imploding, again. Your chairman let's you down consistantly, your Management team have stabbed you in the back and your squad, well the less said about them the better. So what exactly is it that is irking you about this story, too much truth in it? .

2.) 12 Feb 2017 10:24:58
Could be worse, could be davie provan doing another hatchet job in the sun saying how ranger have treated mike ashley badly haha and that he's the man to put money n the club what a joke, papers up here are a joke

3.) 12 Feb 2017 11:23:04
The Sunday Post is just as bad if you read the columns by Kenny Dalglish and Alan Brazil - the well-known Rangers hater. Brazil thinks Warburton should have stayed and has been treated badly. Aye, right!

4.) 12 Feb 2017 11:23:53
Bhampot. Correct. The truth hurts - especially when it comes from the Daily Ranger / Daily Rebel (delete as appropriate) .

The inability to drop Kiernan & Halliday has cost us once again. The farcical comedy bloopers continue with no remorse. Each game when the team is announced and their names are read out everyone knows it is cerain a stromash will follow. Tripping over the ball, failing to know what is around, caught in possession constantly, failing to mark the man & the list goes on. The script can be written on here before it unfolds as it has become a regular cavalcade of whopping errors. The truth is the team can't be asked to perform knowing that these two liabilities are waiting to wreak havoc on their efforts through the 90. They can't be trusted with carrying out the staple duties of their position and have made Hearts look good, and in turn gave them confidence. Let's see how Warburton handles this on Sat. I can see fans staying away if changes are not made as it's a sure fire blunder fest when the duo play.

A lot of fans questioning the signing of Jack Alnwick. What happens if Wes Foderingham pops his shoulder tomorrow at Tynecastle for instance. All of a sudden every pundit in the country is saying it was a shrewd move by Warbuton at such a crucial point in the season. Recalling Liam Kelly from his role in Livingston's promotion push or relying on young Robby McCrorie is not the answer. Gilks wanted to leave making him an unsuitable selection for the squad going forward. Right decision for me.

De Boer has always worked with a director of football/ head of recruitment. Overmars at Ajax and Piero Ausilio at Inter Milan. There isn't a big club in the world which doesn't use a figurehead to interpret affairs from a more distant view than from that of the 1st team manager.

Garner and Miller upfront. midfield 4 of Toral, Halliday, Hyndman and McKay. Defence: Wallace Hill, Senderos and Hodson. Foderingham in goal
Expect his side to be more organised and not as wreckless in posession i. e. No fannying about in front of your own goal. Goodbye Wes Beckenbauer. Hello Wes Foderingham.

They never walked away from Brentford. Their board wanted to start signing players based on statistics like you would in a game of champ man, he opposed the proposition and left. Also the going wasn't tough, he was one play off away from the Premier League. You been reading the celtic View?

I find it laughable how a guy scores a goal against us and all of a sudden people have the opinion that he is "better than we have just now". Labelling him as having great ability. I was at the game on Sat and it seemed all Louis Moult was good for was conning the referee. Every time Clint Hill even made an approach or jumped for a header, the boy was on his backside. People on here seem to come across as if they have been monitoring his progress for years, similar to the Reece Oxford speculation. At the end of the day, they don't match up with the attributes and credentials which people are tagging them with.

Don't think Nicholson would be a popular choice at Tynecastle if he signed pre contract just now.

Nowak and Hughes if Souttar is out unless the new boys Oshiniwa or Struna can play a sweeper role. Here comes another park the bus routine. 5 at the back or 3 with two wing backs.
