Just watched the Roughie and peter football show and they mentioned an Australian A-League team are in for Scott McDonald. Sounds like this rumour could be spot on.

Your logic would be spot on if we never went through what we did the past 5 years and weren't just re-promoted to the SPL this year. Get a reality check pal.

It's good to see someone isn't losing their mind like the other half of the loonies on here. Calling for the gaffer to be sacked etc. Some people think is 1990s the way they are going on. Rome wasn't built in a day lads. It's our first season back up and we need to get behind the team and the manager. The confidence is low at Ibrox ATM. Fans calling for sacking isn't what we need now is it. give the man a chance. The season has just started.

Indeed mate. The whole team has been off the pace this year. Miller bailed us out 2 weeks in a row with the 2nd goal v Dundee and an injury time winner v Motherwell, or it could be a lot worse. Kiernan has been laughable at the back from day one. With the exception of the Celtic game last year in the cup. We need to get rid of him or soft goals and sloppy defending will continue all through the season. If we start defending properly and be a bit more solid at the back. The team will grow in confidence. Wallace has been poor this year as well. The full team loos low on confidence. Anytime a team counter attacks us they look like scoring. That is a worry. MW needs to grow a set and sort it.
I blame the tactic we are playing. The full backs are being told to bomb fwd and were leaking goals like a siv leaks water. We're not even scoring or playing anything decent in the final third to compensate for the amateurish defending. Something is wrong behind the scenes that we don't know about. I'm sure of it. We are a different team to the team that was zipping about last year. Does Barton have anything to do with it? Who knows what's going on but something does not seem quite right to me.
Barton is a good player. He's the best in the team for sitting in front of the defence. He can see a pass and he gets stuck into tackles. All this chatter on here by other posters claiming Barton slows the play down is not accurate. We play the ball out wide consistently to wingers that never take the full back on. They pass the ball back and it gets passed across the park to the other wing and back again. It's hardly the deep lying midfielders fault we do f all with it and we play a passing game that is easy to play against as we never go through the middle. We don't have Messi, Neymar or Suarez to pull this style aff. I think some people on here are expecting Barton to ghost past 5 players and sink a 30 yarder into the top corner a few times a game the way they go on.
