I don’t know if there’s any truth in the latest rumour but I have heard David Moyes is scheduled in for a meeting today with the board. Chinese whispers but don’t know how to take this one, what’s everyone’s thoughts!

He did a great job at Everton struggled at Man United but Giggs and co were against him from day 1 he wouldn’t be the worst appointment but for me we have to get McInnes

2.) 27 Oct 2017 10:56:27
I know he supported rangers as a boy his dad still does but thought his allegiances were with other side now at 16/ 1 and 20/ 1 on betting sites is it worth a punt

3.) 27 Oct 2017 12:58:33
i hope not he isn't the answer

i still think mcinnes should have been in before pedro and should be the front runner for the job this time as i have no doubts he would get mcginn mclean and moult we need these players in our team as we have to get better than the rest then try catch celtic as quickly as possible

4.) 27 Oct 2017 13:38:33
i rate mcginn as a player, would love to see him in our midfield. would cost far too much though mate, especially after ginger nuts lumps a couple extra mill on the fee just because its us

5.) 27 Oct 2017 15:59:14
No to David Moyes. not good enough

6.) 27 Oct 2017 16:25:23
how long has mcginn got on his contract

7.) 27 Oct 2017 18:15:39
few years mate. sure he only signed an extension in the last 12 months

8.) 27 Oct 2017 18:16:49
Here's a wildcard (first post. ) Jurgen Klinsmann is out of work just now

9.) 28 Oct 2017 00:58:40
Doubt it mate. I think we should’ve got mccines in before Pedro but would he even want to come? The way Aberdeen are the now and the state we’re in?!
I think big eck’s been out too long and I don’t want Moyes in. Alan Pardew is out of work the now, don’t know what the deal will be for managers wages or if he would even want to either!

10.) 28 Oct 2017 07:53:13
Zero chance of McGinn going to Ibrox. He absolutely detests us.

11.) 28 Oct 2017 08:21:24
Mcginn would be some signing, he strong as an ox and is a great runner can see spaces I like the boy.

12.) 28 Oct 2017 09:27:35
Moyes did not do well at everton unless you count mid table and no trophy's as "well" .

Too many people on this board slating McInnes already, if Murty was offered the job and failed at the end of the season for 2nd spot how many so called fans would be calling for the board to resign as they made the wrong appointment remember Murty lost to Dundee and Hamilton but wins 2 in s row against one of our main rivals and all off a sudden he’s the man . I am fully behind him but I would prefer him to look after the development squad as he does have great coaching skills but if it all goes wrong with McInnes then we hav Murty to step in again, let’s get behind whoever the manager is.

what if mcinness fails to get second, or is it a given

2.) 06 Dec 2017 20:01:22
So what you are saying Jny-boy is that Murty should nag around as the bridesmaid again waiting to see if the new man falls on his sword before he gets another chance? If I was him I'd be looking for a new job ASAP. He took over a team in total turmoil, he had to get those demotivated and demoralised players to trust him, he made changes to the playing system and moved players to different positions and the players bought into it.

Their confidence is beginning to return as has been shown in their recent performances, they are buying into Murty's tactics and upbeat philosophy and now we are about to bin all that to start again under a manager who has had an undistinguished ten year career in management. And you think Murty will just meekly crawl away back to kiddies' corner? I think he will see this appointment as a slap in the face as he is at least as capable as McInnes, probably more so.

3.) 06 Dec 2017 20:25:39
I would take back to back defeats if we won 2 against Aberdeen or celtic its our closest rivals. Murty has done well and deserves his chance to take the team forward

4.) 06 Dec 2017 23:19:30
RfcChris couple bad results and you’d be calling for Murray head he’s not experienced enough for the job great guy and will be a great manager in time but we’re to big a club for him to be starting out on it’s ok a few games as caretaker but not full time completely different and I think he would crack under the strain

5.) 07 Dec 2017 07:34:18
I think the ultimate test was back to back games against Aberdeen he won both games he changed the formation and played mcrorie in a new position. He instilled confidence in windas, bates, wilson, wee holt, pena even looked better. And let's not forget he took a point off celtic by setting the team up correctly. Pedro and mcinnes both get humped off celtic not murty. He speaks with class and is honest. He is a very good coach which is what we need since we have a director of football and a managing director taking care of everything else. If he just needs to train, motivate and pick the formation and team. It looks like we are set for mcinnes so as I have said before I will follow on but fear the worst.

6.) 07 Dec 2017 11:40:56
Murty knew McInnes was first choice and that move wold be made after the AGM and dons double header. He has done a great job considering and deserves all the accolade, however, he also knew he would be returning back to youth set up with reputation intact. I reckon he will be a manger one day and a very good one at that. Hopefully he continues to progress with structure at rangers.

Just to throw another name into the hat! How does everyone think of Alex Neil, a good young manager that played good football and on a tight budget

As long as it's not Billy Davies if he was to come in I think it would e worse than pedro

2.) 26 Oct 2017 20:23:45
McInnes would be a good choice for me as i don't see him as a risk or Big Sam who knows how to set a side up, . think also Wright could do a job . definitely not Davies . please! What we need is someone to make us hard to play against and get the fear factor back. And get the best out the players we have ie play in their proper position! Brenda refocused delilas team and look how they cam on!
